Chapter 108 - No Rest For The Seri.. I Mean Wicked.

"Seri... Seri.."

I grumbled in response, still asleep on my desk.

"Seri, wake up. Class is over. It's lunchtime."

I picked my head up quickly, "Lunchtime?"

Millie smiled at me, "That's right."

I stood up quickly gathering my things, "Let's go. Oh, and we should avoid the boys at all costs."

Millie tilted her head, "Why?"

"Because I want a relaxing academic life." I responded flatly.

And that's definitely one thing I can't get with being around the two idols of the school. Not to mention I want to avoid my death at all costs.

Millie nodded, "Alright, if you say so."

As we went to walk, I felt my arm tugged back. I looked behind me with a scowl.

Mary looked at me with a nervous expression, "Do you think I could talk to you for a moment alone?"

"Denied." I pulled my hand out and pushed Millie to hurry her.

Mary called after me, "Wait for me! I will walk with you."

"No."

Mary quickly grabbed her stuff and rushed after us. "Wait! I want to say something to you!"

I rolled my eyes. "Well I don't want to say anything to you. Soo..."

Mary flushed and shouted, "That night we spent together was one of the best nights of my life!!"

I froze in my tracks. The rest of the class grew silent and stared. I broke out into a cold sweat as I noticed Millie giving me a cold smile out of the corner of my eye.

I turned around abruptly, "Oi! Don't word it like that!!! You'll give people the wrong idea!!"

Mary looked at me with a hint of confusion, "What do you mean? That night you saved me and whisked me away..."

She clasped her hands together and made a dreamy expression, "That night you stole my heart. You were so cool as you held me in your arms. I had never felt safer my entire life."

I started to blush as people began to whisper around us.

Holy sh*t! Just kill me!! Why the hell is she wording it like we had some kind of romantic rendezvous?!

"Stop talking!" I shouted in a panic.

But she continued, "Then, after you whisked me away, you just abandoned me without even telling me your name!"

I looked between Millie and Mary in a panic. Millie had a very strange look on her face which made me gulp in fear.

She's. Super. Pissed.

I waved my hands in Mary's face, "Let's talk about this later, okay? So please shut up!!!"

She smacked her chest passionately with tears in her eyes, "Don't you realize I love you?! Every day since then I've thought of you!!"

The blood drained from my face.

What. The. F*ck.

The female lead chose the Yuri route!?!

She shouted for everyone to hear, "You stole my heart!!! So take responsibility and marry me!"

I felt everyone staring at me and gulped.

WHAT THE F*CK?!?

WHERE'S MY PEACEFUL LIFE?!

I forced out loud fake laughter, "HAHAHA! YOU'RE SO FUNNY!" I grabbed her hand and growled in a low voice, "Now shut the f*ck up and follow me."

I rushed out of the classroom and Millie followed after me with a chilling smile. Everyone shrunk out of her way as if they would be caught on fire by getting too close.

After the loud scene, several girls approached Artie. "So? Would you like to eat lunch with us Artie?"

He watched as I left and gave a sly smile, "I'm sorry, but I have prior engagements."

When we were far enough away, I released Mary from my grip. She smiled at me, "So do you accept?"

"No!" I shouted at her.

She pouted, "But why?"

My face twitched, "Because this isn't a yuri novel!!!"

Mary made a dumb expression, "Huh? Yuri? Do you know what that means?"

Mary turned behind her to see Millie making a terrifying expression. She quickly turned back around, breaking out in a cold sweat. She pretended not to notice the angry devil behind her.

Mary spoke, "Well... Could we start as friends?"

"No." I said in an aggravated tone.

I stopped walking. I turned to Millie who instantly dropped her terrifying expression and changed it to a warm smile. I didn't notice the change and asked, "Millie... Where's the cafeteria?"

She giggled and spoke in a sweet tone, "Oh Seri. You don't know? I guess you really need me after all. Don't worry, I will show you."

She tossed Mary a threatening look as she wrapped her arm around mine. I didn't notice her glaring at Mary since I was too excited thinking about what food they would serve.

