Chapter 192: i know what you did last night

"I know what you did last night." Gustavo disclosed.

Hearing what he said, Alex didn't take him seriously. He squeezed his face and looked at Gustavo like he was a dumb person.

['Many things happened last night and the only thing that I think this fool knows of is the lightning thingy that we caused.'] Alex pointed out.

['We really need to get a name for that AOE attack. And I wouldn't worry much, if this guy knows anything then he would have spoken about it to the school authorities, he doesn't look like the type that likes to shut his mouth up.'] Al uttered.

"You know what I did last night?" Alex repeated. "You mean the storm of lightning that disturbed the school last night right?" Alex arched a brow at him.

"No, no. You are the only lightning elemental user in the academy, possibly, this whole western continent. Anyone with a brain can easily figure out that you caused that commotion." Gustavo facepalmed himself and hissed.

"If that's what you know, then we also know that," Camron interjected. He too was looking at Gustavo like he was stupid.

Gustavo used his hand to indicate again to Alex, that he should come closer, but just like the first time that he did that, Alex didn't do as he indicated. He closed the distance between them and brought his lips closer to Alex's ears.

"You did something else last night and know what it is. You should know what I'm talking about." Gustavo insisted.

This time Alex could tell that Gustavo actually knew something, what he knew exactly Alex couldn't point out because a lot of things happened to him last night. He started to feel the urge to kill Gustavo but he decided not to react and resist the spiraling killing intent that was boiling in him.

['This guy, he's asking for trouble. What does he know?'] Alex thought, feeling a bit nervous.

['We need him to point out what exactly he knows.'] Xander said. Alex and his alters could tell that this stalker of theirs was active last night, about the time that they too were active. And the stalker caught them doing something.

"I don't know what you are talking about, what exactly do you know?" Alex pretended to be clueless.

Gustavo sighed and rolled his eyes at Alex. "You are really going to make me say it out aren't you?" He sighed again and looked at the rest of the Seraphim team members that were looking at him weirdly.

"Do they know too?" He asked Alex.

Alex looked at his teammates with a confused expression on his face. "How can they know what even I don't know?" Alex was starting to get impatient. His reign over his impulse was slipping away slowly as time went by.

"Alright then, I'll say it." Gustavo was about to use his hand to indicate to Alex again that he should come closer, however, he stopped himself from doing that again because Alex wasn't going to lean forward. So he leaned forward just as he had done the first two times.

He brought his lips closer to Alex's ears and said; "Last night, by chance, I saw you kill Miss. Hinata-"

Immediately he revealed what he knew, Alex snapped.

He grabbed Gustavo's collar and pulled him away from his ears. He then knocked him on the table and quickly brought out the knife in his storage ring, the same one that still had poison on it…

Without any second thoughts, Alex pinned Gustavo on the table and was about to help Gustavo's head part ways with his neck.

Alex did this on instincts and impulse, his actions were so fast and unexpected that no one in the class could react to it on time, not even his alters expected him to do this. To Alex, it was common sense and it was only right, that he puts an immediate end to trouble makers like Gustavo.

What he knew could put him in a lot of trouble that Alex thought he had escaped from. Alex released his killing intent and immediately, the atmosphere in the class changed, before it was lively but now, it was deadly and hard for weaker students to move.

Some of them began shivering as soon as the pressure from Alex's killing intent grazed them. While some started to feel the urge to want to kill too. This effect is one of the things that happens when some people come in contact with Alex's murderous aura, it was like an infection that gives other people post-murder tension.

He was about to make his move when an unfamiliar hand appeared out of nowhere and put a stop to his attack then somehow suppressed his killing intent. Everything calmed down as soon as this hand appeared.

"You were about to kill him, if I hadn't stopped you, you would have done that without any sort of hesitation. Why do you want to kill him?" The person that spoke was none other than teacher Tsukishima. He was the one the held Alex's hand and saved Gustavo's life.

Tsukishima forcefully released Gustavo from Alex's grip.

Gustavo got up and looked at Alex with fear in his eyes, his forehead began to sweat as Alex locked gaze with him.

'This guy is, this is not the reaction that I expected from him. I thought that this was the best place to say this, where people are. I thought that he wouldn't be able to kill me in front of so many people and yet, he was about to contradict my expectations without any second thought.' Gustavo thought.

Tsukishima's grip on Alex's hand started to tighten when Alex still hadn't given him a reply. His grip was so tight that one side of Alex's hand had started to turn pale, blood was being stopped from flowing to the side of his hand.

Alex had zoned out completely, he didn't flinch or show any kind of discomfort when Tsukishima did this. Even his heartbeat didn't change when this happened. All he did was glare at Gustavo.

Despite Tsukishima's tightening of his grip on Alex's hand, Alex's grip on his knife didn't relax one bit.

['Goddamn it!! I thought that you had gotten better control over your impulsive problems. Why the hell did you do that!? Did you forget that there are too many eyes here?! If you had killed this one trouble, then you would have created more troubles similar to this Gustavo's own.'] Al scolded Alex.

The trouble that Al was referring to was the other students in the class. The reason why he said that Alex would have created more troubles similar to Gustavo's, was because Gustavo is a witness to one of the murders that they committed last night, and if he had killed Gustavo then he would have more witnesses to another murder perpetrated by him.

['It's a good thing Tsukishima showed up stopped you.'] Lex was relieved.

Everyone in the class was in a temporary state of shock from the unexpected things that happened.

"Alex!" The members of the Seraphim team echoed as soon as they snapped out of their shock. They all stood up from their seats and looked at the hand that Tsukishima still had in his grip.

Hearing his name being called, Alex snapped out of his thoughts and immediately he frowned. He noticed the pain that was coming from the hand that Tsukishima held. Alex let go of the knife in his hand and retrieved it back into his storage ring.

A frown was the only reaction he gave to the pain coming from his hand and this surprised Tsukishima a bit. Most people would have already started wailing in pain.

Alex could recall the questions that he heard Tsukishima ask.

"He's a stalker and he has been following me around. I don't like it when people invade my private space. To me, it is sacred and can cost the life of another." Alex answered.

"That's why you were about to kill him? You do know that killing your fellow student in the academy is forbidden. We still have 4 dead bodies from last night and you were just about to add another one."

"Yes, I do know that we are not allowed to kill a fellow student in the academy. We can't say for sure if I would have killed him with that strike." Alex argued.

"But I do know for sure that the strike would have been enough to scare this guy away from my business," Alex stated.

"If I hadn't stopped you, your strike would have killed him." Tsukishima pointed out.

Alex smiled and looked at Tsukishima. "As I said, we don't know that for sure. You stopped me before I even made my strike." Alex insisted.

"Well then," Tsukishima released Alex's hand from his grip, the imprint of his fingers and palm were clearly evident on Alex's hand. "I think just this little that you have done is enough to scare this guy away." He finished.

Tsukishima looked at Gustavo. "Go back to your seat. Everyone should get seated." Tsukishima ordered.
