3 Tattoo

"Big brother Marcel, you said that you will be leaving today" Liam said with a pout.

'Eagle, what time frame am I in?' Lulu asked.

[You arrived just when the previous host was turning 18.] Eagle replied. Lulu was surprised because to a certain extent she thought that Eagle was a figment of her imagination.

She thought about the circumstances of the time she was currently in and thought that leaving would be the best thing she could do if she wanted to change her living circumstances. She did not want a repeat of what happened in the life of the previous owner.

"You're going to leave me?" Liam asked as he looked at Marcel with his big brown eyes.

"No baby i'm not, I have to go to find a life for myself. Once I'm successful i'll come back for you" Lulu replied as she patted Liam's head.

She had seen the women who were her age have children when she was busy filming movies and she could not help but want a child of her own. So seeing Liam had activated the maternal instincts she had and she couldn't help the guilt she felt when she told Liam that she would not be able to care for him any longer.

"Big brother, you have something on your neck" Liam said as he traced a finger on the tattoo that was on her neck.

"Really? What is it?" Lulu asked curiously,

"It's a tattoo, of an eagle. It's on the back of your neck" Liam said and looked at Lulu strangely.

"When did you get it? You didn't have it when we went to sleep" Liam asked suspiciously.

"I didn't think you would find it, don't tell the headmaster or i'll get in trouble" Lulu said as she put her acting skills to the test. Rather than say she did not know about it. It was more believable to say that she was hiding the tattoo. Liam looked at her strangely but did not ask anymore questions.

"I'll go wash up first" Lulu said as she stood up from the floor and left the room to go the bathroom that was shared among the children that slept in the same floor.

She carried her towel and her other supplies before leaving the room. Liam was puzzled but he did not say anything. He could only watch as Marcel's broad back disappeared behind the door.

Lulu quickly went to the bathroom and locked herself inside. She put her things on the sink and looked at her reflection on the mirror that was in the bathroom. She was stunned once more. When she used the mirror in the bedroom it was still dark, but the lighting in the bathroom was very different. She could clearly see her smooth blemish free skin and the golden specs in her green eyes.

"This boy is too handsome, no, he is too beautiful" Lulu said as she clicked her tongue in admiration. She turned her neck to the side and was able to see a part of the tattoo that Liam had talked about. She could see part of the wigs which were black and had red highlights. It looked very eye catching.

"Eagle, did you tattoo yourself on my neck?" Lulu asked as she tilted her head around to try and see the tattoo.

[Yes] the reply came without any further explanations.

"Why?" Lulu asked with furrowed eyebrows.

[It was the only way to transport you to this body] Eagle replied.

Lulu did not say anything after that. She knew that she had a lot of things to learn about the necklace she had worn. Since Maxia had not even told her the basic details of their products, she did not know anything. At the moment, she should think about how she was going to survive after getting out of the orphanage. As she was thinking of this, she caught a glimpse of her reflection.

'Even if I stand on the side of the road, someone will pick me up. This face is even better than the one I previously had.' Lulu thought arrogantly before she stripped off her clothes and got in the shower. As she was showering she continued conversing with Eagle.

'What year is this?' Lulu asked.

[It's 2015] an answer came.

'This is still earth right?' Lulu asked cautiously.

[No, it's an alternate universe with properties that are very similar to Earth]

'How did you end up in the year 2365 from 2790?' Lulu asked still standing under the shower without doing anything.

[My owner got transported to your world when he died in 2790. Even then he had only managed to make only me. He had told his friend about me and was soon betrayed by him. He was killed and his body was completely maimed. I was designed with the ability to bring a person back to life even if there is a 0.5% chance of survival, and I can only transport your soul to another body once, unless you have been able to atleast live your second life to the age you died in your first one.]

'How old is this body?' Lulu asked.

[18] Eagle answered.

'So I have almost another twenty years. Not bad, she wouldn't mind trying to live the life of a man'

'Besides resurrections and soul transfers what else can you do?' Lulu asked.

[I'm equipped with a large variety of skills that can be taught to the host].

'Really?' Lulu asked surprised. In her time system literature was very famous and a lot of movies and series were made based on the plot.

She had even acted in some, but even then it was considered science fiction because no one had been able to develop a device that can directly implant skills and memories into someone's brain. Infact, any research in that direction was banned due to the risks that existed.

What if the president had a system and they got hacked? Unlike the movies where they were sent from a superior entity, those would be made by humans. It was too risky and as interesting as it sounded, it was completely forbidden to pursue any research in that direction.

"Was it legalised later?" Lulu asked.

[No, it was not. I'm the only one in existence at the moment the other two Falcon and Sparrow were just prototypes that weren't further developed]

"What about Maxia?" Lulu asked.

[They made a fake. What they are selling is a gadget that creates an additional protective layer on top of someone's skin to minimise injuries. Basically it's a shield. It does not cover even one percent of my capabilities].

Lulu did not just hit a jackpot. This was like a pie falling from the sky. It was a one of a kind invention. A treasure had been handed to her by completely ignorant people. She could feel her mood improve and ended up laughing loudly from happiness.

Lulu picked up the shower gel and pumped it onto her loofa before scrubbing her body. As she was washing she became hyper aware of the difference between her previous body. She touched her now flat toned chest and flat stomach. When she saw the organ between her legs she couldn't help but avoid looking at it for too long. She was still a girl at heart.

After her shower she quickly brushed her teeth and went back to the bedroom.