I smiled at her, "Of course I do Millie! I can't live a day without you!"

"Hehe. Oh Seri. It would be best if everyone knew how much you needed me and nobody else. Isn't that right, Mary?"

She flashed Mary another chilling expression. Mary gulped, "Huh? Yeah."

Hmm. Don't know what that's about. Ah, well it doesn't involve me so I shouldn't poke my nose into it.

We got to the cafeteria and stood in line. I jumped in excitement just seeing the variety of cake.

"You must really like cake."

I nodded quickly, "I do! I do!"

"Hehe. You're cute."

I paused. Wait. That's not a Millie voice. Nor is it a Mary voice. My head stiffly turned to the voice. Artie stood by my side with a big grin.

"AKSJEUJSK!" I screamed and jumped away from him, "You little brat!! Where the hell did you come from?!"

His face twitched slightly but he continued his adorable act, "Hehe. You're strange. Didn't you notice me?"

"Nope." I said bluntly, "You're too short. You snuck up on me."

I could see his mask cracking.

I continued, "You were following me? Weren't you? You little stalker." I put extra emphasis on the word little.

"Stal...ker?"

"Yup. You know. A pervert who follows another around."

Did you think I wouldn't notice it in the novel? This brat just so happened to appear whenever Mary was alone and sad. Yeah. That's not coincidence. That's called stalking.

His mask finally fell apart, "Who's the f*cking brat?! You annoying bi-"

He froze realizing he was surrounded by people who were now looking over curiously. He coughed and put on another adorable face.

His face twitched as he whispered, "No one's ever talked to me like that before. Why don't you think I'm cute like the others?"

I smiled, "On the contrary, I find you super adorable."

"Huh?" He looked at me completely stumped, "But you just-"

I shrugged, "I mean, yes you're a pervert, but you're still adorable."

I nodded with passion. Yes. An adorable little hamster.

"So does that mean you dislike me or not?!" Artie was clearly confused by the conversation.

"What?! I could never dislike you! I'm the biggest Ouji lolita lover around!!!"

"Huh? Ouji? Lolita?"

Ah~ How can I not like such a cute looking boy in such adorably baggy clothes? He even has a little hat on!!! Kyaa! All he needs is a little teddy bear. *drools*

One of my favorite character types is the fluffy little brother characters. I always cheer for them, even though I know they'll never get the girl.

But they do always seem to get the boy.... Hmm....

He blinked rapidly, "I'm extremely confused."

I patted his head, "It's okay. Just call me big sister and we will get along nicely."

"Big sister?"

"Ahh! That already sounds so good." I glanced at him with a warning smile, "But don't mess with me you little punk. I got my eye on you."

He chewed on his cheek, "Noted."

After getting my food, I ran over to Millie. Artie followed after me. I looked around the room, "Where are we going to sit?"

"You're going to eat in the student council room."

ALWLODKENAKAOJSJSKE!!!

I cried, "Can people please stop popping up out of nowhere?!"

William frowned, "Maybe you should pay more attention."

Dante nodded at me, but stopped when he saw Artie standing so close to me. His glare darkened and the room felt as if it turned into an icebox. Artie gulped under the pressure and took two steps away from me.

I looked at William defiantly, "Well I'm not eating in the student council room! Me and Millie are staying here!"

He grabbed me by the collar and started dragging me away. I shouted for help while still holding my food. He growled, "It wasn't a suggestion."

"Oi! Oi! Okay okay! I get it! Let go already! You're gunna make me drop my cake."

He let go as I mumbled curses at him under my breath. He looked at Artie, "You come too."

He nodded still looking at Dante a bit fearful, "Okay..."

Dante continued to glare at him.

Millie smiled, "I will join you."

William turned to her, "You weren't invited."

She pouted, "Seri! William's bullying me!"

I glared at him, "If you bully Millie, I will turn you into a eunuch."

He rolled his eyes, "Fine. You can come."

"Wait for me!!!" Mary rushed after us.

I pushed William, "Quick! Hurry up!"

