Chapter 381 - The Scum Is Keen

Xiao San shook his head. No panic can be seen on his face. 

How can Fei Yin not know that this person is really sincere? In fact, xiao San is the sincerest person he met in the Heilong Realm. Not even Bai Yun could compare to him. "What do you want?" he asked. 

"I want you to help our da ge… our leader in defeating Ma Wen." xiao San answered. 

"Isn't that's what we are doing?" Fei Yin asked. 

Xiao San stared at Fei Yin. "You already heard how deceptive Ma Wen can be." he spoke. Then, his eyes fell on Cheng Sheng. "Can he defeat him?" he asked. 

"He can." Fei Yin honestly answered. His voice is filled with confidence for his lover. Even if Cheng Sheng can't later, then he will use Jing Xian to one-shot kill this old cunning fox Ma Wen. 

Xiao San sighed in relief. "Then, I'll give you the antidote." He said. 

"Wait." Fei Yin spoke. "This is the deal between us and your leader. There's also the deal between us and Shang He, so there will be an extra antidote for us later. But, this doesn't count as a deal with you, so we won't take your antidote." He said. "If you want to make a deal with us, then you should think of something else." He told him. 

Xiao San froze. He stared at Fei Yin for a long while, scrutinizing him. "Then – " he said. " – do you have a device that could help us uproot Ma Wen's people?" he asked. 

Fei Yin pondered. "I heard that these people are hiding within your people?" he asked. 

Xiao San nodded. "We've already caught some of them today. But, we are afraid that some of our own citizens were being threatened by them so they don't dare to expose Ma Wen's people to us." He explained. 

"Ah." Fei Yin muttered. Then, he turned to the door when it opened. "Perfect timing. Here he is." He spoke and smiled when he saw Wu Yuan. 

"Something happened?" Wu Yuan asked. 

"It's about those rat-like people." Fei Yin answered. 

"Oh." Wu Yuan muttered. 

Xiao San. "…" do they have to describe Ma Wen's people like that? "What will he do?" he asked Fei Yin. 

"What shall I do?" Wu Yuan asked at the same time. 

"… huh?" xiao San was taken aback. 

"?" Wu Yuan tilted his head, puzzled by xiao San's surprised expression as he looked at Fei Yin. 

Fei Yin smiled. "It is our sect's, precisely my shidi's, invention." He spoke. "He and us don't belong to the same sect." he explained to xiao San. 

"Oh." xiao San remembered that they were looking for their fathers. They really didn't say that they came from the same sect. It was them that assumed that way, since they don't differentiate the righteous cultivators from the others. 

"Take this." Fei Yin spoke to Wu Yuan and gave him a mirror. 

"… this isn't another Mirror of Yearning, right?" Wu Yuan asked. 

Fei Yin chuckled. "The treasures are on my shidi. My shidi's treasures are mine." He explained. 

Wu Yuan and xiao San choked. What's with this suffocating feeling? Do they have to be fed dog food?! 

"Are you all familiar with all the citizens of the Drunken Moon City?" Fei Yin asked xiao San. 

Xiao San nodded. "Yes. We all saved them before. I can remember all their faces." He confidently answered. Then, he paused. "But, I don't know why we can't still find Ma Wen's people." He frowned in displeasure. 

"This mirror will give you the answer." Fei Yin told him. 

"Really?!" xiao San stared at the mirror with a burning gaze. 

Fei Yin nodded. "Yes. Just let them look at the mirror." He said. 

Xiao San looked at him. "It's that simple?" he asked. 

Suddenly, Fei Yin smiled. "If you still can't find those people you are looking for after looking at the mirror, then come back to me." He told xiao San. 

Xiao San's brows shot up. But, he didn't say anything and just looked at Wu Yuan. "What about him?" he asked. 

"His qi is more effective than my qi, that's why I have him go with you instead of me." Fei Yin said before he paused. "Of course, the main reason is that I can't bear to leave my shidi." He said. 

Wu Yun and xiao San. "…" enough!!! 

Fei Yin coughed as his expression turned serious. "His qi is of fire attribute, while mine is of ice and my shidi's is of wood and fire. But, because my shidi has double roots, his fire root is weaker than of his because he is of a single and pure root." He explained as he looked at Wu Yuan. 

Wu Yuan nodded. What Fei Yin said is true. 

"Then – " xiao San took out a bottle of antidote before handing it to Fei Yin. " – here. If this mirror works, then this will be the end of our deal. If it isn't…" his voice trailed off. 

"You're not suspecting that I am tricking you?" Fei Yin asked. 

"The same can be said with you." xiao San spoke as he looked at Fei Yin. His gaze is challenging. 

Fei Yin chuckled as he opened the bottle and poured it inside Cheng Sheng's mouth. "If it doesn't work, then I'll tell you the reason. And also, I'll tell you another way of rooting them out." He said. 

"If we'll be using another method, then I'll give you another thing." xiao San spoke. 

"You are really not suspicious that I'm just waiting for you to say this in order to get another thing from you?" Fei Yin asked. 

Xiao San's brows raised. "If I still suspect you, then the life I lived before this can be fed to the dogs." He spoke before he left without waiting for Fei Yin to speak. 

Wu Yuan looked at xiao San, then Fei Yin. Fei Yin just chuckled. "Don't worry, senior. Just use your qi to activate the mirror." He told him. 

Wu Yuan nodded. He trusts Fei Yin. And so he left with xiao San. 

Meanwhile, Fei Yin looked at Cheng Sheng and waited for the other to wake up. "Sheng… don't make me wait too long." He said as he held Cheng Sheng's hand and felt that the temperature of Cheng Sheng's body is slowly returning to normal. "I don't have that much time." He whispered. 

Huilong Continent, Southmost Region, Stop By Town. 

"Lan. What's wrong?" Fan Wen asked as he stood beside Xie Lan who is gazing at the horizon with his face wearing a cloudy expression. 

Qian Tian, Qian Lin, You Rou, Li Tian, Feng Mo, Lei Qing and Jing Hei still haven't returned from their shopping. 

"Wen." Xie Lan turned. 

"Is something bothering you?" Fan Wen asked. 

"Yes." Xie Lan honestly answered. 

"What is it?" Fan Wen immediately spoke. 

"Wen." Xie Lan called. "Do you remember that time when we left the Shanliangde Sect?" he asked. 

"… huh?" Fan Wen was taken aback by Xie Lan's question. Nonetheless, he answered. "Yes. Why? What's wrong?" he asked, feeling nervous. 

Seeing his wife's nervous appearance, a smile formed on Xie Lan's lips. He kissed him on the forehead to relieve his anxiety. "It's nothing big." He spoke. 

"So, what is it?" Fan Wen asked as he sighed in relief. 

"I just remembered something earlier when Fei Lin and Zuo Zhe are talking to each other." Xie Lan spoke. 

"And that is?" Fan Wen asked. 

"About our former teacher – sect leader Fei." Xie Lan answered. 

"Huh?" Fan Wen became more confused. What did Fei Huang do? He thought, puzzled.
