Chapter 72 - Seventy One: Muscles

It had been two weeks since Becca started living in Leo's house and she was still yet to try out the indoor pool while Leo used it and the upstairs gym almost everyday.

He worked so hard on his body just like he did on everything else. Leo had even gotten so busy lately that they barely got to spend enough time together.

Not that Becca was complaining about it, Leo was still one of the richest businessmen in the country so it was very understandable if he had a lot of work on his plate. Becca just thought it would be nice for them to spend more time together.

He did always make sure they had breakfast and dinner together, and he always got off work at an appropriate time so Becca shouldn't have been feeling neglected but she still did.

While Leo worked out, trying to make his already sexy body even sexier, he really didn't have a problem showing it. Becca, on the other hand, had become even more self conscious about herself.

Who could blame her? She was always surrounded by banging bodies all the time. There was Raquel's, the bodyguards', Leo's...

The man of the house was rippling with muscles. And if she thought he was hot the day she saw him without his shirt on, well, watching him getting out of the pool with water dripping down from his dark, sexy curls onto his tall, broad, sculpted body, while his swim trunks stretched over his... Package was a whole different story.

And as weird and wrong as it felt to Becca, she touched herself that day in the bathroom when Leo wasn't home, having that particular image in her head while doing it.

Her lust for Leo had done nothing but tripled these past few days and he knew about it, nothing ever escaped him, but still never tried touching her. Well aside from their usual kissing and cuddling, Leo had never touched her anyway else. Never touched her the way she wanted him to.

The man was playing hard to get and Becca saw through his game. He wanted her to ask for it, to beg for his naughty hands but Becca wouldn't do that. If he was going to be that way then she could too.

Two could play at that game. The question here was who was the better player?

A short answer was definitely not Becca, she was losing miserably and her sadist of a boyfriend was enjoying torturing her.

And just to push her even more to the edge, Leo stopped sleeping with a shirt on. It was like he magically turned shirtless every night right before bed. The man was truly evil.

Even after intentionally assaulting Becca with his shirtless body, Leo still wouldn't stay on his side of the bed and would always roll to her side, hugging her from behind.

Letting her feel the muscles flexing and relaxing around her while they slept and also his basketball bat through his pants when they woke up.

Yes, basketball bat, because that was what Becca honestly felt Leo was hiding in his pants.

She had no experience in that aspect so didn't know what exactly was considered the right size but also didn't need any form of experience in Leo's case to know he was huge... Monstrous even.

Today was Sunday, neither of them had work so they decided to go out for dinner and seeing as Leo would be the one picking the restaurant, Becca already knew he was going to choose some fancy, overly expensive place where a single meal cost an average American's biannual salary and guess what? She was right.

Leo picked the most fancy of them all, not because he liked the food there but because he felt Becca deserved the best of the best. The finest of everything. Even the place she ate at needed to be the best.

She didn't complain though, growing up as a Ramus had exposed her to this kind of luxury right from childhood so it didn't bother her.

They were shown to their table where they sat skimming through the menu.

" What do you want to have in the menu, my love?" The sexy beast spoke, holding the menu in his hands. His deep voice warm and inviting, like he hadn't been trying to kill her with arousals for the past few days.

Becca fought the urge to roll her eyes at him and picked up the menu as well. " There are just so much delicious looking meals here, I really don't know which one to choose." Becca said, staring down at the long list of food on the menu then she raised her head to glance at the mouthwatering delicacy sitting in front of her.

Becca saying she didn't know which to choose was a lie. She knew perfectly well what she wanted, it just wasn't on the menu.

" Let me order for the both of us then." Leo suggested, smiling sweetly at her and she nodded.

" Yes, I think that would be best." She agreed, smiling back at Leo who instantly signalled the waiter to come over and take the orders.

Waiting for the meals to be served, Becca noticed Leo's intense gaze upon her, the heat from his stares doing more than just piercing through her but also stirring up emotions deep inside of her. Making her heart skip a beat.

She wasn't a stranger to Leo's hot piercing gazes but always felt the same way she did when he first stared at her.

Hypnotized. Mesmerized. Enchanted. And now aroused.

The heat from his stares melted her insides, turning it to goo and the admiration in his eyes when he looked at her still gave her butterflies in her stomach.

