Chapter 2 - So. I'm Seri?

After cursing aloud, I finally got myself to calm down. There's no way this is real. It must be just a fantasy. Very well then. I will play along.

An older girl scoffed, "Mel, I think she hit her head too hard when she fell. She seems to have gone crazy."

The blonde girl glared at them, "She didn't fall! you tripped her!"

The older girl feigned innocence, "I have no idea what you mean. We all saw her fall on her own. Isn't that right girls?"

She looked at the two girls by her side. They both had brown hair with average appearances. They didn't stand out at all. They nodded furiously. The one called Mel spoke, "That's right!"

The blonde girl stomped her foot, "Stop lying!"

The other girl, Sel, got in her face, "How dare you call lady Ilene a liar!"

Ilene? Where have I heard that name before? The new Seri looked at her carefully. This girl was a few years older than her. She had beautiful brown hair with a red tint. Her emerald eyes looked like jewels.

"What is the commotion over here?"

Ilene blushed at him, "William!" The other girls all screamed with happiness and gushed over the boy. He was around the same age as Ilene. He had short straight blondish-white hair and a very neat appearance. He dressed in a black tuxedo. Everyone was drawn to his dazzling blue eyes.

Ilene pouted, "William. Millie over here was accusing me of tripping Seri. But she really just fell on her own. Isn't that right?"

The girls around her immediately shouted in agreement. They practically looked like they were drooling over William with hearts in their eyes.

William sighed, "Ilene. Stop causing trouble."

She hiccuped and faked tears, "William. Do you really not believe your fiance?"

Seri felt her jaw drop. Things like this doesn't happen in real life. Leia. It's time to accept your fate.

More importantly, why does William also sound familiar?

Another boy jogged over wearing a bright smile. He had fluffy brown hair and golden eyes. He had gentle features. He was the total opposite compared to the cold and aloof William. "William, I heard your mother is asking for you."

He nodded at him, "Thank you Dante."

"Oh sh*t." Seri said loudly. She realized why the names were so familiar. They all turned to her in surprise.

Ilene shouted, "William, Dante. Please forgive her cursing." Ilene said feigning innocence, "She hit her head when she fell."

"Ah." William said even though his face clearly stated that he did not care.

Dante moved towards her, "Ah, Seri. Are you alright?"

I immediately stepped back wearing a disgusted face. I saw him freeze in surprise.

What? Why are you so shocked? No one has ever backed away from you in disgust before?

Dante quickly composed himself and smiled at the girls. "It was lovely to see you ladies again~" Dante winked at them and left with William.

"KYAA!"

"DID YOU SEE THAT?! DANTE WINKED AT ME!!"

"NO! HE WINKED AT ME!"

Seri rubbed her head. Of all the places to end up, I ended up here?!

I almost forgot about this novel until I heard the name Dante. Then it all clicked. This world was a novel I read before. The title was 'The Six Heavenly Gods".

The main character was a frail good natured commoner called Mary. It had the stereotypical 'commoner is accepted into an elite school and the most handsome men of that school falls for her' storyline.

Ilene was the antagonist who bullied Mary. She was engaged to William since childhood. This was because she was from the most prominent family in the kingdom.

William is a prince of the Royal family and is the stereotypical 'intelligent but cold personality' character, and is considered the main male lead.

Mary ultimately falls in love with Prince William. However, along the way she caught the attention of many other men. The most notable one was Dante.

Now, Dante was a different story. He acted all warm and charismatic, but was actually a sadistic ruthless character!!! Of course, no one except the main character Mary knew this.

I knew to avoid this wolf in sheep's clothing for one reason.

That was because I suddenly recalled who Seri was.

Seri was the side character who had zero personality. She was so shy and weak that everyone bullied her. Ilene had forced her to push a bookcase over on top of Mary in the original novel. Luckily, Dante was nearby and saved her. He was so furious, he actually killed Seri right there and then!!

Uwa. Of all the characters I could be, why'd I have to be her?! I was the one who cheered when Dante dispatched her!!! I hated that boring a** character.

Is this karma?! F*k that! You think you can get rid of me so easily?! Bring it on b*tch! I will dominate all of you sons of b*tches!

A sinister giggle escaped my lips.

Millie looked at me with a pale face. She felt a chill creep up her spine at the sound of her evil laughter. Just how hard did she hit her head?!
