Chapter 3 - What Werewolf? You're A Werepom!

Alpheus closed his eyes, and his body magically shrank until he was just the size of a doll, his body was full of black fur, and he looked up at the lord of the house with a happy doggie expression, complete with his tongue stuck out a bit.

That wolf man suddenly transformed into a black Pomeranian.

"I can transform into this form, Sir!"

Junshik grabbed his phone and called someone.

"Hello? Animal Control Service? I have a wild dog problem here."

"Wha!" The black Pomeranian Alpheus tried to jump with his little feet to stop Junshik from informing someone else about his whereabouts.

He didn't know what the lord of the house used to communicate with the other person, but in his world, people with high magic affinity could just use telepathy to communicate.

So he thought this handsome man was a high-ranked wizard like his Uncle.

Alpheus tried to jump, but he couldn't even climb on Junshik's long leg because he was in Pomeranian state.

So he just nibbled on Junshik's toes instead, hoping it'd hurt enough for him to stop communicating with other people.

Cha Junshik looked down at the black Pomeranian nibbling on his toes. It didn't hurt at all. It was kinda ticklish. Junshik realized that Pomeranian Alpheus didn't want to hurt him. It was just a warning… a ticklish warning, though.

"Huh? Yeah, it's a wild dog, currently ripping my leg," Junshik reported.

"Arf! Arf!" Pomeranian Alpheus barked like a real dog, trying to show his fiercest gaze because he didn't want the one communicating with Junshik to realize that he was actually a werewolf.

"Huh? What do you mean I don't sound like someone in pain? The wild mutt is viciously chewing my leg right now. Awww, it hurt…." Junshik said lifelessly.

Pomeranian Alpheus got even more worried when the conversation continued. He was told to hide in whatever place he landed because they didn't know if those vampires would trace him and attack him while recovering from internal injuries.

"Ah, what kind of dog breed?" Junshik looked down at the black Pomeranian depressingly. He really thought he would see something cool today. At least it was something straight out of werewolf movies.

But what he got was a disappointing, cute dog instead.

"It's a black pom," Junshik replied. Then he heard the reply of the animal control service admin and frowned, "Huh? What do you mean there is no such thing as a wild Pomeranian? Do you think they're harmless?! This one is very vicious!"

"Just come here and take this mutt away from me—Hello? Hello?!"

The call was cut off from the other side. Junshik clicked his tongue and threw the phone on the bed.

Pomeranian Alpheus sensed that Junshik had finished his communication with the other high-ranked wizard, so he finally spoke again full of protest, "Sir, why would you report me?!"

"Because you're a disappointment! What Werewolf? You're a Werepom!" Junshik rolled his eyes.

Of course, what Alpheus did was magical, but it was no more magical than him falling out of a portal.

But Alpheus just crushed his imagination of a strong dire wolf in an instant.

"Wuu…" Pomeranian Alpheus lowered his head. He didn't know what this man expected right now. Did he really think that Alpheus could turn into a dire wolf easily?

Cha Junshik wasn't as impressed as he thought he would, but he still had to credit this werepomeranian for showing his ability in front of him.

"Anyway, you can turn back into a human. The landlord doesn't allow a pet. If someone saw or heard you barking, they'll kick me out as well."

"S—Sir, I—I cannot turn back into human…."

"D—Don't worry, Sir. It's a temporary effect. I can return to my human form after twelve hours."

"TWELVE HOURS?!" Junshik facepalmed. He didn't expect the already disappointing werepom to be more problematic than he expected, and they weren't even together for more than thirty minutes.

Cha Junshik sighed and patted the bed with his left hand, "Sit here, and we'll talk about whatever happened just now. So far, you don't impress me at all."

"Wuu…" Pomeranian Alpheus' ears drooped, but he obediently followed the order from the lord of this house, and he tried his best to jump from the floor to the bed.

But it was too high for him, not that his short leg as a Pomeranian was any help at all.

Pomeranian Alpheus was depressed. He didn't dare to tell the lord of the house that he couldn't climb the bed at all.

"Can't climb the bed?" Junshik asked.

"Cannot… I'm sorry, Sir…."

Cha Junshik sighed and picked the Werepom from the ground. Alpheus stretched his body, so the lord of the house could pick him up.

Junshik put Alpheus beside him and then continued his investigation, "Stop giving me that pitiful look, now answer my question first."

"Woof! I—I mean, yes, Sir!" Alpheus replied.

Cha Junshik had a lot of questions in his head, but for now, he had one question this Werepom needed to answer.

"Tell me about your origin. You said that the vampires are hunting you, right?"

"Yes, Sir! I'm here to stay for some time, Sir!" Pomeranian Alpheus replied.

"Then there must be a reason for it. Tell me the reason why did they chase you?"
