Chapter 245 - Miller Restaurant's Walking Billboard

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Back at the Miller's restaurant, Crystal and Dixie didn't dare to go upstairs in fear of seeing or hearing something they shouldn't, so they could only occupy one of the tables while waiting for Dixie's mother to leave.

Of course, they had no idea that the two ladies had just discovered that they both shared a passion for Ludo, and were happily passing time while 'waiting for Crystal to return' so they could discuss the 'crucial matter' with her.

One was the daughter of the restaurant owner, while the other was the heiress to the franchise. Who would dare to ask them to leave even if they didn't order anything for hours?

Even when Emilia arrived, neither Dixie nor Crystal could hide their strange expressions.

As the redhead approached, Crystal immediately shot up while smiling awkwardly. "W-Why don't we head to Dixie's place to study today?"

The dark-haired girl nodded. "Uh, right. T-This place is a little crowded anyway."

Emilia paused. "Is something wrong? What's with that strange look?"

Dixie and Crystal stared and each other, and for once, their thoughts aligned. How nice would it be if there was a way to erase memories? Just the thought of what their respective mothers could be doing upstairs made them shudder…

Well, although that was impossible, they definitely couldn't taint Emilia's mind with their 'discovery'.

Emilia may not be related to the two older ladies and may not even care, but wouldn't it be mortifyingly embarrassing for her to know?

Unaware of their thoughts, Emilia shook her head with a smile as she slid into the opposite bench. "Relax and take a seat, you two. I'm not going to be able to stay to learn today, anyway. Just came by to see how the two of you are doing."

"Eh?"

"Is everything okay?"

Emilia coughed. "W-Well, a lot of things happened. I need to go back to take care of my big sister tonight. She already had back problems, so I was planning to give her a massage for quite some time. And then, our date today didn't end well… I have to make sure she's doing good."

Crystal's face turned red at the word massage as she recalled her time together with Emilia. Obviously, what the two sisters would be doing wouldn't be the same, but she couldn't help but be a little envious in her heart.

It hadn't even been that long, and Crystal wished Emilia would give her another 'massage'. In fact, it would be for the best if it became a routine thing.

The blonde girl blushed furiously while hiding her face from Emilia's shining eyes. 'O-Oh no, I'm becoming so spoiled and perverted!'

Meanwhile, Dixie was left scratching her head in confusion. "Emily… is your big sister really having back problems? In her twenties?"

The redhead frowned. "Hm? I guess she must be stressed out, and maybe had a bad sleeping posture?"

Cynthia could only sigh at the naïvete of her villainess. "Emilia, how can you be so clever and still not realize that the sis-con was just being a pervert?"

Emilia blushed. 'Huh? Is my dear partner finally complimenting me again?'

The raven-haired girl rolled her eyes. "You're focusing on the wrong thing… again."

'Mhm, well… couldn't she have just asked? It's not I would say no…'

Cynthia sighed, suddenly feeling very grateful that the mortals didn't realize just how 'generous' her villainess was, or all she would see would be continuous mating. All day, every day.

Just the thought caused her to shudder and run away into isolation, leaving her partner dumbfounded at the unexpected 'click' of their connection.

Meanwhile, Samantha's image turned from a beautiful big sister to an elderly lady with back problems in their minds.

Dixie frowned as she noticed another problem. "By the way, what did you mean by 'our date didn't end well', princess?"

In her opinion, wasn't it already good enough for anyone that her princess was looking their way? How could they not be satisfied?

Had she not met Emilia's older sister in person, she would have started to doubt if the girl was unhinged. But knowing that Samantha admired her princess just as much as she should only made Dixie more confused about the whole thing.

Emilia groaned. "Ahh, it makes me upset just thinking about it. Today, some creep tried to sabotage our date, and almost succeeded in hurting her."

Dixie's face immediately turned cold. "Was he caught?"

The dark-haired girl couldn't help but regret the fact that she wasn't there to help her princess when it happened. Maybe she should have insisted on following her, but then again, her princess told her to stay with Crystal…

Crystal clutched her palm nervously. "A-Are you okay?"

Emilia grinned. "Of course, who do you think I am? Anyway, yes, don't worry. Noelle caught him."

Dixie frowned. "Can I—"

The redhead shook her head ruefully. "Hush, I know my knight is very protective, but that guy is already dealt with, understand?"

Dixie could only sigh and nod reluctantly. "I-If you say so, Emily."

Just keeping the rage off her face took all her willpower. If not for not wanting to ruin Emilia's mood, maybe Dixie really wouldn't be able to keep her temper in check.

Although the dark-haired girl wanted to say that she just needed to look at who was so daring, she really couldn't promise not tearing the bastard limb from limb. 'How dare he put my princess in danger?!'

"Good girl." Emilia smiled as she caressed Dixie's calf with her little toe, making the girl gasp as her face turn red, all her rage evaporating instantly.

Crystal looked away, pretending not to notice anything as she observed the surroundings. 'What's going on under the table? I definitely don't know.'

The surroundings were much more interesting, yes. As expected, there were a lot of people glancing at their table from time to time, especially after Emilia's arrival.

A trio of beautiful girls of course attracted a few eyes, or so many would think, but Crystal knew the truth.

In reality, many people came to this place just to see the sight they were seeing right now.

It was already an open secret that Emilia White frequented this restaurant, and so did some of her closest friends. Thus, to say that almost half of the traffic here originated from people hoping to see the girl for themselves wouldn't be an exaggeration at all.

Thankfully, the strict security around the place deterred any thoughts of harassment, though those who appeared to be suspicious wouldn't be allowed entry anyway.

But that being said, with the way Emilia behaved, Crystal was sure that some of the creeps must already have a few images of her showing affection to either Dixie or herself. After all, while they couldn't bring cameras inside, they could still covertly snap a few images using cellphones, as long as they were careful.

Thankfully, Emilia never did anything too strange in the restaurant, and no strange rumor had surfaced due to this place either. Though Crystal wasn't sure how much of it was due to the White Deer Corporation's influence.

The blonde couldn't help but sigh. 'Well, everyone else is at least being subtle about it. Why is this girl just standing there staring unblinkingly at— Wait, isn't that Michelle?'
