Chapter 32

(AN: About the schedule release? Well, I don't trust myself with one.???? I've been busy IRL recently so it's kind of difficult to write these days. I'll try to make time in order to write and upload every day but it will be tough.)

Yang Chen returned back inside the house and was puzzled not seeing Ruoxi, so he asked Wang Ma who was cleaning the table.

"Wang Ma, where's Ruoxi?"

"Oh the Young Miss, she left to work already. Also, who was at the door?" Wang Ma asked confused while still cleaning.

"I see. Well, that was Lin Zhiguo." Yang Chen replied.

Wang Ma stopped what she was doing when she heard that guy's name. She then looked at Yang Chen and asked nervously, "Did Ruoxi...see him?"

Although Wang Ma saw Ruoxi stand up from the table to check on Yang Chen when they were eating breakfast, she still hoped it wasn't the case.

Yang Chen nodded, making Wang Ma sigh.

"No wonder she left to work so suddenly." Wang Ma mumbled under her breath.

"Are you against, Ruoxi seeing him?" Yang Chen asked.

"No, it's just...after abandoning the Old and Young Miss all these years, she can't help but hate him. I don't blame her though, she has every right to hate him." Wang Ma replied.

Yang Chen had to agree with Wang Ma on this. Being abandon by her father and grandfather at a young age made her create a shell around herself. Especially after her mother and grandmother's death.

Wang Ma then smiled, "Even if she saw Lin Zhiguo, she didn't seem to be angry or sad about it. I think this had to do with you, Young Master."

"Hmm, you think so? Well, enough about that, I have to get to work so I'll be leaving now." Yang Chen said.

Wang Ma nodded before returning to her daily necessities.

In the afternoon while Yang Chen was doing paperwork, he suddenly received a video call on his computer.

Yang Chen accepted the video call since only the people that can contact him are close friends.

The video connected and what revealed was an extremely beautiful Caucasian woman. She had golden colored hair and sapphire blue eyes. She was also wearing a thin white sweater and a blue skirt showcasing her amazing legs and curvy figure.

When this woman saw Yang Chen, she revealed a smile of excitement and joy.

"Hades, it's a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to finally see you again." The woman said as she smiled happily.

Yang Chen smiled warmly and said, "Jane, you don't have to call me Hades. Call me by my true name, Yang Chen."

Jane's expression turned brighter, to the point she was going explode, but she forcefully held it in.

"Yang Chen, I wanted to let you know that I'll be flying to Zhonghai in a couple of days to see a disciple of mine and I also wanted to see your recent inventions."

Jane definitely used this as an excuse as her main reason to come to China was to see him. Yang Chen, of course, believed her since he knew, Jane had countless disciples all over the world.

"Oh, then I'll go pick you up at the airport when you get here. We could also catch up with each other about how we've been over the years." Yang Chen said.

Yang Chen's relationship with Jane can be considered close since they have known each other since they were young. They can basically be called childhood friends.

Jane's heart couldn't take any more joy at this point. She then gave a beautiful smile and said, "I would love that."

Suddenly the door to Jane's room was barged open and a beautiful m.a.t.u.r.e woman entered.

This m.a.t.u.r.e woman had a tall and slender body, blonde hair, and emerald eyes. Her looks gave off a feeling of an elf from fantasy stories. There were no signs of aging on her as her body was a m.a.t.u.r.e version of Jane. She was also wearing silk beige pajamas that stuck in all the right areas.

"Janeee! Are you really leaving?!" The woman said on the verge of crying. She then rushed to Jane and hugged her like a child.

"Please don't leave me!" The woman shouted as she started shedding tears.

Jane blushed in embarrassment and yelled angrily, "Mother! Please let go!"

Yang Chen seeing this and who barged in started to laugh loudly.

The woman turned toward the computer as she heard Yang Chen laughing.

"ChenChen!?" The woman yelled in pleasant surprise.

