Chapter 597 - The Scum Is Cool-headed

"Brother!" Sun Ri cried and ran towards the unconscious Sun Yan. "What happened to my brother?!" she asked as Xi Bing and Wu Lian carefully placed Sun Yan down the ground before Wu Lian left to call Cui Xiang and Ling Yun for them to treat Sun Yan and Fei Luo.

"I didn't expect for this to…" Chen Wu frowned as his brows knit. "Xiao Ling and xiao Bao shouldn't be this heavy-handed." He said.

"It… it's my fault…" Fei Luo spoke and gasped as he touched his chest because he broke a rib.

They all turned to him.

"Luo-ge…" Sun Ri called. She wanted to get angry at Fei Luo, but she knows her elder brother. He wouldn't be this reckless. There must be a reason. Thus, she can only held back her temper.

"I… I was absent-minded and he bore most of the attacks of xiao Ling and xiao Bao." Fei Luo said. "We can't waste any more chance… the competition… the elimination period is near…" he said in a weak voice. "So, he pushed himself to his limit, so, he…" he looked at Sun Yan.

Chen Wu glared at him. "Shut up! I just feel uncomfortable for gaining the upper hand!" he said and left, still angry.

"What did you mean, brother?" Fei Huo asked. Sun Ri is equally confused while Xi Bing fell silent.

"Chen Wu already found out the conditions, so he proposed a game to me and Wu Tie." Fei Luo answered. "The first vote, it was Chen Wu but he didn't come so Wu Tie took the advantage. The second vote, Wu Tie wanted to oust either Chen Wu or me so he voted the same person again, while I, not in my peak state, voted for the same person, too, but Chen Wu voted for either Wu Tie or I." he explained. "Wu Tie should already got the answer, and Sun Yan and I only got the third chance left. We can't wait for tomorrow, Sun Yan knows this. Yet I messed up." he bitterly laughed.

"Brother…" Fei Huo cried.

Sun Ri wanted to lash out her anger after knowing the cause yet she can't, for she knows that her brother did this to himself. She can only cry. "Brother…" she called at Sun Yan whose breathing is faint. She felt fear ate her heart. He won't die, will he? She thought and felt her chest hurt.

"Now, now. Don't think of anything else, or else we have to treat another patient!" Ling Yun told Sun Ri and Cui Xiang patted her shoulder before Cui Xiang went to treat Sun Yan's injuries while Ling Yun went to Fei Luo to relocate his bones.

Silence fell upon them, until the bushes moved and it revealed the injured Xi He. Xi Bing wanted to hit him but since Xi He was already this injured, he held back his anger. He also considered again that they are cousins so he bit his tongue not to curse Xi He.

Their sect is really unlucky today, and might become unluckier later this midnight when the elimination period comes. But, they felt that they are the unluckiest since they won't have any dinner, for they didn't have the strength to hunt for food anymore. Xi Bing and Fei Huo were also tired after they farmed for points the whole day since they know that Sun Yan and Fei Luo will be fighting against xiao Ling and xiao Bao. Xi Bing picked up Sun Yan with the help of Ling Yun to not aggravate his injuries while Fei Huo helps Fei Luo up. Wu Lian coughed. "For the matter of conditions of xiao Ling and xiao Bao stealing our points…" he spoke.

Sun Yan's, Xi Bing's and Wu Tie's faces became serious. They have a really bad feeling with this.

"Of course, we will only give you our points for just one day, until all of you got better." Wu Lian continued. "As for the last day, you have to watch out for yourselves. We won't show you any mercy." He told them.
