Chapter 154: hassan and hussein

'Where am I?' Alex thought to himself.

'Why am I moving?' He wondered.

'Guys?' He called out to his alters.

'Guys!?' He called again after waiting and not getting any reply from them. 'What the hell is going on?'

What Alex was seeing wasn't the treasure room, he saw himself walking through a busy street in the night time. This place was different from any architectural design that Alex had seen since he came to this side of the universe.

The place looked like it was a busy market but the structures of the buildings around were very simple. There were bamboo houses around and places that just had woods to hold up a cloth over their heads, like a roof. They were practically tents.

Most of the males around were walking shirtless and the women had cloths that only covered their chests, buttocks, and private parts. They had no qualms in showing the back and stomachs to the opposite sex. Whether young or old all of them dressed the same way. Alex saw some of the females with jewelry that resembled those that he saw in the treasure room.

And many of the females had piercings on their navels and noses. Almost all of them had the same color hair, black, and they all had their hair braided.

One of the peculiar things about the women that he had seen was that they were all beautiful in their own rights.

"Would you like to buy one of these?" An old woman asked and presented him with a rice cake that was wrapped in a leaf.

"No, thank you, ma'am." Alex heard himself reply.

'Wait, that doesn't sound like my voice and I didn't intend on giving the woman an answer. How did?' He was lost for words now.

He couldn't control his actions anymore so he chose to keep calm and continue to watch what was happening.

"Hussein!!" Alex saw his view change when he heard this name being called. It was like Alex was in another person's body, and he couldn't do anything but watch what the person was doing. He started getting agitated by his situation.

"Over here!" The same person that shouted that name said. The person that called out to him was a young man that looked like he was in his early 20s.

The guy was lean but muscular and had a '6 pack', his skin was tanned and brown. His hair was styled into a thin braid and extended to his chest. This young fellow was quite good looking.

The person that Alex was in, started jogging towards the guy that called out for Hussein.

'Hussein? Am I dreaming right now?' Alex didn't know what to think, he never expected something like this to happen after touching the glowing glass. 'This can't be a dream, everything here is too vivid to be a dream.' He concluded

"Hassan, I've been looking for you everywhere, the clan chief is mad that you weren't training when he came out of seclusion. Where were you?" Hussein spoke. To Alex, it was like he was the one speaking.

"I'm sorry brother, I found something, or should I say, someone? Just come with me, it's hard to describe. You see her with your own eyes, when you do you will understand why I haven't returned home." Hassan dragged Hussein by his arm and they left the busy street.

After running for a while, they arrived in front of an empty and dark bamboo hut. The bamboo hut was run-down and looked like it could collapse if anyone pushed it with a lot of strength behind their push.

"What are we doing here, Hassan? The clan chief will punish you if are not back before midnight and this time it won't be a light punishment." Hussein asked as he tried to calm himself. He had been patient but now he was getting impatient.

"When you see this, any punishment that our grandfather has for us will be worth it." Hassan scoffed and smirked. "Trust me brother." Hassan pushed the door of the bamboo hut open for his brother to enter.

Hussein stepped into the dark hut, the first thing that caught his eyes was the dim light of a candle.

-Gasped!

'I've never…' Alex became speechless when he saw what made Hussein gasp.

Hussein gasped when he saw a person lying next to the candle. It was a girl, one that he had never seen before. Just from what he was seeing with the help of little light that came from the candle, he was already taken away by the beauty of this girl. She was laid on a dirty blanket and stacks hay.

The girl had pink hair that stretched down to her knees. Her eyes were emerald and enchanting, her lips were dry and cracked at the moment, and nonetheless, it still looked like a piece of art to Hussein and Hassan. The girl had an emerald-colored gown on, the same shade as her eyes, but the gown had holes and burn marks. Like she was in a fight.

'This lady's beauty… Even grace can't compete with this, and that alone says a lot.' Alex too was mesmerized by the beauty of this particular woman.

Hussein's gaze traveled down to the girl's ample chest, down to her curvaceous waist. He returned his gaze to her face when he felt her gaze on him. He looked into her eyes again and this time, he had completely fallen for this foreigner. She looked so vulnerable at the moment.

"Why does she look like she's weak, is she sick?" Hussein turned and asked his brother.

"She's injured, I think. When I probed into her core I found out that it had several cracks on it and her life force continues to deplete." Hassan explained.

"Just from the color of her hair, I can tell that she's a foreigner," Hussein stated.

"Yeah." His brother concurred.

"But she's… beautiful," Hussein added.

"I didn't bring you here so that you can get enchanted by my woman," Hassan said sternly and glared at his brother.

Hussein locked eyes with Hassan and for the first time since he was capable of recollection, his brother looked at him with malice in his gaze. Nonetheless, it was not enough to make Hussein back away.

'Just because you found her first doesn't mean that she's yours, brother.' Hussein thought to himself.

'Huh? I can hear his thoughts…' Alex noticed. 'And I can also tell what emotion he's feeling now, that feeling of when you meet a rival of yours.'

"I brought you here so that you can help me take her back home. If I take her back by myself, then grandfather might kill her because of his anger, and I am already set to get punished once I return. If you take her back, the highest that's going to happen is you getting questioned. You can take her to the clan's physician and alchemist for treatment while I take my punishment." Hassan explained.

The two brothers were enchanted by the beauty of this injured foreigner.

Hussein didn't give a reply to his brother, he turned and faced the pink haired girl. "Are you his woman?" He asked.

"No… please, give me a bloodstone." The girl said in a low tone that was barely audible.

"Hussein turned and faced his brother, she rejected you. She's not yours, so do not blame me, brother."

Hussein walked towards the girl. "We have a lot of that back at our clan's home. I'll take you home so that you can get treatment." He stretched his hands out and was about to pick the girl up when his brother caught his hand.

"I'm Warning you, Hussein, I want her and she will be mine." He tightened his grip on his brother's hand. His grip was so tight that it stopped the blood in his veins from flowing from one side of Hussein's hand to the other.

'Why is he acting like this? They seemed like they had a good sibling relationship with each other. Don't tell me it's because of this girl?' Alex had a lot of questions now.

"We'll settle this matter at home, now let go of my hand, Hassan." Hussein released his aura and the walls of the bamboo hut collapsed, due to the pressure of his aura.

Hassan also released his aura and went head to head against his brother. It looked like they had equal strengths.

-Cough!

The pink-haired girl coughed out blood. The pressure from their aura wasn't helping her and only making things harder for her. "Please stop." She pleaded as tears formed at the corner of her eyes.

The brothers noticed that she now had fresh blood on her cloth and her lips, they retracted their auras and stopped.

"This is not the place to be doing this." Hussein forced his hand out of his brother's grip and picked the pink-haired girl bridal style. "Let's go home, I'll help you reduce your punishment by telling a lie to our grandfather. Besides, your cultivation have already caught up with mine, so the lie is going to be plausible."

-Whoosh!

Hussein left the vicinity.

Hassan started wondering why he almost fought with his brother that he has been with since he was a baby, over a stranger. He shook his head and decided to apologize to his brother when they got back home.

-Whoosh!

He too left the vicinity…
