Chapter 58 - First Day

"Are you, Mr. Dan, the person in charge of the theme park project?"

"Yes."

"The higher-ups are waiting for you at the meeting room. Should I take you there?"

"Yes, Thank you. I don't know where the meeting room is."

As Dan opened the door to the meeting room, Dan saw a couple of middle-aged people there already waiting for him.

"Hello, Mr. Dan. I am Levi, one of the executives at the branch company. We have been waiting for you to start the meeting."

"Sorry for making all of you wait."

"It's nothing, we just got in here ourselves."

"Ok, then let's begin the meeting."

As Dan was having the meeting there were people from other companies coming to see if they got picked.

One of those people happened to be Lily, her dad, and her fiancee.

"Harry, are you sure that we can get the theme park project?"

"Of course uncle. Dad said that he knew a couple of higherups people from the branch company. He said that he has already asked them for help."

"Ok, I will go thank him tomorrow."

While shifting his gaze towards Lily, he said, "There's no need. We are already family."

"Haha yes of course. It's too bad that your dad's company can't participate in this project."

"Yes, we already have another big project and we can't take on 2 of these big projects at a time."

As they were talking about that, Dan was listening to the higher-ups of the branch company recommending some companies to work with.

Levi suggested the Avalon company which was the company owned by Lily's Dad.

Dan ended the meeting saying that he would look at the proposition of the company and decide which companies would work in this project.

After waiting for about an hour, Dan saw that most of the people from the companies that wanted a piece of this project were here so Dan decided to just go in and look.

Dan went in and talked to some of the people and asked some questions about their companies. He just said that he was an employee and was told to ask some questions.

As Dan was going around, asking questions, he saw Lily in the crowd.
