346 Thankful

It's obvious that after a month, Clara decided to stay and serve Vince within her capacity. This is the exact same reason why she has voiced out her thoughts in front of everyone in the surprise meeting.

"Primo, one of the traitors tried to talk me out to joining them." Clara reveals.

"Did they also tell you their plans and the people involved?" Vince asks her in front of the other executives and the former nods in confirmation.

"Then that's that. All of you may leave the room and order your team to be on standby. Clara and I have some data gathering to do." Vince is forceful on his statement that the trembling executives scram out of the room. 

Once the door is closed, Clara hands out an envelope to Vince.

"What is this?"

"The information I gathered about their plan." Vince reads the content and everything is so detailed that doing an ambush attack to the traitors will be like a walk in the park. 

"How did you get all of this?" 

"When they talked to me, I didn't reject them instantly. I said, I would think about it. I purposely drag them out and lay down some of the reasons why I was doubting them."

"This is amazing. To think they would easily fall into your trap…" Vince compliments the former lost female puppy he picked up and now a graceful young lady. 

"Well, the position and the missions you gave me helped a lot." Clara returns the recognition back to Vince.

Vince stays true to his words in his greatest offer to Clara. Clara and her team never killed people. As a matter of fact, Clara's team are comprises of young girls who experienced the same fate as her. Vince gives them missions like scouting and infiltration. Once they have gathered the data, they make their escape back to the base. Her team is also called the Team Disguise. As a way to protect their identity, they would wear silicone masks to alter their faces in mission. Even at the base, they would wear mask covering the other half of their faces. 

"You know that I would never betray you, Vince right?" Clara verifies if Vince still trusts her and removes her mask.

"Of course, I do. I'm truly thankful you informed me of their rebellion and that they have already started." Vince is truly grateful to her. He never thought that he would get a very loyal and trustworthy subordinated apart from Teams Alpha and Bravo.

Vince and Clara go over the information she had gathered. Some of these things might have changed because Clara didn't go with them. So to prepare an effective way to counter their plans, Vince has video called Team Alpha who are already on standby back in the country. 

"Primo!" They all greeted him except for Edward who threw a killing stare at him.

"Is there any problem, Edward?" Vince looked at his angry or troubled cousin. He's not sure on what to make of his face.

"Primo, if you only saw her face and how she broke down when she didn't see you at your office." Eybelle reports to her Boss in favor of her Young Madam.

"…." Vince couldn't give any response to them as he imagined Yve's face. 

'You caused her to worry again, Vince!' He scolded himself. 

"Where is she now?" 

"She's with Nyelle. Nyelle said they might be working on her school projects in the study. Why don't you talk to her first?" Edward makes a suggestion.

"I would love to do that but…" 

"I can talk to them first, Vince. Your wife is just like your mom. With Sylvan here we can easily plan for a counter response to the traitors." 

"Clara…"

"If what Eybelle's description of Yve was true, then couldn't focus on her studies. She might be using it as a diversion and greatly failing at that." Clara pushes Vince to talk to his wife.

"Primo, I can say that Young Madam is currently thinking that focusing on her role as a student and company CEO is the only thing she can do to help you. She's definitely feeling helpless." Sylvan's final words do the trick for all of them. 

Vince leaves them for a short while and heads back to his room at the headquarters to give Yve a video call using his other mobile device.

"Thank you for pushing him away from the topic at hand, Clara." Edward is truly grateful at her this time and for doing a good job in monitoring the movements of the executives at the headquarters.

"He wouldn't be able to focus also after making up for his faults to his wife. Worse, he would hurry things here and I might just get angry at his recklessness." Clara admits her reasons shamelessly making not only Edward but the entire Team Alpha laughing.

"That's true." 

Even if Edward and the rest of the team won't voice it out, Clara has longed earn their respect and trust. She remained loyal to the Vince and based her actions to how Vince would respond. She always takes Vince's judgment and feelings into consideration. They have agreed and known that Clara's firm resolute to their Boss is one of the thickest pillars of Vince's reign within CONFERENCE. As Edward and Team Alpha are with Vince all the time and with Team Bravo out on a different continent controlling it on their own, Clara holds the highest and toughest job in the headquarters. 

"So what did you find out about the traitors?"

Clara retells the sequence of events to them and sends them copies of the files as she speaks. 

"This is just an initial plan now. Things might have changed but Vince and I don't know which." Clara confesses to them.

"I know. However, I can only narrow it down to two possibilities. It will be tough for only Team Alpha and Team Disguise to handle this especially we still have to stay here and protect Young Madam and Miss Maddie." Sylvan sincerely informs them.

"Then we'll use the forces both teams can spare effectively and let Team Bravo spare us with some of theirs as well to fulfill the needed man power." Edward makes the conclusion and calls on the Team Bravo to join them .
