He thought, "Maybe Yve was right to leave me behind. No good would ever come by staying with me."

Vince didn't realize that he voiced out his thoughts and that Edward together with CONFERENCE were there looking at him.

"Why are giving up easily, Primo? That isn't like you." The youngest girl named Eybelle asked.

Vince was shocked to hear that code name and looked around trying to find the person who said that name until he saw Edward and the group of five from CONFERENCE.

"Secondo, why did you bring them here?" Vince asked Edward while approaching them.

"Primo, they have something to report to you. And they also want some answers." Edward explained.

"Primo, it wasn't Secondo's fault. We forced him into letting us talk to you. We want to know what is really happening." Slane, the one wearing an eyeglass and the oldest in the group, asked.

Vince didn't say anything as he was still thinking if he should tell them the group. This group of people are his most trusted group among CONFERENCE and to his luck, the best. They are even called the Alpha because of their superior skills among the rest.As he was debating whether to tell them or not, the remaining 3 members of Team Alpha are debating whether they did the right thing.

"I told you that Primo will get mad." Jaleb, the tallest among the four boys said.

"But we have the right to know. Primo can treat this as our preliminary investigation." Crysthe, the shortest among the boys and the naughtiest.

"Primo doesn't need to explain anymore because I can already guess who is the girl and I found a little background on the motive of this incident." Sylvan the youngest among the boys, said.

His statement made everyone so curious. Vince was also happy to hear this good news.

"What is it, Sylvan?" Vince asked.

"The motive is SkyMu. From the lady's personal computer, there was a trace of copying some files and those were about her future plans for SkyMu. There was also a bug installed in her music app." Sylvan explained.

"The music sheets on Primo's grand piano were also rearranged." Eybelle added.

"It's normal for the music sheets to be rearranged." Crysthe said.

"Yes, but when I tried to look at them, they were rearranged in a messy order. The song will worsen if you will play the music in accordance to its arrangement" Eybelle replied.

"Primo, from the marks in the study room, I can deduce that there were 2 intruders, both of them were male." Slane added.

"What makes you think so?" Edward asked.

"At the same time that the lady's computer was hacked, Primo's personal computer was also hacked." Slane answered.

"Were there any files copied?"Crysthe asked.

"What do you think about Primo, Crysthe?" Jaleb asked with sarcasm while Crysthe ignored him and just look at Slane for verification.

"Of course there was none." Slane answered.

"Okay, thank you very much for job well done, Team Alpha. Secondo will brief you on the things you need to do." Vince announced and signaled Edward to tell the truth to them.

"Primo, I think it would be better if we leave Crysthe here." Edward said.

"Why is that, Secondo?" Crysthe asked.

"Primo is tired from work and he also needs to rest. But for sure, he will not rest without a trustworthy bodyguard beside him." Edward explained.

"I will also stay behind then." Eybelle said.

"There's no need for you to stay, too, Eybelle. I need to do your best based on your skills to fulfill the mission, Secondo will give you." Vince said.

Looking sad and a little jealous, Eybelle had no choice but to comply with Vince's orders. Thus the rest of Team Alpha left together with Edward. Vince went back to the waiting area just outside the operating room with Crysthe beside him standing.

"Primo, can I ask you a question?" Crysthe asked.

"What is it?" Vince asked.

"Who is this lady inside that room?"

"She is the lady behind my strong and confident self." Vince answered.

"It's the first time that you called us for personal reason. Is she really that important to you?"

"Yes. Why, Chrysthe? You don't want to be part of this mission?" Vince asked out of curiosity.

"It's not like that." Chrysthe did his best to show the sincerity in his action through his actions. Somehow, this made Vince smiled as he never expected Chrysthe to react that way.

"I was just joking, Chrysthe." Vince said which calmed Chrythe.

"I tried. I tried to find out the truth about this without asking your help guys. It was fine with just small, baby steps as long as she was safe. But this incident agitated me and cut my patience short. I know that I need to get to the bottom of this to ensure her safety."

"So I guess she can be your Achilles heel?"

Vince looked at him, smiled and answered, "You can say that but I would prefer her as my source of strength"

With Vince's answer, Chrysthe was speechless and decided not to say anything else. He knows that Vince came to the right people and that they would never let him down. Their loyalty is with Vince first before the CONFERENCE.

On Edward's apartment, the rest of the team arrived and were talking about the information that Vince and Edward gathered so far. Edward handed the information to Slane, who is the leader of the group. Then each of them had their own responsibility.

"By the way, Sylvan, how did you know that Primo's important person is a lady?" Eybelle asked.

"Her personal computer and how she arranged her things. Somehow, the arrangement in Primo's study and kitchen were changed. There were also female toiletries." Sylvan calmly answered.

"Why Eybelle? Getting jealous that Primo has found someone special already?" Jaleb teased his little sister.

"Just stop it, Jaleb! Secondo might misunderstand."

Little did Eybelle knew that all of the members of Team Alpha and even Edward had already realized about her special feelings for Vince. Vince already knew about this but decided to act normal as he treats Eybelle as his little sister.

All members of team Alpha were discovered by Vince and was trained by CONFERENCE. Vince never expected these young people to be become exceptional beings in what they do. Giving them a new home and a new mission in life are the reasons why Team Alpha's loyalty has always been with Vince. They also like how Vince treats them. Despite holding the highest position in CONFERENCE, his attitude towards them is not bossy. Every time the teams of CONFERENCE have their gatherings, other teams would share about their tough missions and treatment by their superiors but Vince isn't like that.

And now that Vince, asked for their help for a personal matter, they were happy and psyched to help him. At the same time, though, they wanted to know more about this lady. The lady who is special in Vince's eyes.

"I hope Primo will introduce her to us." Jaleb whispered.

"Do you have any question, Jaleb?" Edward asked.

"No, Secondo. It's fine." Jaleb answered.

"Then you can now head out and do your respective missions." Edward announced.

"Yes, Sir!" Team Alpha responded and went on their separate ways.

Edward was then left alone in his apartment.

"Are you really sure about this, Bro? Do you really want Yve's issues to connect with Team Alpha's? Can you carry all the burden as Vincent Gray, Yve's King and Primo all at the same time?"

Edward said to himself as he worriedly look at the night sky. The sky that looks so calm and beautiful led by the full moon accompanied with trillions of stars.
