Chapter 334 - The Scum Is Responsible

Name:The Scum Is A Author:HuilongShenghou
A light flashed not far from them. After the light died down, they saw Xie Lan, Fan Wen, Li Tian and Zuo Zhe appeared. "Founder! Shifu!" Lei Ling cried while Lei Qing was pleasantly surprised.

However, the joyful surprise was replaced by terror when they saw Xie Lan and Fan Wen collapsed and finally noticed that Li Tian is unconscious.

"FOUNDER! SHIFU!" Lei Ling and Lei Qing cried. "LI-SHIDI/LI-SHIXIONG!!!" they ran towards the four people.

Fei Lin, the only one conscious, came out. Xi Ling, Jing Bai and Feng Mo were in a coma. "Sect leader Xie!" he cried when he saw Xie Lan was lying on the floor, barely conscious like Fan Wen.

"FOUNDER! SHIFU! LI-SHIXIONG!!!" You Rou cried and ran towards Xie Lan, Fan Wen and Li Tian while Lei Qing and Lei Ling checked their condition.

"Your founder overexerted himself. But, your shifu and Li Tian are in a better condition. They just needed rest." Zuo Zhe told them.

Lei Qing, Lei Ling and You Rou immediately calmed down. Lei Qing and Lei Ling helped You Rou applied first aid to Xie Lan and Fan Wen while Fei Lin who rushed to them tried to give Li Tian his qi.

"Elder Fei. Your qi was almost depleted. Let me." Qian Tian said. Qian Lin immediately helped his elder brother up and they walked towards Xie Lan, Fan Wen and Li Tian.

"No. There's still us." You Rou said. Lei Qing and Lei Ling nodded.

"Lei Qing." Zuo Zhe suddenly called.

Lei Qing turned to him.

"Everyone that could fight are all recuperating. Only you, Qian Lin and Yu Sheng are the remaining ones." Zuo Zhe said. "You have to conserve your energy." He told her.

Lei Qing's eyes widened before she lowered her head and clenched her fists. "I understand." She said and tightened her grip on the hilt of her sword.

"Lei Ling." Zuo Zhe called.

"Y-yes?!" Lei Ling nervously answered.

"You are responsible for the barriers surrounding the Millennium Ship. You are a mage, and it is very taxing for the mages to use qi." Zuo Zhe said. "You can't give them qi." He told him.

Lei Ling's face paled. "I… I understand…" he said and hung his head.

"You Rou." Zuo Zhe finally called. He looked at her and saw her kneeling beside Xie Lan, Fan Wen and Li Tian. "Like Lei Ling, you are a mage. And you even use more qi than him since you refine magic pills and potions. You're the one the most that can't use your qi to heal the others, even if they are almost your family." He said, referring to Xie Lan, Fan Wen and Li Tian as her family. "You should focus on refining medicines and potions. Everyone needs them the most, so you are very essential. Your founder, shifu and shixiong also know this." he added.

You Rou bit her lip and her eyes reddened. "Shimei…" Lei Qing and Lei Ling called. They know it's You Rou who's the one that most wanted to help Xie Lan, Fan Wen and Li Tian. She is their disciple and fellow disciple, like Lei Qing and Lei Ling. But, she's also a doctor, unlike Lei Qing and Lei Ling.

No one dared ask Zuo Zhe to be the one to give qi to Xie Lan, Fan Wen and Li Tian. Not because they are afraid of Yu Sheng retaliating if they abused Zuo Zhe, but because Zuo Zhe has already greatly contributed by sealing many Ni Lai Gates. Just sealing one Ni Lai Gate already costed them this much. How much more of it for Zuo Zhe? Although Zuo Zhe already said that it was perfunctory for him, but they know Zuo Zhe is just being modest and don't want them to be indebted to him.

Zuo Zhe isn't malicious. They know that. That's why they don't want to take Zuo Zhe for granted, and they are not that kind of people who take others for granted.

You Rou, although still mad at Qian Tian, but their founder, shifu and fellow disciple Li Tian are more important than her anger. "Just give them a small amount of qi each. You can't overfeed them with qi. And, they could replenish their qi on their own as they rested." She told Qian Tian, her back is still on him.

