61 Adventure Classes

After the day Natsu had sex with Amaterasu, nothing much changed, and life inside the Great Tokyo Dungeon went on in the same way.

Other than looking over the women whom he had given a Dungeon each to manage, Natsu spent the remaining time training with Esmeralda, and flirting with Grayfia.

Of course, this even included the times Natsu had sex with Rias whenever the two of them felt like it.

While this was happening inside the Great Tokyo Dungeon, Sun Ai's Dungeon finally started receiving adventurers who noticed that her Dungeon was no longer a Dungeon of death which they didn't receive any rewards from.

Luckily, despite being tempted to make all of her monsters stay near the entrance and kill everyone, Sun Ai held back her greed this time.

...

It was now the sixth month since the DH System taken over Earth, and a special purchase was gaining a lot of popularity in the adventurers.

And that was Adventure Classes.

Until now, all the adventurers went inside the Dungeons with metal weapons they managed to find outside, and then switched to the whatever weapon they obtained from the Dungeon Monsters dying.

It didn't matter if it was a short knife, sword, spear, halberd, axe, or even if it was an arrow.

As long as an adventurer received a weapon as a drop, they would immediately start using them as their primary weapon.

However, along with time, the adventurers who were bored and randomly scrolled through the shop they had access to, found something special.

Adventure Classes.

At first, even though many felt curious about them, not many dared to buy them, due to how costly they were.

Still, it was only a matter of time before some of them bought them, and the others learnt of the benefits the Adventure Classes offered them.

The Adventure Classes available to through the shop, were only Basic classes like Swordsman, Mage, Hunter, Knight, Healer, and so on.

As for Special, Rare, and Legendary Classes, they couldn't be bought through the DH System Shop, and could only be obtained.

What the Basic Classes offered weren't any special skills, bonus stats, weapons, or any such things. Instead, depending on the class the adventure had bought, they would be able to deal more damage with their weapon of choice.

For example, Swordsman would deal extra damage when using swords, Mages would deal extra damage when using mana based attacks, and so on.

However, even though the classes offered extra damage, it wasn't enough to allow the average adventure to turn OP and fight the Dungeon Monsters one vs one, or conquer a Dungeon singlehandedly.

So what was it that made these Adventure Classes obtain such popularity among the adventurers, and dread among the Dungeon Masters?

It was actually quite simple.

Imagine a single monster that had 100 points of health, and 100 adventurers who could deal 1 point of damage before they died.

In an ideal situation, as the adventurers fought against the monsters one by one, it would be the last adventurer, that is, the hundredth one who manages to finally kill the injured monsters.

However, with the addition of an Adventure Class, suppose the damage they dealt was increased by 2, or maybe 3 points, what would happen then?

The number of adventurers who needed to die, for the last one to take advantage of would be reduced by a lot.

Not to mention, what would happen when ten or so adventurers with Basic Classes fought against a single Dungeon Monster.

Thus, even though the classes didn't guarantee anything, to the adventurers, they were being bought continuously by all the adventurers.

After all, something was better than nothing.

As for the Dungeon Masters, even though they hadn't started incurring losses. They did, however, start to incur higher expenditure costs than before.

This was because, due to the addition of Basic Classes to the adventurers, the number of monsters that were dying in a single day had increased by around 20%.

And this wasn't just due to the adventurers buying Basic Classes, but, because the number of adventurers who were raiding a Dungeon was also increasing by the day.

Due to this, other the Dungeon Masters who were receiving more XP, and DP by the day, all details of the Dungeons were being released and spread over the DH System social network.

These included, the Dungeons' names, their locations, the types of monsters inside them, if they had one floor or two, and so on.

Also, it was around this time that Natsu's Great Tokyo Dungeon had received a sudden influx in popularity.

This was because, the Great Tokyo Dungeon was the only Dungeon that had special fire-type monsters.

And killing these fire-type monsters not only gave a higher amount of XP, but the drops obtained from killing these fire-type monsters were also much stronger and special than the normal drops.

However, along with these benefits, the danger of raiding the Great Tokyo Dungeon was much higher than raiding the normal Dungeons.

Fire-type monsters, were much stronger than their ordinary counterparts.

Along with this, the added presence of lava streams along the walls and floor increased the danger and chances of dying inside the Great Tokyo Dungeon by a lot.

Still, once the details of the drops obtainable inside the Great Tokyo Dungeon were released, the number of adventurers in the remaining two Havens inside Japan, that had thoughts on migrating to the Haven near the Great Tokyo Dungeon was a slot.

Even though they could die during the journey, and even after entering the Great Tokyo Dungeon, it wasn't guaranteed for them to be successful and obtain the special fire type weapons they set out for, the humans who were bound by greed still went through with it, and in this way increased the number of adventurers raiding the Great Tokyo Dungeon by a lot, and brought it very close to reaching Lvl 2.
