2 Celestial palace II

When Yang saw Ying, he left his seat while his parents were busy speaking with the Wind High God. Since the Celestial Emperor had yet to arrive, no one frowned upon his actions. Some immortals who had enmities with the Fire Clan felt schadenfreude knowing that a good show was about to begin. Others felt worry over the troublemaker.

He sneakily approached the seated young miss from the back and threw out a Fire-infused punch. Yang was only a 933 years old minor God. In the eyes of the old geezers, an immortal of his age was a mere infant in an adult's body.

Nevertheless, his attack was still quite fierce. He was afterall a prodigy in the arts of Fire magic and undefeatable among his peers. For ordinary minor Gods in his age, they would have no way of defending themselves, especially from the back.

However, Ying was not just somebody. Even if she was only 1056 years old, she was the pride of the Ice Clan. It wasn't only for her looks and intelligence, but also for her brilliance in the arts of Ice. Therefore, she hadalready anticipated the strike and causally blocked it with her Ice Wall.

The vibrations and noices of the collusion were transmitted through the air, which alerted everyone in the hall. Yang was angry over his failure and thus ignored the surroundings. His sole target was Ying, whom he had never ever defeated. This time, he was determined to succeed.

He morphed a Flame sword and stabbed towards the Ice Wall. Without even glancing over her shoulder, Ying strengthened the wall at the place where she calculated the sword would land.

True to her calculations, Ying's sword clashed right at the thickened place, which caused sparks to erupt. Realising that he once again failed, he kept swinging his sword in rage. Each and every time, the Flame sword was unable to destroy the wall, which only caused him to lose it even more.

Outside Yang's self-centered bubble, the audience could clearly see the difference between the two younglings. Yang lost his calm to quickly and acted to rashly, while Ying had everything planned out.

With each strike, Ying moved her barrier closer to Yang, to limit his swinging range unless he chose to retreat. Based on Yang's personality though, he would most likely never concede. Thus Yang was obviously at the losing end.