However, she caught up. She fidgeted in place, "Would it be alright if I join you?"

"No." I said coldly.

She looked down and sniffled, "Oh... But..."

She looked around her and everyone was gossiping about her. She was one of the few commoners in the school of bratty nobles. No one would ever let her sit by them.

In the book, she didn't have to worry about the lunch room situation because she went to the student council room. But now she doesn't have that option.

Well it's not my fault if she gets bullied. It's her own fault for being such an easy target...

Her lips trembled under their harsh stares. She looked pitiful.

Maybe I should let her come....

No! I can't! She's the reason why I die!!

But... She looks so pitiful...

ARGH! I WANT TO SLAM MY HEAD INTO A WALL!

"Cake!" I shouted after struggling with myself. I held my hand out.

"Huh?" She looked at my outstretched hand in confusion.

"You can come if you give me your cake."

She pouted, "But I like cake..."

"Then don't come."

"No! No! Please take my cake."

I gave a nod, "Good."

William frowned, "Who gives you the authority to invite her?"

"Eunuch. William. Eunuch." I threatened.

He rolled his eyes, "Whatever. She can come, but if she's annoying she's getting kicked out."

Mary skipped along, "Don't worry! I will just sit in a corner and stare at Seri!"

I turned to her in disgust, "Could you not?"

We walked to the student council room. Dante caught up to me and I glanced up at him.

F*ck. Why is he so much taller than me? This hurts my pride.

He leaned over and whispered, "You're too friendly."

Huh? Me friendly?

I gave him a puzzled face, "Since when?"

He motioned to Artie and Mary. Artie noticed him looking and turned pale. Mary on the other hand, was stuck in her own world like the airhead she is.

I frowned, "I'm definitely not friendly to them... Well maybe Artie. But I can't help it! He's too adorable!"

"..."

Dante's glare grew more fierce. I felt a chill crawl up my spine. I spoke quickly, "Don't worry Dante! I think you're muuuuch more adorable."

"Hm." He still glared, but he seemed to soften up a bit.

I breathed a sigh in relief. Curse you for making me say such embarrassing things!!!

R.i.p my dignity..

We walked into the student council room. The room had a long table which could fit 8 people. It was a fancy looking room with bookshelves lining the walls and golden decorations throughout.

William sat at the head of the table, Dante sat down near him, I sat across from Dante, Millie sat next to me, Artie went to sit next to me, but hesitated noticing Dante's glare. He then moved to sit by Millie. Mary took the other seat next to me and I glared. She pouted then moved to sit by Dante.

Somehow... I prefer that much less.

"Oi! Don't sit next to him!"

I smacked the seat next to me. She jumped up in excitement and sat next to me.

Artie giggled, "What Seri? Were you jealous?"

Dante glared at Artie stopping his attempt to tease me more. Artie gulped and looked down at his food. I ignored it and ate my cake first. Then I stole Mary's cake and ate that. She pouted.

William gave a smirk, "Here, Mary. Have mine."

Her eyes lit up, "Thank you Prince William!"

She reached out, but it was blocked. Everyone got quiet as they saw my outstretched arm grabbing the plate. I glared between the two of them.

"Mine also."

William smiled, "What? Who said I'd give my cake to you?"

"Why else would you get a cake if not to give it to me? It's not like you like cake."

Dante snickered under his breath. William blushed, "W-what if I learned to like it?"

"Yeah right! Now hand it over!"

Me and William began a tug of war over the cake.

He shouted, "Stop it! Regardless it's still mine! I can choose who to give it too!!"

I stabbed his hand with a fork. He released it and held his stabbed hand. "YOU STABBED ME?!"

I bit into the cake victoriously. William turned away and mumbled, "Whatever... It's not like I like cake or anything."

Mary looked between the two of us. She clapped her hands together as if she realized something, "Oh! I see! William likes cake, but he's too proud to admit it! So Seri steals his cake to tease him!"

Both William and I turned pale instantly. The room grew quiet.

I coughed under my breath, "Do you actually like cake?"

William blushed looking away, "N-No."
