Chapter 22 - Auctioning The Pills

'I am not stupid enough to give all of the 15 pills to you or else who knows, you might try to take it and run away. He probably wouldn't try knowing I am an alchemist but who knows, greed might get the better of him.'

While Dan was thinking that, the owner was really mad. 'Darn it, if he wasn't an alchemist and if he wasn't stronger than me, I could have taken all of his pills. I still want his pills but I can't tell what cultivation stage he is in meaning he is stronger than me and as an alchemist, he probably has foundation stage followers. I should just give up. My life is still worth more than those pills.'

In 2 days, the entire village was filled with the news of the pills that could even bring a person on the brink of death back to life and unlike 11 months ago, this time there would be more than 1 pills.

It is said that one of the pills would even be tested to make sure that there is no doubt about the effects of the pills and if the powerful families see the effects for themselves they would be willing to use a lot of their treasures and armors to get the pill.

Think about it no matter how good an item is, it is worth nothing compared to another item that could save your life.

Dan changed his face and went to the auction hall. The owner took him to one of the private rooms. Dan gave 17 more healing pills to the owner telling him that 2 of the healing pills could be taken as a commission as the pills would be traded for items and not money.

The auction began with some simple items and Dan didn't manage to find anything good so he didn't bet for anything.

As the ending drew near, the healing pills were finally auctioned.

The auctioneer started to speak saying, "For the last items in the auction, they will all be healing pills. 10 of them will be auctioned individually and 5 of them will be auctioned in one batch. For the pills, you can only use items that can be used immediately or very good armors."

As soon as the auctioneer finished her words, people already started to bid.
