Everyone in the room seemed to freeze in an instant.

The old man who had helped in the quarrel froze by the bed too. His lips moved several times, but he uttered nothing at last.

“Okay, I will make a call. Let’s see who can get better support.” While speaking, Ryan dialed Preston Parker’s phone. “Mr. Parker, I have a situation here. My friend’s grandma is sick… Your man Buck Thompson is very arrogant…”

On the other end of the phone, Preston felt trepidation at hearing what Ryan said. “I apologize, Mr. Fletcher Jr. Which ward are you in? I happen to be in Saltband Medical Center, too. I can come to see you…”

Ryan told him the room number and hung up.

‘What is going on?’

‘Even Dr. Manning has to apologize to Ryan?’
