Chapter 5

Next-Day- Morning

In Yang Chen's apartment, Yang Chen was seen sleeping soundly until multiple knocks from the door woke him up.

Knock* Knock* Knock*

Yang Chen groggily opens his eyes, as he reluctantly got up from his bed and walked to open the door just to see Ruoxi there.

"May I help you?" Yang Chen said with a tired face.

"Why aren't you ready yet?" Ruoxi asked while blushing madly as she got to see Yang Chen shirtless, showing off his b.a.r.e body that looks like a God's sculpture.

"We're going to get our marriage certificate and we need to go since I have a meeting this morning." Said Ruoxi while blushing, trying to keep eye contact, but Yang Chen would easily see her checking him out, trying to act discreetly.

"Do you have a suit you could wear?" Asked Ruoxi

"Yes I do, I'll be right back." Said Yang Chen while making his way to the bathroom.

Five minutes later Yang Chen came out wearing a black suit, white dress shirt, and black boots.

Ruoxi nodded approvingly while saying "Alright let's go."

When they made it to the Civil Administration Bureau, they were the center of attention while the guys looked at Yang Chen with envy and jealousy.

Of course Yang Chen didn't care what they thought, he just remained quiet most of the time. While Ruoxi had a cold face as she clung on Yang Chen's arm.

30 minutes later they were done and out of there. They both looked at their picture in which nobody smiled.

"Alright you go to the villa first since I have a meeting soon. The direction is 89 Dargon Garden, Culture Road." Said Ruoxi before heading to the car and getting in.

"Alright." Said Yang Chen plainly and left walking to the destination. Well he didn't walk he just got far enough where nobody would see him, before teleporting to the location.

Yang Chen appeared in front of the door of a big villa that has a big garage and pool.

As he pressed the doorbell he was greeted by a middle-aged woman who looks relatively young for her age even though you could see aging.

When she saw me she smiled happily.

"Hello you must be the, young master that would be coming today."

"Hello my name is Yang Chen nice to meet you." Yang Chen replied with a small smile.

"I'm Wang Ma, let me show you inside." Said Wang Ma before they both entered the villa.

While showing Yang Chen the house and his room, Wang Ma offered if he was hungry.

"Young Master are you hungry?" Asked Wang Ma.

"Sure, I could eat." Said Yang Chen with a small smile.

Wang Ma was happy since most of the food doesn't get eaten and thrown out, and now with someone else here it will be more eventful.

Twenty minutes later they were done eating and Yang Chen helped in washing the plates, which made Wang Ma start to have favorable points for him.

"Wang Ma, I will go to my old place to get a few stuff I forgot to bring." Yang Chen said to Wang Ma.

"Ok, does Young Master need to get a car from the garage?" Asked Wang Ma since she didn't hear Yang Chen come in a car, which means he walked here. She didn't know if she should laugh or cry, and in her mind she thought 'Ahh young miss, you're too much.'

Wang Ma offered Yang Chen since there are too many cars since Ruoxi hardly uses any of them.

"Thanks for your offer but I'll walk since I can enjoy some exercise." Yang Chen said, lying since he'll just teleport there.

"Alright if you say so. Will you be back by dinner?" Asked Wang Ma

"Yup." Replied Yang Chen plainly. Which made Wang Ma happy since it won't just be her and Ruoxi at dinner this time.

Yang Chen left the villa and got a few distances away so nobody will see him, and teleported to his apartment.

Yang Chen teleported outside his apartment since he sensed someone inside, and he knew who it was.

When he opened the door he was greeted by someone. "Big brother Yang." Said by a young woman which by her tone sounded very happy.

"Hello JingJing." Replied Yang Chen nonchalantly.

Li JingJing had elegant black hair, black eyes, and curly eyelashes. She was a very young beautiful woman.

"Big brother Yang, how come you didn't come yesterday for dinner?" JingJing asked a little upset since she didn't see him yesterday.

"Sorry about that, there were some problems I had to handle. By the way I moved so you don't have to come to this place anymore." Replied Yang Chen plainly.

"What! Are you leaving Zong Hai!?" Asked the panicked JingJing.

"No, just a new place since I got married recently." Replied with the same tone.

"Oh...congrats big brother Yang." Replied JingJing after a moment with a sad smile.

"I think I'll be leaving now. I hope you...and sister in law have a...nice life together." Said JingJing before she walked past Yang Chen, and ran when she was out of the apartment.

