Chapter 3：Hold My Hand

Ella was terrified she couldn't move

she close her eyes for so long and when she open her eyes everybody's gone

she look around, she was scared she started shouting "HELLO!! is anybody out there.... please don't scare me like this....HELLO!! " she started crying but there was no tears

she wishes to disappear just like everyone, her eyes spotted somewhere she stops crying and she whispered to herself " Miles... "

she saw Miles standing far away from her, even if Miles was far from her she knows it was Miles

Ella started running and shouted "MILES!!" every steps she make to get closer to him, Miles was getting farther...

farther and farther

she started crying again but she keep on shouting Miles name

she stops running when she heard a loud knock

(knock - knock - knock)

Ella heard her mom's voice" Ella wake up your gonna be late"

"mom? " Ella whisper

Ella wonder, the voice is getting louder and louder, she close her eyes then open....

Ella woke up, her eyes are wide open her mother keep on knocking "Ella wake up already don't make me break your door" her mom was knocking for awhile now

Ella respond " yes... I- I'm awake " Ella realize that it was all just a dream

while walking to school she was spacing out, Ella didn't realize Mark was calling her " Ella Rose... hey... Rose... " he run as fast as he can and he hit her in the head

"Oww... who the hell... " Ella course, she didn't finish her sentence whe she saw Mark

"What was that for" she ask as she raise her voice. Mark just smile and started walking again

It was already break the three decided to stay in the room, Ella told the boys everything about her nightmare

"wait you... did you close your windows?" Miles ask Ella and so Ella wonder too if she closed her windows last night "I..... don't think so.. "

" hey young gal you should learn to close your windows or at least never open it again" Mark said while he was leaning on the window and close it.

he was concern of the girl and wonder

'what if someone climb and went in to your room'

'what if you catch a cold because you did not close your windows'

" okay... chill will you... let's stop talking about this already" Ella said

Miles change their topic " about our project, let's continue it later after class it won't take long since there's only few things left to do "

"yeah sure" Mark respond and open the window he closed a moment ago "agree?" he was referring to Ella

"of course I am" and so Ella Rose answer

the the three continued their project and they really didn't take so much time do be done

it's time to go home already Mark have to go to where his mother work is

while Miles and Ella are walking home they notice that someone's following them

Ella was scared, Miles can't bare seeing his best friend being scared— holding her tears

Miles reach for Ella's hand, he grab her hands for he know the girl very well

she might be tough in the outside but she's trembling inside

Ella Rose was surprise and look directly to his eyes— Mark smile at her

Ella Rose felt the warm of his hand she feel safe, she finally calm down

the two starting walking fast

they lost the man who was following them but Miles couldn't stop thinking who it was

Miles realize that his still holding Ella's hand and let go

Ella don't want to let his hands go but she knows she have to...

(after awhile of walking)

They arrived at their houses, but Ella on the other hand still can't stop thinking about Miles warmth on her hand

her cheeks are so red and her smile is as bright as the star

she also remember how Miles take his hand back it almost brake her heart knowing that they were just friends and they will always be just friends

Ella Rose also remember about her dreams

'why did I dream something like that.... weird' just usual she take a warm bath and dive to her bed but this time she didn't open her windows

Mark's mother ask him to come where she was working

it was just nearby so Mark agree even though his not close to his mother— his parents are divorced

Mark lives in his father they were also not close since his father remarried

When Mark arrive his mother's face brighten— she was happy to see his son, she ask him to eat dinner together they had a little chat

her mother had so much questions and Mark just keep on answering her questions but keep his poker face

after his mother ask billion of questions silent comes

her eyes on him and suddenly bring up another question "Are sure you don't wanna come with me in Japan?" Mark pause, he was about to get another bite of steak

he put the fork down and put his hands on his lap and finally look at his mother eyes, whole dinner he didn't met his mother's eye until now

" I knew it" he smirk " when will you stop...I've told you hundred of times, I'm not going... I will never go in japan, not with you... if you wanna go then go, cause this time.... no one's stopping you" his eyes are getting watery but his holding it " I won't no more"
