Cole was much heavier than Anita. With his body full of fat, Anita could not push him away.

Anita could only clutch the door frame with both hands and scream loudly while hoping that an attendant would pass by and see this.

Cole could not move her no matter how hard he tried. He was a little anxious. He had drunk some wine, so he wasn’t as strong as usual.

So he wanted to use another approach to persuade Anita. “Aren’t you just an ordinary female student? Don’t worry. If you follow me, I won’t treat you badly.”

Anita couldn’t care less about what Cole was saying. She just kept crying for help.

“Anita, come in. Your studies will be smooth sailing in the future. Don’t you care about your mentor the most?” Cole said.

But Anita couldn’t hear a word of what he said. She just kept shouting for help.

But gradually, Anita’s cries for help became a little softer. After drinking two glasses of wine today, she was already feeling a little dizzy. After struggling for so long, her head felt dizzy, and her body felt weak. Anita had the feeling that she might not be saved tonight.

Suddenly, Cole, who was holding her, released his hand. His fat body swayed a few times and fell to the ground. Anita was frightened and hurriedly turned around to run.

“Anita, don’t be afraid. It’s me.” Owen put his arm around Anita reassuringly.

So it was Owen. Anita’s savior had finally appeared.

Owen saw Anita trembling, so he took off his jacket and covered her body. “Anita, stand aside and wait for me.”

Owen walked toward Cole and kicked him again. Cole struggled to stand, but couldn’t.

Then, Owen took a few steps closer, squatted down, and grabbed Cole’s collar. He punched him a few more times. “You bastard, you’re a disgrace. A few punches is considered light,” Owen scolded as he hit him.

Anita was afraid that Owen would get arrested if he crippled him. She hurried forward and pulled Owen away. “Stop fighting. Let’s go.”

Cole looked at Anita. After a while, he added stubbornly, “Just you wait. I’m going to tell those people at the meeting tomorrow.”

It would have been better if he hadn’t said that. But as soon as he said that, Owen punched him twice in the face. “Is that so? Then tomorrow, let everyone see how much of a scum you are.”

With that, he reached out and pulled Anita away before turning to leave.

Owen grabbed Anita’s hand firmly. The warmth of his hand kept transferring to Anita, and her body, which had been trembling, slowly began to calm down.

Today, Owen heard Anita’s cry for help and suddenly came to her rescue. Anita looked up and when she saw Owen holding her hand, she suddenly felt a sense of security.

For the first time in years, she felt a sense of security from someone other than her parents. Annita began to feel a strange emotion inside her.

Owen didn’t say anything the rest of the way. He just held Anita’s hand tightly as they walked to the car.

It was only after they got into the car that Anita started to calm down. “Owen, thank you for saving me today.”

Owen glanced at Anita but didn’t respond.

God knew how nervous Owen had been when he saw the fat man holding Anita’s hand outside the hotel room. Fortunately, he had arrived in time.

Owen went back to look for Anita after the party was over, but he couldn’t find her, so he stopped an attendant who had been around here and asked where the girl at the table had gone.

The attendant thought about it and said, “A fat man was drunk just now. This lady sent him back to the hotel.”

When Owen heard this, he felt that something was wrong. After interacting with her recently, Owen could clearly feel that Anita was a conservative and cautious girl. How could she casually send someone back to the hotel?

So he hurriedly drove to find Anita. Along the way, Owen’s heart was racing. He didn’t know why he felt this way, but he knew that he had to see Anita as soon as possible.

But Owen didn’t say any of this. “Anita, don’t thank me. I happened to appear today, but what about in the future? I hope you really have some brains.”

Owen hadn’t meant for it to come out so harshly. Looking at Anita’s frightened appearance, Owen wanted to go up and calm her down, but the words came out as accusations.

His words were so blunt and hurtful. As if she hadn’t expected Owen to say that, Anita froze. “I… I understand. Don’t worry, it won’t happen again. Thank you for what you did today.”

Anita felt miserable. Could she tell Owen the real reason? What should she say? After all, it was her own business..
