Chapter 51

'Thinking clearly, wouldn't Alina die if I wasn't here with her. Well, I don't know how much skilled she is as I hogged all the work.' He thought as she looked at her sad but cute face.

Her blue hair moving through the air. The moonlight shining on her eyes. She was extremely beautiful even by his standards alone. Alina who was still on his arms noticed he was staring at her.

"w..what are you looking at?"

"You, of course."

"D…Don't look at me, look ahead. I…I don't wanna fall from this height." She said looking elsewhere, her cheeks a bit red.

"haha…."

Atlas again jumped from a tall tree adding a bit more force using extra mana on his legs and smoothly landed on a cliff with a better view of the forest.

The green lush trees moving from the cold wind of the night. The half-moon lighting most of the dark areas. Generally, the area around the cliff which they were on.

"Now what?"

"…nothing…just relax."

He walked at the end of the cliff and sat there his legs hanging in the air. He turned to Alina and patted at the sit near him.

"Come on sit.." he said.

"wh…what about the village? What about the rest of those monsters.."

Atlas sighed and used his pull symbol on her, tugging her by his side.

"hey….." she shouted feeling his pull.

"As you said, we can't get more involved than this, trust the chief's son. I wouldn't just handle him the responsibility just like that (he checked his status using all-seer of course).

And the monsters, do you really think I would leave anyone behind…." He said turning to her.

"….No," she said with a small voice.

"So relax and chill for a second."

Alina finally nodded and sat with him gazing at the stars and the lovely half-moon. They stayed that way for many minutes, peace and serenity encompassing all around them. Alina slowly leaned on his shoulder as the windy breeze hit them ruffling their hair along the way.

She peeked at him for a second and went back to their stargazing. She knew why he was doing all this and thinking about the reason, the guilt and sadness which she was caging inside her started getting loose. Her eyes started getting blurry as tears started welling on her eyes. After her eyes couldn't amount her tears inside, a single tear dropped, with came all the soft cries.

"Sorry…you have to…see me…like this.." she said, sobbing.

"You must have really cared for them, didn't you?" he said, giving her his handkerchief.

"yes…yes they were…even it was…for a month. They really took ….good care of me…"

Atlas put his hand on her shoulder trying to ease her pain as much as possible. He couldn't do or say more than what he already said. The only thing he could do now was let her grief properly.

She cried, complained, screamed out her grief, her voice echoing all over the forest. After an hour and a half of crying and consoling. Alina finally calmed down.

"I have to be… stronger…" she said, pushing her tears away from his hanker.

"…..um, I'm ready to help you anytime, Alina," Atlas said.

"Thank you, more lives would have been…. lost if you weren't here ….tonight."

"Well, I'm glad that I could be helpful for my senior." He said in a bit of sarcasm.

"hehe…..I will die of shame if you called me a senior again and You pretty much handled it very well for your first Adventurer mission."

"You already know the reason why…" he said.

"I know, I know….all credit goes to your eyes but it also depends on the person who uses it. So take my praise here, will you? I don't want my confidence to go any lower you know."

"Thank you, I guess…." Atlas said, rubbing his white hair. It was his first mission as an adventurer and getting his first compliment after how much he did, he was happy in a certain way.

"So you can act cute sometimes huh…." Alina said with a smile blooming on her face.

Atlas put his hand down right away. After hearing her using the word 'cute' on him.

'I'm not 'cute' why use that word. Why don't use the word manly and strong and stuff…. Damn, I always hated the word 'cute' used upon me.'

"I suppose you are feeling ok now," Atlas said trying to change the topic.

"….yes, thank you for being with me and listening to all the…things I said…" Alina said, solemnly.

"But, don't mind me saying but this mission seemed pretty hard for a two-star Alibion adventurer."

"haa... this is how Alibion adventurer missions is but I think you are in some way right. It was hard, without you. So many people would have died already. It could have even lead to a 'Purge'."

"Purge?"

"Oh! You might not know about it. The 'Purge' is..."

BOOM!!!!!

Before Alina could speak more, something landed at their back out of nowhere, surprising both of them. Dust and pieces of earth spread everywhere, reaching them both. Atlas was fully shocked how the thing just landed near him, bypassing all his senses. Even now, he wasn't feeling anything dangerous. The only thing reacting now was his bloodline trying to warn him as much as possible.

