Chengfeng let out a howl as if he agreed with Yue Jiaojiao’s words. He put his two paws in Yue Jiaojiao’s arms and kept rubbing his head against her, trying to lick her face.

Zhao Zhan grabbed the back of its neck and pulled it away in time. “Jiaojiao is mine.”

Chengfeng bared his teeth.

The warmth of a human and a tiger recognizing each other had completely disappeared. Yue Jiaojiao laughed so hard that she clutched her stomach and fell. When Zhao Zhan heard her laughter, he casually tossed Chengfeng to the side and directly held the delicate person in his arms.

Yue Jiaojiao was still in a squatting position in Zhao Zhan’s arms, and her small figure looked even more petite and lovely.

“Jiaojiao…”

Zhao Zhan lowered his gaze and looked at the giggling woman in his arms.

It was snowing heavily in the yard, and soon, the outside was covered with a thin layer of snow. Chengfeng howled in the wind and wagged his tail. He wiped his paws clean at the door and ran into the room.

The reflection from the light snow lit up the night sky.

Zhao Zhan could clearly see the change in Yue Jiaojiao’s expression.

His eyes were pitch black as he looked at Yue Jiaojiao with a deep gaze. Then, he strode into the room and placed her on the bed.

“Zhao Zhan…”

Yue Jiaojiao still had some memories of her time in Hekou Country, so she subconsciously let out a hiss.

Her appearance was gentle and charming, but there was a trace of fragile rejection on her face. Zhao Zhan’s adam’s apple quickly bobbed a few times, and he rolled up his sleeves and approached her step by step.

“Jiaojiao…”

His voice was hoarse as he called her name out softly.

Zhao Zhan’s sturdy figure could be seen from the thick outer robe he was wearing. He knelt on the bed with one knee and wrapped his arms around Yue Jiaojiao. Then, he gradually lowered his body.

Yue Jiaojiao’s entire body was enveloped by his aura, and her body uncontrollably leaned back.

The snow outside was getting heavier and heavier, and even the branches were bent from the weight.

A gust of wind whistled past and the pile of snow on the branch splashed in all directions, creating a white fog.

Her voice was completely swallowed between his lips and grip.

A crisp sound came from the door.

Zhao Zhan subconsciously covered the ears of the sleeping Yue Jiaojiao and lowered his head to take a careful look. Yue Jiaojiao let out an oh and fell into a deep sleep, not even frowning.

Zhao Zhan chuckled and leaned over to caress her face. Then, he got up and picked up the robe that had fallen at the foot of the bed.

Chengfeng’s ears perked up as he watched Zhao Zhan push the door open and leave. He then turned his head to look at Yue Jiaojiao, who was lying quietly on the bed. His big golden eyes looked around hesitantly, then he lay back on the bed and closed his eyes.

“Am I disturbing you?” Yang Maozhong stood at the door and rubbed his hands. He was pacing back and forth due to the cold weather. “Lizheng has finished dividing the meat. You should go and take a look.”

“Okay,” he said.

Zhao Zhan’s entire body exuded an aura of satisfaction as he followed Yang Maozhong toward the empty house behind.

“Zhao Zhan, this pile is yours.” Yang Dashan stood in front of Zhao Zhan’s pile of meat, he even gave a simple and honest smile. “We wanted to send it to you, but Lizheng said that we should call you over to check first.”

Zhao Zhan only gave it a cursory glance.

After all, the internal affairs had already been divided, and everyone seemed willing to part with the shares. He could not possibly pick a few more and make a fuss.

“Lizheng has always been fair, I don’t have any objections.”

“Well then, everyone, take your shares! ” Lizhengren was in high spirits, and his face was red when he spoke. “Tomorrow, everyone will be happy for the New Year!”
