Chapter 41

(AN: Originally, I wasn't going upload a chapter today or tomorrow but f*ck it, why not.)

(Evening)

Yang Chen had made it to Rose's bar after spending the day at Yu Lei International with Ruoxi.

When the event was over, Yang Chen had notice Ruoxi had a tired look on her face and figured out she might have been mentally and physically tired after today's events. So he drove her back home in order to let her rest. Ruoxi, of course, agreed when he saw the concerned look on Yang Chen's face making her heart jump around in happiness.

Rose's bar had reopened after the banquet that happened a few days back. So when Yang Chen entered the bar, he saw that it was packed.

Yang Chen was then going head to Rose's room until he heard someone shout at him.

"It's you!"

Yang Chen looked to the direction of the sound and saw that a young woman was pointing at him. He found this young woman familiar until he remembered where he had seen her. It was Tangtang, the girl that accused him of sleeping with her mother.

Tangtang had come to hang out with her friends at a bar. Of course, her mother had no knowledge of this and she was going to keep it that way. She wasn't going to drink as she never really liked alcohol, she just wanted to get away from her house and her mother's strict rules.

One of the male friends that came with Tangtang found her behavior weird so he asked with a concerned tone.

"Tangtang what's wrong?"

This young man was quite handsome with a head full of short hair.

The young man then looked toward where she was pointing and saw Yang Chen. He found him very familiar until he became slightly nervous as he recognized who he was. How could he not? This man was all over the news today.

Tangtang didn't seem to know this and glared at Yang Chen.

"Because of you, my mother has prevented me from hanging out with my friends!" Tangtang shouted angrily.

Th young man was confused but questions can be asked later. He then put himself in front of Tangtang and gave a peaceful smile.

"Sir, excuse her behavior, she hasn't been in a great mood lately."

"What the hell are you talking about Yuanye! Move so I can keep yelling at him!" Tangtang said.

The young man, who was named Yuanye, smiled nervously but didn't move from his spot.

Yang Chen hearing his name was quite stunned. He never would have guessed to have met him here. He then shook his head to get rid of those thoughts, he was here for Rose and nothing else.

Suddenly Yang Chen felt being hugged from behind so he turned to look and saw that it was Rose.

"Hubby, what are you doing out here?" Rose asked with a lovely smile.

Yang Chen turned around and pecked her on the lips.

"Nothing, let's go to your room. It's too loud in here." Yang Chen said with a smile.

Yuanye seeing their intimacy became shocked. Wasn't it announced that he was already married to Lin Ruoxi, the CEO of Yu Lei International? He then figured out that this must have been his lover, but as of now, all he cared about was that Tangtang didn't deliberately provoke this man.

Tangtang also seeing their close interaction, became stunned. She didn't know the relationship between him and her mother, but she did know that her mother was acting differently than her usual self when she had brought Yang Chen up that one time.

"So first you took my dad's chance to court mom and now you're cheating on her!" Tangtang yelled furiously.

Rose was confused but sayed quiet. She would ask Yang Chen later about this.

Yang Chen frowned, "Little girl, can you shut up for a second."

'Little girl?!' Thought Tangtang as her face was red from anger.

Yuanye sweatdropped and prevented Tangtang from doing anything reckless.

"Mister, I hope you won't take great offense. We'll be taking our leave now." Yuanye said before dragging Tangtang with him and leaving the place.

The rest of the people in the bar were to busy getting drunk and having fun so they weren't paying attention to the scene that had just transpired.

Tangtang tried to escape his grip but it useless.

When they were outside, Yuanye let her go and she shouted angrily.

"Yuanye, why did you do that?!"

"Tangtang, do you not know that person's identity?" Yuanye asked seriously.

Tangtang became a bit startled at Yuanye's seriousness and asked, "No, why?"

Yuanye sighed and said, "Figures. That man is someone of high status. He may even be on par with our families."

Tangtang became shocked and asked nervously, "Then what do we do?"

Yuanye thought for a second, "I'm going to have to talk with my parents about this. You should too."

"But..." Tangtang was afraid to tell her mother. She had snuck out tonight and she would be in a whole lot of trouble if she told her.

"Tangtang, this is a serious matter. You may have provoked him and he might want to escalate this matter." Yuanye said seriously.

"Fine." Tangtang said unwillingly.

(Back to Yang Chen)

Yang Chen was on Rose's couch watching TV.

Rose had offered to make Yang Chen dinner when she heard she hasn't eaten yet.

Yang Chen was watching the news and saw that the topic was about him and Ruoxi.

Rose who just came out of the kitchen, went behind the couch and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"You know, I watched that earlier today. I was stunned when I saw how beautiful your wife looked." Rose said sweetly.

Yang Chen smiled, "Oh, yeah?"

Rose nodded but before she was able to say anything, Yang Chen pulled her toward his embrace.

"Ahh!" Rose yelped in surprise.

Yang Chen then gave Rose a deep kiss. Rose was a bit caught off guard before she put her arms around his neck and returned the kiss.

When they separated, Yang Chen smiled and said, "She accepted to meet you."

"Really?!" Rose asked shocked. She didn't think that Ruoxi would want to see her.

Yang Chen nodded and said, "She'll be coming by tomorrow to meet you here at the bar."

Rose was quite thrilled. She noticed his attitude toward Ruoxi had changed after that night so she wanted to make him happy.

"Great!" Rose said happily. She then remembered the earlier quarrel with the young group.

"Hubby, what was all that about earlier with those people." Rose asked.

Yang Chen shrugged his arms, "I honestly don't know."

Rose giggle before she got up and said, "Well let's forget the matter and head to the table. Dinner's ready."

Yang Chen smiled and nodded.

(AN: I will say this now, there will be absolutely NO yuri between the Harem. I don't hate it and sometimes enjoy it but I don't want to write that. It would feel like the MC is getting NTR'd and I would rather put salt in my eyes than write that sh*t. (Sarcasm but I'm just portraying how I feel about NTR.????) Anyway, no yuri :)
