49 Change of plan

"Mm." Yin closed her eyes and contemplated over something.

The dark-haired man waited patiently for further inquiries, but none came. Finally, he decided to break the silence.

"Are you going to tell your favorite Yang about this?" He teased.

This caused her to give him an annoyed look.

"Fine, let me rephrase it. Are you going to share this intel to the Fire Clan?"

Now she looked at him as if he had a hole in his brain.

"Don't look at me like that. I was just asking out of curiosity. You seem to be so keen to help him and by telling him about the schemes of Leviathan, he and his clan would be washed clean of the crime. Of course, you would find it hard to explain how you recieved the information, especially since you had been trapped in the Mortal Realm all these years..." He defended himself.

"Nevermind. Shall we continue with our original plan?" He continued with a cheery attitude.

"No. Changes of time requires changes of plan."

An Ice Chair appeared from the thin air and landed beside them. Gracefully, Yin sat down on it in preparation for a long discussion.

Seeing that he was left without a chair, the dark-haired man's mouth pulled itself together in displeasure before he complained.

"Hey, Ice Flower! Why don't I have a chair to sit on?"

She responded by moving her arm in a swiping movement.

"So mean." He grumped before landing on the soft grass and lying comfortably on his back with his right leg over the left.

"At least I won't freeze my butt off like this." He picked up a grass straw and played with it with his mouth for a while before continuing.

"Tell me, what's your brilliant idea?"

The Ice God then began to share her intrigue, while the dark-haired man added some of his own suggestions to it. It was quite an interesting plan, but many dangers were present. Both of them were aware of the possible consequences of failure.

After a hour or two, they were finally done with everything and it was time for them to part.

"Good luck now, Ice Flower. Let's meet up again according to the usual schedule, alright?" The dark-haired man grinned.

She nodded and hestiated for a while, before adding.

"Thanks."

With that said, she teleported away and left behind a stunned man who never thought that he would ever hear that word from her.