Those majestic blue eyes of his did things to her, made her feel things she never thought she could. Things she had completely crossed out of her life but here he was, making her feel them.

She blinked, her lips stretched so much, it began to hurt. Leo coming into her life like this had been totally unexpected, though it was the best thing that had ever happened to her, it was still unplanned. He was supposed to just be her business partner but one thing led to the other and here they were, dating and even living happily together.

But just as Becca's heart flipped in her chest when she was with Leo, so would Regina when she found out that her baby girl was living with a man she wasn't married to yet.

She might even have a heart attack when she found out that they slept on the same bed.

Regina had always been a little old school. She believed a man and a woman shouldn't have anything to do with each other if not blessed by their parents and wedded on altar.

But for someone who had been drilled to believe that logic, Regina couldn't be blamed for thinking that way. Her parents had been so strict about everything, they literally told her who to marry.

Becca dropped her daze to the table, staring at it blankly. Her smile faltering slightly. She wondered if Regina would get mad at her for this, perhaps tell her to stop seeing Leo. Or even worse, tell Leo to stay away.

Knowing who her stepmother was, Becca could confidently say that Regina was more than capable of doing it.

Regina wasn't a big fan of Kristina and Liam's relationship, the fact that they practically kept it a secret from the start set her teeth on edge. And if it hadn't been for Kristina's pregnancy, there was a big possiblity of Regina denying them her blessings.

Regina really wasn't that hard to understand. She was a very straightforward person, a little petty due to old age but still straightforward. All her wanted was the best for her family but felt her children were making really bad relationship choices.

Leo noticed how absent minded Becca looked and grabbed her hand on the table, giving it a little squeeze. Becca jerked back to reality on feeling Leo's touch and looked up at him, her tender eyes holding his gaze.

" Are you okay?" Leo asked, his voice filled with concern.

' No, I'm afraid my stepmom won't accept you.' Becca said in her head but couldn't say it out loud.

" Yes, I'm fine." She chose to answer instead and fixed her smile back up. Leo nodded in response and their food was served not too long after that.

Once the waiter left, Becca instantly dug into her food, devouring it like a starved beast. But in her defense, food was the only thing that truly kept her mind off all the negative thoughts.

Leo just sat there looking all pretty, watching her eat as it gave him immerse satisfaction. Becca was hands down the most beautiful woman he had ever met. The cutest as well, especially when she had her cheeks stuffed with food.

He could literally just watch her all day and not get tired. Then for the first time since their meals were served, Becca looked up from her plate, her squishy cheeks filled with food like a little chipmunk as she stared at him.

She blinked and swallowed, colour flooding her cheeks. Leo bit his lip on a laugh, Becca was so fucking cute and so real as well.

Leo had honestly lost count of how many rich snobbish women he had met who would just eat two spoonfuls of food and deem themselves full, but not Becca though.

Despite her wealthy background, Becca could turn into a beast at the face of food, especially when it involved her favorites and plus she wasn't snobbish at all. She was the sweetest and most jovial person he had ever met.

Leo didn't even know if it was possible to love her more than he already did because at this rate, no one could love her half as much as he did.

Still staring at her like he always did, marveling at her divine beauty, wondering what the fuck he did so right to have a woman like her in his life, Leo once again forgot to eat.

The food and everything else literally faded away when he was this focused on her.

Not even a culinary masterpiece could stand a chance against the delicious sight he was beholding.

So tasty, mouthwatering even but all hell broke loose when she ran her tongue slowly over her lips, licking off the sauce on it.

It drove Leo crazy, feeling the last strand of his sanity snap and a big twitch in his cock.

Was she doing it unintentionally or simply trying to get back at him for torturing her last night?

If they had been at home, he would have pulled her to straddle him and kiss her hard until she learned her lesson but alas, they were in a fucking restaurant.

Perhaps that was why she was doing it, because she knew he wouldn't be able to do anything to her here. The saucy little minx.

After repeatedly stuffing her face, Becca dropped her cutlery and used the napkin to wipe her mouth.

" I have to use the ladies' room, excuse me." Becca dragged her chair back and Leo nodded in response. She stood up and walked towards the restrooms.

Opening the entrance door, Becca paused when she saw a familiar looking face standing next to the sink.