Yang Chen didn't go after her, he left her be. He wasn't the original Yang Chen so he didn't have to go comfort her. There are many girls that have deep feelings for the original Yang Chen. Unfortunately for them he isn't the same old Yang Chen.

After Li JingJing left, Yang Chen got some clothes and put them in his space since he didn't want to keep holding them.

After he was done he decided to leave but not before looking back at his place trying to sense if there was anything here.

He knew that some people came to check his place in search of the god stone but unlucky for them, Yang Chen had it with him.

Not finding anything he teleported to the Dargon villa.

He appeared outside the place and walked in through the door.

When he entered he saw Ruoxi's beautiful figure laying on the couch watching a Korean drama.

Not wanting to disturb her he made his way to the stairs.

Ruoxi noticed Yang Chen heading for the stairs and realized he must've seen her watching her Korean drama and got embarrassed, so she turned off the T.V. and said to him still a little embarrassed.

"I heard from Wang Ma that you went to your old place to get some things. You better not have brought any of those dirty clothes into my house."

"Don't worry just some personal items." Yang Chen replied without stopping.

"Wait, here I bought you a phone since you don't seem to have one on you." Ruoxi said before taking out a phone from her bag and giving it to Yang Chen.

"By the way tomorrow you must find a respectable job in an office, and in no way will I let you keep becoming a mutton skewer seller." Said Ruoxi in a stern voice as she handed him a brand new phone.

"Thanks, and don't worry I'll find a job tomorrow." Yang Chen replied before turning and headed upstairs to his room.

But before Yang Chen can go upstairs he sees a middle-aged man entering the house.

This man was Lin Kun, Ruoxi's father and when he saw her he gave an ugly expression.

"Father..." Ruoxi said weakly.

"Father? Do you even see me as your father since you disobeyed me and married a lowlife!" Lin Kun said coldly to Ruoxi.

Wang Ma who just came out of the kitchen was scared when she heard that, since Ruoxi didn't inform her father she got married.

Ruoxi eyes started to tear up but she still defended herself.

"As I've said, my marriage is my choice and I wouldn't marry Xu Zhihong!"

"You! Is this how I raised you! You s.l.u.t!" Lin Kun shouted at Ruoxi.

Lin Ruoxi became pale and started crying when she heard her father say that to her but still answered back. "I have never seen a glimpse of your shadow when I was a child, it was only my grandma and mother that were there. You just want me to marry Xu Zhihong for his company resources.

Wang Ma who was tearing up when she saw Ruoxi crying couldn't take it so she went to hug and comfort her, while Ruoxi just let her because she was emotionally unstable.

Then Lin Kun noticed Yang Chen, pointed and shouted at him.

"And you! Get out! Your not allowed to be her husband since she'll be marrying Xu Zhihong."

"No!" Shouted Ruoxi still tearing up and in Wang Ma's embrace.

Lin Kun ignored Ruoxi and kept shouting at Yang Chen. " Did you not listen! Get out!"

Yang Chen didn't respond while having an emotionless face.

Lin Kun seeing him not leaving or responding decided to get closer and shout more in his face.

"Did you not..." But before he could continue, Yang Chen slapped him knocking him out instantly.

*Slap* Lin Kun fell on the floor and became unconscious.

"Yang Chen...you..." Ruoxi and Wang Ma who saw this were shocked when Yang Chen slapped him, knocking him out.

"He was getting annoying." Yang Chen replied indifferently.

Then Yang Chen picked up Lin Kun and put him over his back like a bag of potatoes.

"Where are you going?" Ruoxi asked still a little shaken of what just transpired moments ago.

"Taking out the trash." Replied Yang Chen without looking back and leaving the house.

When Yang Chen was out of the house he teleported to the city dump, dropped him in a big mountain of trash, and teleported back home.

When he got back and entered the house he saw Ruoxi still in Wang Ma's embrace.

Yang Chen just looked at her disheveled hair and her tired face with some tear stains for a couple of seconds. He was recollecting some unwanted memories when he saw her like that, before getting back to reality and making his way upstairs to his room.

(AN: I'll use GOB and Arc of Embodiment more but the thing is he hasn't met with cultivators, Gods or people with powers yet so I'll use it more then because I don't want to use it on regular humans. By the way if I'm going to slow, I'll try to speed up the plot.)
