3 The Supreme Game System

Peter ran down the hallway. A sharp look was taking hold of his face as he desperately searched for a button to trigger the fire alarm. Runner A, Runner B, Runner C ... WHERE WAS THAT DAMN BUTTON ?!

Running for another few minutes he finally found it. Beside the door leading to the bathroom was that red button. He ran toward the button as if his life depended on that, Peter removed the safety glass and without wasting time pressed the button.

*Alarm

The doors began to open and the students left their classrooms with a confused look on their faces. It was not very common to have this alarm triggered, after all there were 4 people with water power working at that school, any threat of fire would be neutralized within minutes.

"What? Where's the fire? "

"Was it someone who wanted to make funny?"

"If it was I do not know, but it came in good time, this class was hell."

Whispers scattered everywhere, Peter stepped forward and started running toward the exit, however ...

His arm suddenly caught, the one who grabbed him had tremendous strength, it was as if Peter's arm was paralyzed, he could not move it even an inch.

"So it was you, was not it, Peter?"

"Teacher?"

"You make yourself clever, but I knew you were the type to make fun, I hope you know what the punishment is for those who hit the fire alarm for no reason."

"The school was invaded !! Is that a good enough reason ?! "

"Hahaha, who's going to want to break into a C-class school like this? I am the only one who saves the reputation of this school, if it were for me all you junk would be expelled immediately. "

"YOU FOOL!!!!!"

At that moment a mass of dark energy began to swallow all the school grounds, all the buildings, corridors and blocks were being consumed at an alarming rate, Peter tried to escape, but the teacher still held his arm and prevented him from leaving.

The two were hit hard by the mass of energy.

Peter flew a few feet and crashed into the wall spitting some blood, but his teacher was thrown against a window that broke the moment he collided with his body.

The teacher was thrown out of the building and his screams echoed throughout the campus followed by the sound of his body falling to the floor. Peter was not happy about that after all they were on the 5th floor and his teacher did not know how to fly.

He just shook his head, his teacher at most would have a few broken bones, his main priority now was to find Marcus.

No one else acted unconcernedly, everyone rushed toward the exits as fast as they could, some carrying the bodies of their unconscious friends, but most just ignored the fallen people.

Peter was one of them, but he was not running away but getting to the root of the problem.

Down the stairs it was not long before he got to the gate, even before he got there he could hear the screams of desperation from the people running. As he passed the door his eyes widened and he opened his mouth in disbelief.

Countless black dragons circled the school skies and spat black energy balls everywhere, anything that came into contact with those energy balls was instantly transformed into ashes.

Its huge wings beat causing gusts of wind that would be able to knock down even houses.

It was possible to see even some of the most fragile buildings collapsing as if it were nothing, Peter stared into the chaos that settled in, he frowned and began to race against the tide of students running toward the gates.

He ignored her fatigue, the wounds he gained no longer ached, the adrenaline rushing through his body as his speed increased.

It was not long before he reached the front porch of the main building. Kicking the door he looked around and up the stairs, his thoughts clear, his veins pulsating and sweat trickled from his forehead.

When he reached the second floor, he quickly opened the door and came upon a man, a tall man with long red hair, a huge scar on his cheek, and his sharp eyes scowling at the figure he held ... it was Marcus .

The man paid attention to the boy in his hands, so it took time to react when a fist appeared in his field of vision and struck his face.

BANG

The man let Marcus fall to the ground and took a few steps back. Peter wasted no time, he rushed toward the now stunned man and knocked a knee to his face.

BANG

The man was struck and it was even possible to see a few drops of blood falling to the ground.

"I got it? I got it..."

Peter was about to celebrate, but the man suddenly grabbed his left foot and with a twist of his hand he shook Peter's body and hit him against the wall.

"Damn ... you really scared me kid. If you had used a skill I would probably have fainted on the first hit. "

Even though Peter could not hear him, the man continued to speak.

"But anyway ... if even without a natural ability you're so strong, how strong would it be if you used it?"

He looked at Peter for a few seconds.

"... wait a little, did not you use it because it's a useless skill? Hahaha now everything makes sense ...! Seriously what a waste. "

The man stepped toward the hitherto unconscious Peter and with a wave of his hand a white stone appeared in his hand.

"This is a Power Stone, there are not many of them in the world ... I would not have used it on another occasion, but you seem to be a promising youngster. "

The man looked at the stone in his hand again and immediately after looking at Peter, with a strange smile he pressed the stone against Peter's chest.

"Grow up kid ... and come try to stop me."

The stone swayed for a few seconds and soon after began to be absorbed by Peter's body.

The space began to twist again, the woman suddenly appeared next to the man and watched him in silence. The man smiled, looked at the woman and moments later disappeared into the air turning into black particles.