Yang Chen wiped a tear and greeted the newcomer.

"Hi, Catherine."

Jane pushed Catherine off of her, making her land on the carpet floor.

"Ow! Jane why did you do that?!" Catherine said as she got up rubbing her bottom.

Jane was embarrassed to the core when she heard Yang Chen laughing.

"Mother, get out!"

Catherine pouted, "But, I want to talk to ChenChen."

Jane pinched her eyebrows, "Mother, this is why I want to leave because you keep acting this way."

Catherine wasn't the brightest person in the world but when she saw Yang Chen on the video call, she instantly knew the reason for her daughter leaving.

"So you're trying to take away ChenChen from me.~" Catherine said playfully with a teasing smile. She also gave her b.u.t.t a wiggle showcasing it to Yang Chen.

Yang Chen smiled wearily at Catherine's actions.

Jane blushed but didn't say anything. She then noticed her mother's weird movements and instantly figured out what she was doing.

"Out!" Jane shouted as she pointed at the door.

Catherine pouted at being discovered by her daughter. She then made her way out of the room, but not before she said goodbye to Yang Chen.

"Goodbye, ChenChen!"

"Sorry about that, but you know my mother." Jane said tiredly after Catherine had left the room.

"No problem, but I should probably leave you since it's pretty late in Wales right now." Yang Chen said as he smiled.

Jane felt a bit sad but was touched by his consideration.

"Alright, good night Yang Chen."

"Good night, Jane."

(Evening)

Yang Chen had finished work and was going to visit Rose so he gave her a call saying that he was coming over.

When he arrived, he saw a rose sitting on the barstool while wearing a loose grey silky top with a bluish-green skirt and black leather wide sandals. She also had her hair tied in a ponytail.

When Rose saw Yang Chen enter the bar, she got up from her seat and rushed toward him. She then placed her arms around his neck and kissed him.

Yang Chen returned the kiss while holding her waist. After they separated lips, Yang Chen asked, "How come, there are no people here?"

Rose smiled and said, "We'll be closing the bar for a few days since there will be an important banquet soon. Anyways, ready to go?"

"Go where?" Yang Chen asked confused.

Rose smirked and replied, "To a date of course!"

Yang Chen pinched her cheeks and smiled, "Alright let's go."

Rose rubbed her cheeks and pouted. She then made her way towards Yang Chen's car without looking back at him.

Yang Chen chuckled before he followed her back to his car.

When Yang Chen started his car, he asked Rose, "Babe, where are we going?"

Rose put her finger over her mouth and said as she smiled, "Secret. Just follow my directions."

Yang Chen complied and followed the directions Rose had set for him.

As they were nearing their destination, Yang Chen felt this district was familiar. When they had made it, Yang Chen figured out why it looked familiar. It was Zhonghai suburbs where he had met Mo Qianni the other day at the food stalls.

Yang Chen then turned to Rose and asked, "Rose, are we going to be eating at one of these food stalls?"

Rose nodded in confirmation, "After trying out those really good foods from the stalls a couple of days ago, I wanted to try more of them."

Yang Chen couldn't help but agree with her. They then got off the car and Yang Chen put his arm around Rose as they tried to find a stall that suited their tastes.

While they were walking, the men couldn't help but take glances at Rose and curse Yang Chen in their hearts at having a beautiful woman by his side.

After a couple of minutes of looking around, they both finally found a stall that sold beef noodle soup.

The couple then ordered their food and it didn't take long for their food to be ready.

While they were eating, Rose suddenly said, "Oh yeah, remember how I said back at the bar that there will be an important banquet soon."

Yang Chen nodded and let her continue.

"Well, the leader of the Dongxing Group of the east side of Zhonghai and his son will be participating, so I will have naturally have to appear since my gang has taken over the west side. They will probably try to form a partnership to avoid any bloodshed between the two sides and I will, of course, agree if it comes down to that. I was also thinking if you can accompany me when it happens?" Rose asked she stared straight at Yang Chen's eyes.

