Chapter 230 - Give It To Me

"That was fun," Feng Xuan remarked when they stepped out of the strip club. The sun had completely gone down and the sky was dark. She took in the building. "Weird, I thought it would be bigger."

"It just looks big on the inside," Qing Chen answered.

Feng Xuan was grinning. "Where to next?"

"Not that far." Qing Chen took her hand and they walked for a few steps and then stopped. The next establishment was literally next to the strip bar.

Feng Xuan saw a painted sign on the closed door. 'No Sunrise Motel'. Her eyebrows furrowed. "That's a really bad name, Chen."

Qing Chen chuckled beside her. "If you're naming about a thousand small motels like this one, you're bound to run out of good names."

"Didn't you bother to rename it?" Feng Xuan felt a little hesitant to enter the place. Who would want to go somewhere where the sun did not rise?

"It works just fine."

"Would I see something unpleasant here?"

"Just a rat probably."

Feng Xuan shivered. She'd take seeing intestines over rats any day. Qing Chen opened the door and let her in. The first thing that she noticed was the smell of disinfectant. Not as strong as in the hospitals but enough to let the visitor know that something happened there that needed a lot of cleaning.

Surprisingly, the place seemed… fine. Feng Xuan had never been in a motel before. She had the luxury of always staying in hotels that she never really thought how this would look like. "Do they have room service here?" she quietly asked.

"Yes, for food."

She nodded approvingly. Well, people were bound to be hungry if they would be humping ALL NIGHT as there would No Sunrise here. She smiled to herself. That could be a good joke.

A woman was working behind the desk, dressed in a simple shirt and jeans. "Room?"

"Oh no, we're not checking in," she quickly said.

"Mind if we check some of the rooms?" Qing Chen asked.

The girl suddenly looked stunned and immediately stood up from her seat and bowed her head. "Yes, Mr. Qing." She grabbed a ring of keys and lead the way.

"She recognized you," whispered Feng Xuan.

"I think some of my lower managers put my picture around in case I do something like this."

"Random inspection?"

"It's usually Lok who does that."

The woman pushed open one of the doors. "You can leave us for a moment," Qing Chen said and the girl disappeared.

Feng Xuan got curious and let her hands wonder. The sheets and pillowcases were unstained and starched, fitting snugly over the mattress and pillows. There was a TV—she was even surprised it was a flatscreen and not the bulky ones. There was an airconditioner above, a small table and two chairs at one corner.

In the bathroom, there was a small heater and a shower. Drilled to the wall were liquid soap and shampoo cases. There was a toilet, sink, and a spotless mirror. Qing Chen was busy pressing the remote of the aircon when she finished her survey.

"How much per night?"

"It charges per hour," Qing Chen answered. "Three hours minimum."

Feng Xuan's face twisted. "You mean… just enough time for people to…" she could not finish her thought.

"Yes, wife."

"Man," she commented. "It's really convenient, huh?"

"It is." Qing Chen dropped the remote on the bed. "Wanna go?"

Feng Xuan narrowed her eyes. "We could stay for three hours," she smiled and walked towards him. She gave him a luscious kiss and he returned it, putting his hand on her lower back, pulling her closer.

Feng Xuan dropped her weight to fall on the bed but Qing Chen swung her upright.

"Nope," he said. "You're not going to lay down on that bed."

Just then they heard something against the wall. Repeated and rhythmic pounding—must be the bedframe.

"YES! Give it to me!" yelled the other girl from another room.

Feng Xuan's eyebrows raised. "Okay, I'm ready to go."

The two of them left that place like it was burning.

**

"That was traumatic," Feng Xuan laughed, shivering a little on the cold and partly because of what they heard. She could not imagine herself being that loud knowing that other people might hear her.

But as they passed by Lovely again, a thought entered her mind.

"Do the girls take things to the next level? You know… extra service and all that?"

"Extra service can be found in massages and spa services. We only pay the girls to dance but if they want to earn extra money, it's their risk."

Feng Xuan kept her eyes on her toes. "Well… what if they got bad customers?"

"As I said, it's their risk. But I got them a better healthcare insurance and they have scheduled regular check-ups." He slipped his fingers in between hers. "You didn't check the nightstand earlier. It's filled with protection."

Feng Xuan laughed.

"It's the least thing the management can do. It's not an easy job. One way or another, they would take a client to a bed. We just have to make sure that we provide them with the safety that they need."

"Aw, that's sweet, Chen," she cooed and hugged his arm. "How about the budget? Must be really expensive."

"It is," he admitted. "But the budget does not exist so…"

"What do you mean it does not exist?"

Qing Chen only grinned at her.

**

It took about five minutes of walking before they reached their new destination. They kept on moving forward and that meant they were farther from the sketchiest places.

The place was dank and the door was painted black and there was another layer with grills. It was manned by a huge guy at the door. The hallway was dark and but she could hear the cheers, indistinct conversations, and the noise of the machines, from the inside.

"The budget does not exist because… we have this."
