Chapter 666 - The Scum Is A Waste

"You…! Why are you here?! This is none of the Xinfaxian Sect's business!" Dong Chi said as he sat up from the floor. "And, how did you get in here?!" he asked again since the other didn't answer the question earlier.

"Why am I here?" I am here to avenge Dong Cheng." Lei Qing answered. "This is not the Xinfaxian Sect's business? How so? You colluded with the enemies, not to mention that you are planning to take down the other sects, too, along with the enemies." She sneered. "And for how did I get in here? You have to ask my shidi about that." She said as she unsheathed her sword and pointed it to Dong Chi's throat, making him unable to move.

One small move and his throat will be split open by the gleaming blade. Dong Chi nervously gulped as a bead of sweat trickled down the side of his face. "C – calm down first…!" he said and raised his hands.

Although he has been training with the sect since young, he knows that he lacks talent. So, he was always called a 'waste' by their disciples despite the fact that he is the nephew of the sect leader. He was ridiculed, especially since his father is ill since birth, and that his mother was just a maid. So, he was doubly ridiculed.

They told him that his father is an invalid and won't be able to help him. Dong Chi doesn't really hate his father, though he also doesn't like him. His feelings towards him is neutral. What he hates the most is his mother who was a maid. She wanted to raise her status so she climbed Dong Chi's father's bed despite the other is ill since she knows that climbing the bed of Dong Cheng's father is impossible since Dong Cheng's father is a loyal man to his late wife, and that she won't be able to beat him as his guard against these things is high. Thus, she chose Dong Chi's father.

Although Dong Chi's father is ill, he is still a man. So, Dong Chi was conceived in the maid's womb. After Dong Chi was born, though, she was kicked out of the Dong House and was only given a small amount of compensation. She tried to persuade them at first that she really loved Dong Chi's father and she wanted to be a mother to her child. But, the Dong family was obstinate so her true colors were revealed. She swore at their family before she left with that small amount of silver. She didn't even mention her child again.

So, it wasn't surprising that Dong Chi grew crooked albeit Dong Cheng and his father cared for him. Especially since he found out that his father was also evil by nature. He caught him placing poison on the food of Dong Cheng's father. He didn't reveal himself at that time and waited until his father revealed his true face to him.

And, as expected, when Dong Chi grew up, his father confessed to him that he hated his elder brother to the bones. That his elder brother stole the sect leader position and the family head position, from him. Of course, Dong Chi doesn't believe this since he knows that Dong Cheng's father is kind, and is also blind to their family's schemes, which was convenient to Dong Chi and his father.

So, the father and son duo began to scheme together against another father and son duo.

"Watch out!" Guo Cheng told Shan Lu and grabbed his hand to pull him when a spirit servant soundlessly crept behind Shan Lu. He immediately threw a talisman to the spirit servant and the spirit servant immediately shrieked, then dissipated.

"Watch out!" Shan Lu yelled and pulled Guo Cheng back when Shan Lu saw a spear coming towards Guo Cheng. Shan Lu raised his sword to block the spear of the enemy.

Fortunately, Cheng Sheng has already foreseen this problem. So, they can fight toe-to-toe against these shameless invaders!

"So what?" Guo Cheng haughtily said as he rolled his eyes at their opponent.

Shan Lu is fighting against his opponent right now while Guo Cheng is facing the spirit servants of Shan Lu's opponent. Yes, this guy has actually many spirit servants! Fortunately, Cheng Sheng has already foreseen this, too, before, while they were discussing about the spirit servants about the possibility of one person having three or more spirit servants. Also, they have already prepared themselves for whatever unforeseen circumstances that they will face in this battle in the Dongcheng.

So, Guo Cheng and Shan Lu weren't that much surprised when they saw many spirit servants after they have advanced in the enemy's camp along with the others.

"Damn it!" the leader of the enemies that attacked the Dongcheng Sect and helped Dong Chi cursed and threw the bottle of wine in his hand after he heard his subordinate's report.

The servants of the Dong family immediately retreated while the women that he is fondling shrank their necks and shuddered in fright.

"Sir, they have a large group and actually can see the spirit servants!" the subordinate continued with an ugly expression on his face. "And… they also know about those worms!" he added and recalled the scene that he saw.

These people who suddenly appeared out of nowhere have burned the worms! This caught them off-guard, along with the fact that these people can actually see the spirit servants. So, even though they have a larger number compared to them, these people have taken advantage that they were caught off-guard and attacked them!

Hearing this, the leader's face turned uglier and he kicked one of the female servants. Although the other servants wanted to help her, they didn't dare move for fear that they would irritate the enemies more. They can only suppress their anger and wait for these people to leave!

"What about those who were guarding the vicinity and are looking for Dong Cheng?!" the leader asked the leader.

"Sir, they…" the subordinate's face turned pale with fright. "They were dead… since earlier." He told them.

"WHAT?!" the leader exclaimed in shock. Then, he roared in anger and marched out of the mansion, ignoring the servants on the side since he knows that they won't pose a threat to them.

What he wanted to know is that who are these people that dared to oppose them?

The servants finally breathed a sigh of relief after the two enemies left and helped the female servant who was kicked. "Eat this… come on." They said as they fed her a magic pill that they have seen from the sect's infirmary earlier.

"Thank… you." The female servants said when she felt that the pain in her stomach has subsided.

They all sighed in relief. Now that there was a ruckus in the sect and they know that help has arrived, they already began to plan to escape so that they wouldn't hinder their saviors later!

"Shijie!" Fei Yin and Cheng Sheng called when they saw Lei Qing tying Dong Chi. They sighed in relief when they saw that she was fine.

"Have you seen the leader of the enemies?" Lei Qing asked.

"Not yet. Founder, sect leader Tang and sect leader Sun are looking for him." Fei Yin answered while Cheng Sheng took out the Shapeshifting Blanket form his sleeve.

The Shapeshifting Blanket twisted mid-air before it dove towards Dong Chi, then it wrapped him up. fei Yin, Cheng Sheng and Lei Qing saw that the bulge on the ground became smaller and smaller until the Shapeshifting Blanket became flat.

Dong Chi was swallowed by the Shapeshifting Blanket.

"Where is Ah Ling?" Lei Qing asked.

"Lei-shidi went with shifu and Wu Bai to kill the Devouring Worms to stop them from escaping to other places." Cheng Sheng explained.

"Good." Lei Qing sighed in relief. "Let's go find sect leader Dong." He said.

"Yes." Fei Yin and Cheng Sheng nodded.

Dong Cheng's father was poisoned for a long time, adding to the fact that he was beaten by Dong Chi. Naturally, his condition shouldn't be good. So, Cheng Sheng, a doctor, volunteered to find him to check his condition and to cure him as soon as possible. Fei Yin naturally accompanied him to protect him.. The others also wanted to accompany them but Fei Yin declined them.