Raquel Gonzalez.

Becca narrowed her eyes at Raquel but was taken aback by the tears that rolled down her cheeks and the redness of her eyes. She was crying but why?

Until now, Becca had always thought evil people never cried. They had no reason to.

The only emotions they ever felt were happiness and satisfaction from other people's misfortune but here in front of her was Raquel Gonzalez, the meanest bitch at her old school, the same girl who made Becca's highschool life a living hell. Here she was crying for only God knows what.

Becca took a step forward, the angel and demon in her tugging at each other. A voice inside of her pushing her to be a good person and try to comfort Raquel. While the other voice wanted her to be a complete bitch and ignore Raquel. Rub some salt in her wounds if necessary and as much as Becca wanted to be a bitch in this situation, the good person in her wouldn't allow it.

Grumbling under her breath, Becca dragged her feet towards Raquel and tapped her on the shoulder.

Startled, Raquel quickly began washing away her tears with water so no one would see. She hated crying, it made her feel weak but couldn't help herself because her entire life would soon be ruined.

Turning around to see who tapped her, Raquel's eyes widened in shock on seeing Becca standing behind her. Becca was the last person she had expected to see there.

' If Becca had been standing there all this time, it meant she heard everything.' Raquel said to herself, scanning Becca's face for any hint of laughter or sadistic joy but found nothing.

She really wasn't happy? Her arch nemesis was crying weak and defenceless and she wasn't happy about it? Impossible!

The truth to the matter was Becca really didn't give a fuck, she did well to mind her own business all the time and would have done the same thing in this case if it wasn't for her stupid conscious.

Damn her for being a good person.

" Are you okay?" Becca asked with a little concern on her face.

" Yes, I'm fine." Raquel continued wiping off the evidence of her crying. " What are you even doing here?"

" Well aside from crying, what else do you think people do in restrooms?" Becca retorted.

Yeah yeah, Becca shouldn't have been sarcastic when someone was hurting like that but she couldn't help herself. This was still Raquel we are talking about.

" I wasn't crying." Raquel denied but her swollen red eyes betrayed her.

" Sure you weren't." Becca rolled her eyes, folding her arms over her chest. Again, she couldn't help herself.

" So what if I was crying? Why? Came to gloat?" Raquel lifted her chin up with pride and her eyes raked Becca, stunned at how beautiful she was becoming by the day. Becca was really glowing.

' I wish.' Becca said to herself, scoffing.

" Are you going to tell me what's wrong or not?" Becca asked, inpatient. Tapping her foot on the tiled floor.

" Eww, why would I tell you anything?" Raquel asked, looking disgusted by Becca's presence.

Becca huffed. Unfolding her arms, she turned her back to Raquel and acted like she wanted to storm out of the place.

" Fine, suit yourself." Becca took two steps away forward, smirking when she heard Raquel calling out to her.

" It's all my parents fault." Raquel started and Becca's smile grew wider as spun on her heels.

Becca knew Raquel was being petty, it was written all over her. She was vulnerable but didn't want to admit it and Becca, who was opportuned to have been raised by the queen of pettiness herself, already knew how to handle people like that.

" And what did they do?" Becca asked, taking a step towards Raquel.

Raquel look at Becca and snorted. " I'm only telling you this to get it off my chest, not because I want to." She wiped her face again.

" Hey, you do you." Becca smiled at her.

" Okay, here goes nothing. My parents company isn't doing too well. Who am I kidding? Their business is sinking faster than the Titanic." Raquel sobbed. " And now they want me to get married to this rich, annoying man who is just as rude as that dude you were with that day but just not as handsome. They say it's for the sake of the company."

On hearing this, Becca frowned. Which type of parents would do that to their only daughter?

Making her marry someone she doesn't even like just for their company's sake?

" That's horrible! They shouldn't do that to you." Becca said, annoyed.

" Tell that to my father, he was the one who started the whole marriage talk." Raquel shook her head. " I don't want to get married now, Becca. Especially to that dick I'm suppose to be having dinner with right now. All he talks about are his many accomplishments and always cuts me off. Like what he was saying even meant shit."

Short of words, all Becca could do was rub Raquel's back in circular motion to calm her down.. It always worked when Leo did it.
