They drive towards one of Gray Group's companies took a while. Edward drove for about two hours before they reached the premises.

"This building is very far." Nyelle remarked.

"Yes. Normally, we start at the farthest sub-company going to the main branch." Edward explained.

Then Edward went out of the car and went to her side to open it for her. Vince saw this kind gesture and smiled inside his car. They arrived almost at the same time.

"Bro!"

"Vince."

"Good morning to the two of you. Let's talk around lunch time, Nyelle." Vince greeted them.

"It's okay."

"Let's go to the office first." Vince said and approached Edward.

He whispered to his cousin, "Congratulations!"

"Stop it, bro!" Edward blushed a little and Nyelle instantly understood what the boys are talking about.

With Vince in front, Nyelle followed and beside her was Edward whose arm is glued to her waist. The employees, this time, we're shocked to see the CEO's secretary with a woman and that the CEO was fine with it. Gossips and rumors are evident as they walk to the office.

"Who's the woman beside Secretary Edward?"

"Maybe she's his woman."

"Of course! Look at Sir Edward's arm around her waist."

"But why is Mr. Gray fine with it?"

"Don't you recognize her?"

"Why should we?"

"She's the rumored best friend of Mrs. Gray."

"That's why it's fine for Mr. Gray."

"So, there might be a chance that Sir Edward is treating her well because of Mrs. Gray."

"Have you ever seen Sir Edward treat a female just because she's close to the Boss? None right? There is definitely something between that lady and Sir Edward."

With a fierce look from Edward, the employees were forced to disperse and to continue their respective jobs.

"Don't mind them, Nyelle." Edward said.

"I understand them. They're just curious about my identity. They mean no harm." Nyelle answered.

"But it's not right to talk idly during office hours." Vince said and with this in mind, Edward called the Human Resource manager as well as the supervisor of the department they just pass by. Nyelle was worried for employees so she whispered to Edward.

"What are you planning to do with them?"

"Face the sanctions. If it was their first offense then it's going to be a seminar for them. If not, then the necessary punishments will be applied." Edward casually replied.

"You actually don't have to do that." Nyelle said when they reached the elevator.

"Nyelle, it's actually not just because it was you. It's part of the code of ethics that every employee should have. You know this right? You were once an employee of Cozy Bell after all." Vince explained.

Nyelle only nods as her answer.

Finally, they reached the office and Nyelle was instantly escorted to Edward's office.

"Stay here for a while. I'll open the laptop for you. You can do anything you want just don't open the folders. Some of them are cryptic which may contain the company secrets." Edward offered.

"Hmm…. okay. How long might your inspection take?"

"It actually depends on the personnel. Right now, I will still meet with the staff earlier before heading to the operations. Vince will probably begin the supervisors and managers' meeting without me." Edward explained.

"Okay. See you later." Nyelle replied and Edward went out of the office.

True to Ed's words, he later saw Vince walked out from his office bringing some folder with him and headed to the meeting room just beside the ones which Ed went in. Nyelle had nothing to do and since Edward offered the laptop, she accessed her social media account and took a selfie using the laptop's camera. She sends the picture to Yve who was quick to respond.

"You're with Edward and Vince?" She replied.

Nyelle looked around her to check if there was any spy cameras around which allowed her friend to know her location. Not noticing anything suspicious, she replied.

"Yes. But how did you know?"

Yve smiled at her friend's silly questions and replied,

"Gray Group's logo was captured in your picture. It must be one of their subsidiary companies."

Nyelle confirmed Yve's hypothesis. Her friend replied with a question.

"How was last night?"

It was now Nyelle's turn to smile at her friend's question. She replied with the details that happened last night, except she decided to keep the kiss a secret. She doesn't want to give Yve a chance to tease her. She received a video reply from her friend.

"CONGRATULATIONS!!...."

Yve said the other languages for the same word. Nyelle can't help but laugh at her friend's cute but sincere happiness. Then she noticed the background. Yve must have been working at the moment. To avoid disturbing her further, she didn't reply anything and just browsed other websites on the Internet using the laptop.

Just then, a uniformed staff knocked at the door. Thinking that it may have something to do with Edward's and Vince's meetings, she let the person in. The staff was a bit shocked yet she obeyed Nyelle and went inside.

"Is Sir Edward busy?"

Nyelle observed the lady who looked shy and meek. She seemed in need of help so she replied respectfully to her.

"I'm afraid yes but I can pass the message to him if you want." Nyelle offered.

"It's not actually a message. I just want to give him this USB and file. It's good that you are here as well. I don't want my name to be revealed so here you are. I entrust this to you." The woman quickly said and with trembling pair of hands, she handed the file to her.

'I know this is a company matter but the lady seemed to be afraid. This might be of urgency. It won't hurt to take a peek, right Nyelle?' She asked herself and after long debate she gave in to her curiosity.

She opened the folder and was shocked to see the contents. It was a record book of the supplies. One is of the same numbers while the other sheet showed a different one.

'Stealing of supplies? Or money?' She thought and without hesitation, she placed the USB in the laptop and opened the contents. It contained soft copies of other records which looked the same as the one she just saw. But one thing caught her attention. It was a video file. Knowing that this was of utmost secrecy, she walked to the door first and made sure that it was locked before returning to the desk. She looked for her earphones inside her back and connected it to the laptop. Lastly, she clicked the video and was horrified with what she saw.

"I need to tell them about this matter." Nyelle thought as she safely pulled the USB out and with the papers in her hands, she was about to go out when she thought of a better idea.

'Vince is currently in a managerial meeting. These people might be aware of these things and are trying to cover it up. Me, just showing there wouldn't scare them away. I think I should do a quick study on this information.' Nyelle planned and returned back to the desk. She sends a message to Edward.

"I discovered something of great importance to the company. But I still need to review these details at hand. Can you extend Vince's meeting?"

Without any further questions, Edward replied.

"I'm almost finished with my meeting. Once I get inside his meeting room, I can only prolong it for an hour. Will that be fine?"

She replied, "That will be fine. I think you and Vince will be able to figure out the rest."

Once the message is sent, she focused on the files at hand and printed the soft copies using the printer at Edward's office.

"Now Nyelle, you need to put into work the things you learned from Edward when he trained you shortly as a secretary." She said as she encouraged herself.
