41 Cat has an offer?

Today it would be different than before, Cat provided with the right opportunity for a bit of fun. I'm happy to give her a taste of her poison.

I scan the crowd. There were some of the regulars that I recognized and people with power that I don't. A group of young women part of a coven of some sort was sitting in the back. I saw concentrated aura meaning the power felt were probably artifacts. I'm guessing that they were the group Knight had mentioned before. The back booths were packed with older men playing chess, don't let them fool you. They are deadly but I don't think they want Cat. Next is the family zone with many families with children come and next to them were couples who were obviously more interested in each other eyes than anything going on around them.

Sometimes I wonder why Beth combines the diner and the auction area together. Then my eyes stop at Oliver who was sitting next to a disgusting sweet couple that held hands laughing and giggling in short secretive bursts. He was perfect.

I texted him offering up Cat on a silver platter just like what she did to my mother. A little passive magic wasn't going to hurt anyone.

"Knight" she purrs out making contact with his arm.

"I am rather busy," he said politely with hidden intent. "Do you want something? Is it important?"

It was interesting to see his carefully laid out words. I look up and Beth waved. I smirk. This was getting more interesting by the minute. I hardly could wait to see what happens next I can see how he could be amused all the time.

Her smiled falter that was for sure but she was a professional. Moments later she moved on pushing forward.

"I have a business deal. A job offer, a private investor wants a fantasy. You are in the business. The money is rather an impressive sum." she said draping over his alluring body. "Let's make it happen, Handsome."

"Really impressive" I mumbled but his silent spoke volume.

Moving over I slip a finger over the table and drew. Most beings only remember to be alert of active spells, they keep forgetting of the passive ones. Not that other witches or wizard you meet would use them as they are a bit complicated. Hence the remembering potion required. But I was a bit different.
