Chapter 722 - Email For Oscar

It was a hot day with the sun shining bright, making people just want to stay indoors and enjoy the cool air conditioning. The profuse sweat that appeared on their temples and backs made the day. Cold drinks and breezy winds were not enough to cool them.

As it was approaching lunchtime, Oscar almost turned off his computer in his cold office and got ready for lunch. But before he could close all internet windows, the mansaw an incoming email. With high curiosity he quickly opened it.

It turned out that the new email was from Lisa.

His desire for lunch immediately disappeared. Oscar corrected his sitting position on the leather chair again.

Dani, who was standing in the doorway, was initially waiting for the man so they could have lunch together. He asked while watching Oscar's movements. "Should I have lunch first or wait for you, sir?"

"Wait a minute, please." Oscar replied without looking at Dani.

In the end, Dani couldn't help but stand in the doorway, waiting for him to finish what he was doing.

A wide smile graced the man's lips when he read the title of the email. Just as Oscar had ordered yesterday, the words of apology were written by hand. Then he downloaded one by one the photos that Lisa sent to him via email.

Letter of apology to the honorable Oscar Petersson.

Oscar Petersson, the 40-something man who is now CEO of the company Petersson Communications, is the reason why I'm writing this. I hereby promise to always pick up your phone calls and be ready 24 hours 7 days to always tell you wherever I go.

Therefore, my dear, my sweet, my beloved Oscar I apologize to you. This is an open letter to you sincerely written by me. I admit that yesterday was my fault, not yours.

But just so you know, apart from yesterday's problem, I've never been wrong about things. If only I still had your half-nude photos, I definitely wouldn't just sit back and straight up leak them to cyberspace!!

Alright. I think the opening line will suffice. Now I'm going to start drafting sentence by sentence, because Oscar, the venerable lord at Petersson Communication, told me to write 8000 times.

Ps. Just see if you don't read my good writing to the end!

The sound of low-pitched laughter began to fill Oscar's study. He read the sentence by sentence that Lisa designed for him with a happy heart. Who would have thought that giving that woman a punishment of writing 8000 words could make him this happy?

If Oscar knew that reading an apology letter from Lisa could make him feel this happy, he should've made her do something similar quite often!

So happy, the man forgot that Dani was standing across from him. The burly man was completely confused by the look on Oscar's face. It was the first time he'd seen his boss smiling so foolishly when he read a work email.

Is the content of the email a happy news? But what news can make the man smile that grandly?

At the same time, when Dani was confused by Oscar's attitude, the face of the man looked like spring. His eyes lit up, his cheeks lit up, and often his lips made a sound of laughter. And again, Dani could have sworn that this was the first time he'd seen Oscar grinning wide while reading a work email.

Dani immediately turned around and saw the calendar stuck to Oscar's office wall. In his heart, he immediately circled today's date with a red pen and also wrote a short message below it.

Today is the first day Mr. Oscar smiles while reading work emails.

Oscar looked at the second photo he had downloaded and started reading slowly. Lisa's handwriting was getting more and more messy, but at least he could still read it.

After reflecting on my mistakes for 1 hour, I realized that my actions can make you hurt or hurt your mind. I, Lisa Soewandi, hereby swear never to make the same mistake again. I won't do anything you don't like (like eating on the street, turning off my cell phone, etc.). From today on I will follow everything you tell me to do.

In the future, if you tell me to go to the West, I will immediately get ready, pack my suitcase, and go West. And if you tell me to eat stones, I will eat stones! (But first you have to set an example.) I will be a good woman and mother to you and William.

From now on, we must live a harmonious family life. Like the families we see in soap operas or movies. And oh, if you still want to, the desire to have a daughter (read: this is to please William and your satisfaction) is still on the agenda.

So just do it when you and I are ready.

Reading the last sentence that Lisa wrote with a red pen made Oscar burst out laughing. Her letter, which contains 8000 words, is able to make all of his tiredness disappear.

Dani is getting more and more confused by Oscar's attitude as time goes on. His mind was increasingly filled with question after question that was already on the tip of his tongue.

What kind of email did Oscar receive that could make the man laugh out loud? Is the company's turnover skyrocketing? Does that mean that his wealth is increasing?

Thank you for taking the time (actually a waste of time, because reading this unclear writing really doesn't make any sense) (my hands are cramping now, wasting pen and paper ink!!) to read my apology letter.

Hereby, I, Lisa Soewandi, hope that my apologies are accepted and that you, the gentleman, Oscar Petersson, feel relieved to have given me this senseless punishment.

Thank you.

Lisa Soewandi.

After reading Lisa's apology, Oscar's mood immediately improved. He no longer felt tired, his ears became sharp, and his eyesight became clear. He could hear the sound of car horns in the distance, his breath was light, and he was 10 years younger.

Even though Oscar was one hundred percent certain that the writing was less than 8000 words, maybe around 6500 words, the man didn't mind it because the contents of the letter made him smile. His fingers began to play on the computer's keyboard.

Thanks for the letter, Lisa.

I have accepted your apology. I hope you will not repeat the same mistake again in the future.

Oscar Petersson

CEO Petersson Communication + Lisa's Lover.
