Chapter 86 - Shimazu Arrive

as Ryjin is Sorting stuff in his Room for planning A soldier runs in and states a army of Shimazu is heading here they are a quarter of a day away and Riders have been sent to all Force's out side Tigers rest to Return all force's should return before the enemy arrive.

Ryjin gets up and heads out as he shouts for Renpa and Achilles and Wallace to mount up and get 500 cavalry each they shall Hit the shimazu army and harass them before they arrive to drop there numbers a bit as Ribuko and Houmei and Karin are out on raids and attack's as Ryjin and the 3 left with 500 Cavalry each 2k hors.e.m.e.n had taken to charge the shimazu ranks to Buy time and to Cut the enemy's Numbers down a bit Renpa went off to do his thing as did Wallace and Achilles Ryjin had headed right for the front of the shimazu army Gaining the shimazu attention as his men had worked there way to the side's and such as Ryjin charged the front The shimazu had Yari Defend against the cav But as they did More cav came in from there sides the Yari where Quickly Killed off Befor the Shimazu katana troops could Arrive in the fight Ryjinand the rest pulled out they had Killed about 400 men in that attack But it was men for Anti Cav so that's good But the shimazu number around 6 k still after loosing Them 400 so Ryjin had his cav keep Riding in and around and past the enemy until the enemy started to hail them with arrows which Made ryjin and his men fall back.

as the army continued its march to Ryjins littel fort Houmai had the Builders Make some Ballista and Load them with what Ryjin can only think is a Canister shot of Arrows ??? each canister can hold around 100 arrows It would blanket the damn sky with 20 of them Houmai can be scary haha.

Ribuko had Kaine and Futai out in the lands with 400 cav each and wait for a signal Karin had herself with a Nice comfy chair and was sat atop the battlements eating and drinking as Bamyu was having Archers line the walls Genbou had taken Infantry and set up Traps around the fort and had a detachment of men around 2k Strong just sat out there in front of the fort as if asking for the enemy to fight them Kouen was atop the wall alongside Eve as they had made a game of Who can get the better shot off.

Achilles and Odysseus where Doing there own stuff with troops as Ajax just went out the fort and Stood with the 2k troops Shouting at the Shimazu who had not even arrived yet But it did Rile the men up haha with all this done The shimazu appeared around 2 hours later as Houmai had around 10 of them Canister shot arrow ballista built and manned on the Walls as the Shimazu saw the 2k men out of the fort in a Line They believed the enemy wanted to fight with Melee and The shimazu general told his men to Charge the enemy force's outside the fort The archers would move up and Fire on the Walls as the enemy katana men charged the 2k soldiers under Genbou and Alongside Ajax a smoke screen appeared as the enemy charged Only for them to fall in Pit traps and Stake traps after about 5 minutes the smoke cleared to see many a men impaled as Genbou orderd for the Troops to charge as the Draconis Katana Samurai Charged the shimazu The enemy commander was shouting orders for the Bowmen to Fire on the enemy Infantry but as his orders where being Given a hail of arrows landed on them as the Ballista had fired and the archers to on the Forts walls.

As this happened a Flaming Arrow was sent up as the Shimazu commander saw that he Looked behind him for ambush troops But instead of behind They came from the Side's as Kaine and Futai had rush'd out and charged the enemy from there hiding place's Renpa had taken 500 cavalry and Open'd the gate as he charged out in to the shimazu battle lines The battle was now 1 sided How ever Ryjin and None others Knew they where being watched By many a Hidden eyes all writing in scrolls and such -These where Ninja in the Employ of many a Lords in Japan- Ryjin was in the Thick of the fight also as the Shimazu army had crumbled and Run but Renpa had chased them down and was going for there General.

Later that night after the battle area had been cleaned The generals all gathered and Looked at the Japanese Style armour and weapons They all agreed they where Amazingly made and well crafted much better than there own Ryjin was Listening and agreed the Japanese made some great weapons and armour Cant Dismiss that after a few days of Seeing such master work weapons and armour they also saw there architecture and culture and also agreed it was amazing they all said once they have there own house's and such they will mix and match the architecture and have there own Style This also made Renpa and some Want a special made weapon forged by these master Smith's Ryjin had thought that's a good idea he needs to take a City to do this So that was his next Target the nearby Shimazu City was now his Prime target he called them all in to the command hall.

Ryjin: ok are Target is the nearby Shimazu City that place shall have smith's architects and many new things for us to learn and see But the shimazu wont let it go easy Infact they will defend it to the last That's the type of people the Shimazu are do you all understand.

Karin and Ribuko i want you 2 to Take 2 detachments and outfit them with Anti missile Cloth's we will need men Top move the war machines and also To take the enemy arrows as we near there wall's so we don't lose more men than we must -They nodded and went to do it-

Ryjin just told the rest to Gather the men and to Get ready and for them to take and use the Information Houmai and Renpa will bring back to set up plans.
