Once Yan Shuyu found out about it, she was less willing to feed the little male lead. She was splitting it with her instant son for the most part and would feed Zhou Yi occasionally when his “Ah~~~~” was particularly eager.

With the three of them and only one thermos inside the car with very limited space, breakfast took them almost half an hour to finish. Once they were done, Yan Shuyu wiped the faces of the two kiddoes with wet napkins before she pulled her foundation out to re-powder herself.

She barely finished applying her lipstick when the car pulled up in front of the musical institution. By the time she put away her lipstick, Zhang Yuanjia and Zhou Yi had already been carried out of the car by Zhou Qinhe and were saying goodbye to Yan Shuyu while holding hands with each other. “Bye, Mom. We are going inside now.”

Yan Shuyu waved her hand at them from inside of the car. The two of them were perfectly capable of going inside by themselves, so she had no intention of getting out of the car. “Be good boys and listen to your teachers. We will be here to pick you up in the afternoon.”

Boss Zhou was slightly more responsible than her. He waited outside until the kids had walked inside and met up with some workers before he got back inside of the car. A familiar person walked out from the inside holding one kid in each hand and greeted him from afar. “Boss Zhou, are you the only one here to drop them off today?”

Ever since Yan Shuyu’s relationship had been exposed at Sunshine House, Yan Shuyu already realized that she would not be able to keep that a secret at the musical institution. She had given up even trying and just waved at him from inside of the car. “I’m here.”

“Ah, that’s what I thought.” Liu Ci didn’t even bother pretending to be surprised. “Boss Zhou will be accompanying you to your examination?”

Yan Shuyu nodded and Liu Ci teased, “You must be well prepared for today then?”

Yan Shuyu got what he was insinuating but said pridefully, “I feel very confident even if he isn’t coming with me.”

Liu Ci didn’t rush out just to tease her. He mainly wanted to remind her of what she needed to pay attention to. Then, he saw them off after checking with her to make sure that she had all of her IDs with her, etc. “Good luck. I will be waiting for your good news.”

Under the encouragement of both her boyfriend and her future boss, Yan Shuyu finished the examination under her best condition. It would be a few days before she found out the result, so Yan Shuyu didn’t pay it too much attention and went on with her normal life.

Winter vacation was getting close for Zhang Yuanjia and the teachers had started organizing the kids for rehearsals for their performances before the vacation. They have further notified Yan Shuyu to have her attend the rehearsals as much as she could and she could even bring a friend or two with her.

Yan Shuyu replied that she would.

Christmas would come immediately before the performances and Yan Shuyu, recalling the bracelet that the boss had given her, went to discuss with Manager Yang with her bank deposit.

“Christmas gift, eh?” Her little buddy, as a Second Generation Rich, asked her point blank. “Why don’t you first tell me what your budget is?”

Yan Shuyu reached out her shivering hand and finally gave him a number. Manager Yang was shocked speechless, “Your budget is 10,000 yuan?”

Yang Zifeng was shocked by her generosity. He gave her a very suspicious look and asked, “You came into some money recently or something? How are you so generous?”

Yan Shuyu couldn’t help but chuckle. She then rolled up her sleeves mysteriously and showed him the bracelet on her wrist.

The gift from the boss was an astronomical piece of jewelry and also the first gift after they have started dating.

Yang Zifeng was from an okay family, but he wasn’t so rich that he could spend money without even thinking about it. He was still surprised by the bracelet after he had seen it. “This is from Boss Zhou? He sure is a generous one. Is that for your birthday or something?”

“Nope. This is a gift that he brought back for me after his business trip,” said Yan Shuyu happily as she lowered her sleeve and shook her head.

“Wow. That’s what he brought back from a business trip?” Yang Zifeng couldn’t help but make fun of her. “I guess you didn’t come across some amount of money but hit the royal jackpot. As busy as Boss Zhou is, he must travel easily over 100 times a year.”

Yan Shuyu thought about his words and finally lamented, “I wish he will go on 365 business trips a year.”