"I thought I told you that I will be glad to help you." Yang Chen replied.

Rose smiled sweetly before she kissed him on the cheek and said, "Thanks, hubby."

They both then continued eating their meal.

When they were finished with their food, Yang Chen tipped the server generously for the good food and they both left walking back to their car.

Yang Chen had his arm around Rose as the walked the streets enjoying their time together in each other's embrace.

"Hubby, I love it when we do this kind of stuff." Rose said gently as she snuggled in Yang Chen's embrace.

Yang Chen smiled teasingly, "What kind of stuff?"

Rose slapped Yang Chen's arm and said, "You know what I mean!"

"I know, I know." Yang Chen quickly said.

Rose then gave an enchanting smile and said, "I hope we get to do this more often, hubby."

Yang Chen smiled warmly and replied, "Of course!"

He then proceeded to deeply kiss Rose on the lips. Rose returned the kiss as she hooked her arms around his neck. The kiss became more intense as Yang Chen started using his tongue and sliding his hands downward toward Rose's b.u.t.t, making her m.o.a.n lightly.

"Mm~"

Suddenly there was a feminine shout that broke them from their intimate kiss.

"What the hell?!"

Yang Chen turned around and saw a person he hasn't seen in a while. It was Mo Qianni who had shouted in anger.

Mo Qianni had come to her usual food stall to drink alone when she was heading back to her car but stumbled upon a pair of lovebirds being really intimate with each other. Her pretty face was already flushed from having a few drinks so seeing their intimate action made her blush even more.

When she found the man to be extremely familiar, she got a little closer to see who this person was. She was shocked to see Yang Chen with another woman doing indecent stuff this late at night.

Mo Qianni's heart couldn't help but tremble as she saw this. She was sad and then became extremely angry so she shouted breaking their intimate action.

"Yo." Yang Chen greeted a bit awkwardly.

Mo Qianni glared hatefully at Yang Chen and pointed at Rose.

"Who is this?"

"Her name is Rose." Yang Chen replied not affected by her glare.

"What is your relationship with her?" Mo Qianni questioned.

"She is my woman." Yang Chen replied without hesitation.

Mo Qianni stared straight at Yang Chen's eyes.

"I see...Does...Ruoxi know?"

Yang Chen scratched the back of his head. He wasn't blind, he had noticed how Ruoxi was acting towards him recently.

"...No"

Mo Qianni gave an ice-cold stare toward Yang Chen and asked, "Will you ever tell her?"

"Of course I will." Yang Chen replied honestly.

Rose who was quiet the whole time, gently pulled Yang Chen's sleeve and asked softly.

"Hubby, who is this?"

"She's...my wife's best friend."

Rose sighed in relief. She had thought this person was the wife of Yang Chen and didn't know how to act so she stayed quiet.

Mo Qianni noticing their close interactions felt even angrier inside her heart.

"You better tell her soon or I'll do It for you." Mo Qianni said coldly.

Mo Qianni was about to turn around and leave but instead, she looked at Rose and said, "He's not worth it."

Rose instantly got angry as she heard this and glared at Mo Qianni.

"What gives you the right to tell me, who is important to me!" Shouted Rose angrily.

Mo Qianni's heart slightly shook, hearing her words. Suddenly tears started falling from her face, but just as fast as they came down, Mo Qianni wiped them away. She then turned around and left.

Rose noticing this felt a little bad for screaming at her but wasn't regretting her action. She then turned around to look at Yang Chen with a sad face.

"Sorry hubby, I think I just ruined the relationship between you and your wife."

Yang Chen smiled warmly and pecked her on the lips.

"You didn't ruin anything, if anything this is my fault. Enough of that, how about we leave already?"

Rose smiled gently and nodded.

They both headed back to the car and Yang Chen was going to drop off Rose and head back home.