"Yes." Qian Tian nodded and stood beside Xie Lan, Fan Wen and Li Tian. He closed his eyes and raised his hands. A deep green light appeared on his hands and flew towards Xie Lan, Fan Wen and Li Tian. After a while and he grunted. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth and he fell on his knee.

"Brother!" Qian Lin cried and helped his elder brother.

"I'm fine." Qian Tian said and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "My internal injury was aggravated." He explained.

You Rou isn't ungrateful, either. She immediately grabbed Qian Tian's wrist and checked his pulse. She sighed in relief that it was really just Qian Tian's internal injury. "Go rest." She told him before she turned to Fei Lin and Qian Lin. "I'm sorry, but I have to trouble you to bring our founder and shifu to their room so they could rest." She said.

Fei Lin and Qian Lin nodded. "No problem." They answered and carried Xie Lan and Fan Wen over their shoulder. Fortunately, Fan Wen is light so Qian Lin can carry him by himself. Lei Qing carried the unconscious Li Tian while Lei Ling helped Qian Tian up and assisted him.

Zuo Zhe and You Rou remained. You Rou was about to say something when she saw Zuo Zhe looked up at the sky. She looked at the sky and saw several figures flying towards them. "Yu Sheng." She heard Zuo Zhe speak.

Her eyes widened and she squinted her eyes. They were really Yu Sheng! And Jing Cheng, Jing Hei and Zheng Yi are flying behind him. Jing Cheng and Jing Hei were carrying two people. "Sect leader Jing and fourth young master Jing!" she exclaimed when the last group landed on the ship and recognized the two unconscious people.

Zheng Yi helped the badly beaten Jing Cheng carefully place Jing Rui on the floor. Jing Hei followed and placed Jing Kang beside Jing Rui. "Jing Hei!" they heard Qian Lin cry, followed by his rushed footsteps as he ran and hugged Jing Hei tight.

"Ah Lin…" Jing Hei hugged him back.

You Rou reacted fast since earlier and checked Jing Rui and Jing Kang. Like the others, both are exhausted. "Physical exhaustion, as well as near-depletion of qi." She diagnosed Jing Rui and Jing Kang.

Jing Cheng breathed in relief before his eyes closed and he collapsed. "Da ge!" Jing Hei cried when he saw Jing Cheng fainted.

You Rou immediately moved to the other patient. "Exhaustion." She said. She then told them to bring the patients inside and feed them magic pills and potions to lessen the pain they feel, and heal their wounds.

"Wu Ran is really wise." She heard Yu Sheng spoke. "He made them all spend their energy and deplete their qi before he sent them a strong opponent to finish them all." He said.

Zuo Zhe nodded. "Giving an appetizer before serving the main dish." He said.

Yu Sheng looked at him, and You Rou couldn't help but look back. She saw Yu Sheng looking at Zuo Zhe, his gaze looked complicated, like he didn't understand what Zuo Zhe said. She didn't stay and followed everyone.

"Let me break down the walls so you don't have to enter and exit each room, which is time and energy consuming." She heard Zuo Zhe spoke behind her as his fingers moved in mid-air. "Without the walls separating each room, it'll be easier for you to check each patient." He told her.

"Wait, Zhe – " Yu Sheng spoke. But, it was too late.

Everyone was startled when they saw that the walls separating the rooms disappeared.

" - … you have to consider their privacy, too…" Yu Sheng spoke in a low voice. But, Zuo Zhe reacted so fast.

"Ah." Zuo Zhe muttered, his face blank as he looked at the surrounding suddenly became more spacious.

Zheng Yi just placed the unconscious Jing Kang on the bed while Jing Hei placed Jing Cheng on another bed when his gaze caught a person lying on the bed of the other room. Now that the walls disappeared, he saw the person with a handsome face and thick brows, and even while sleeping, his face looked gentle. "Jing… Bai…" he muttered and stared at that familiar face. For some reason, he felt his heart ache as he continued to stare at Jing Bai's face.

Jing Hei noticed Zheng Yi. "Zheng Yi…" he called when he noticed Zheng Yi was staring at Jing Bai. Suddenly, his eyes brightened. "Zheng Yi! Did you finally remember my ge?" he asked, his gaze hopeful and excited.