"Purge….such a simple word but brings hell to those who it is constrained to." Said someone with a womanly but mature voice.

"…..Master??" Alina suddenly asked.

"what??....Master??" Atlas said in surprise.

"haha…..yes it is I…"

All the dust and debris gradually lowered down slowly revealing the person within, who Alina calls Master with such respect. From the height alone she looked tall, tall enough to reach six and a half feet. Her dark hair falling straight down up to her waist. Her red eye marveling at the white light of the moon and another covered by a black patch.

She was light in armor, only wearing some green leather suits which looked extremely tight, showcasing her C- cup melons and her wide and voluptuous ass. From his point of view. She had the biggest jugs of ass he had ever seen, even coming to a level near his own mother.

Her thick thighs and long legs could compel kings to do her bidding. They were that much seductive.

Looking at her whole body, Atlas gulped as he burned the image on his mind but the long and thick sword in her back made him think twice. The long and wide sword was wrapped up in bandages, giving it a forbidden vibe. He wanted to use "all-seer" on her but, thinking she was a friend, not an enemy, he refrained from doing so.

He didn't want an incident like with Joseph, suddenly getting punched out of nowhere.

"wh..what are you doing here master?"

"….to save you of course…..hmm...but that doesn't seem necessary I suppose." She said looking at her up and down.

"..."

Alina was quiet for a while in confusion when reality suddenly dawned on her.

"was this mission…a test?" she asked.

"Not a test but… a hard reminder for you. I hope you learned your lesson." She said folding her hands.

"…I see….." Alina said, realizing what her master was trying to say.

She looked at Atlas and took a long breath.

"I guess….I was the naïve one huh…" she said.

"I was just trying to make you tougher Alina….hope you understand."

"No Master, my own weakness is at fault. You were just doing this for my own benefit." She said.

'hmm….so she gave her a hard mission from the start, knowing she would fail, giving her learn a new lesson in the process. That's pretty hardcore if I have to say, she was one inch away from depression a while ago. Well…that might just be me being naïve in their eyes if I said it out loud.

So she would eventually come if Alina's life was really in danger. I mean damn…talk about mentoring someone to this level. If I think about it, if I didn't have my eye I would have died the night I came here…aaa…that just sent a shiver to my bone, Fuck…'

"So who's this new fellow?" the woman asked looking at him with curious eyes.

"oh…let me introduce you both. Mr. Prince, she is called Joana, my Master who I was talking about and this is Mr. prince who was newly admitted to Alibion, just yesterday."

"I see…a newbie huh. A newbie who saved your ass." Joana said, looking at her disciple with crude eyes.

"he…he is a black-star. So..so it is fine."

"oh really, show me your mark boy," she ordered.

'What? Me… a boy? Should I show him how much of a man I am…..wait no, no I don't want another woman clinging on to me. There are already plenty enough.' He thought, controlling his lust aura to the limit and concealing it with technique.

He showed his black one-star on his palm, surprising Joana for a second.

"it's really true…..it seems Albion will be in good hands in the future." She said proudly.

"hey! Why don't you be my disciple?" she suddenly asked.

"Sorry, but I'm taken.."

"huh? by who? I will kick his or her ass if…."

"It's the devil's witch," Atlas spoke….interrupting her midway.

The moment Joana heard the word Devil's witch. She backed downed taking a step back.

"hmmm…..I see."

Alina who became happy for a second was again dejected after seeing her master backing away. She knew her master was too single-minded to care about others so she was surprised in a way, seeing her back away from that bitch's name.

"But Master??" she said in a small voice.

Joana turned to her and sighed.

"you didn't even learn a bit even after living close to her for months?" she asked in a bit of disappointment.

"...." Alina said nothing and looked at her in confusion.

"haa….I guess I have to give you a proper lesson when we get back." She said.

"Ahem….change of topic, looking at most of the alive villagers and our adventurers, it seems, you both passed the mission."

"No, Master!! All credit goes to him, I really did nothing at the end, dangering this mission, binding myself from my own emotions. I don't want any recognition in this!!" she shouted.

"No Alina, you have been here for months. You should at least take half the….."

"hahahaha…." Joana laughed in a seductive manner, interrupting Atlas.

She came near her and patted her shoulder.

"Good, if you have taken a single credit. I would have thrown you out of Alibion, right away." She bellowed, looking deep into her eyes.

'What the fuck? Kick her out? This woman is nuts…' he thought.
