20 Blind shooting

Staring blankly for a while, Natsu immediately realized how strong his Legendary Class was.

Even though it was Erza who used her mana to fill his Elemental Guns, they would still show the same strength when a max Lvl 1 Natsu would load it.

Smiling smugly from realizing how powerful a Legendary Class was, and how lucky he was to obtain it, Natsu once again began focusing on the Dungeon.

And it was now that he saw that his shot hadn't just killed the man who was trying to attack him, but also a Dwarf which was standing a bit far away behind him.

It was just that the Dwarf was still bleeding and hadn't yet died, that Natsu hadn't received a notification that he had successfully killed it.

At the same time Natsu began thinking what type of an idiot would send out Dwarfs to fight.

In fact, Natsu hadn't even noticed that there were two Dwarfs close to his, until one of them had almost died from his gunshot.

Ignoring the almost dead Dwarf, since his guns together could only fire a total of 12 bullets after being fully loaded, and using another bullet on it would be an obvious waste, Natsu realized that he was lacking bullets to kill all the monsters.

After all, it took quite a lot of time to load each of his Elemental Gun, and it wasn't something which could be done on the spot.

Therefore, Natsu decided to only use the remaining 5 bullets in his gun to fire and familiarize himself with his Elemental Gun, and save all the bullets in his other gun.

As for how he would kill the remaining monsters, he would order Erza to kill them all.

When a group enters the Dungeon and kills a monster, 2/3 of the total XP obtainable from it is shared equally among the number of individuals in the group who kill it.

While the remaining 1/3 is given to the one who kills it.

Luckily, a Personal Guard didn't have any use of XP, and therefore all of the XP obtained from Natsu and Erza killing any monster would totally be given to Natsu.

While Natsu was lost in such thoughts, the Goblin finally died, and the DH System sent Natsu his long awaited notification.

[Killed a Lvl 1 Dwarf. Obtained 50 XP.]

Once this notification appeared, Natsu hastily opened his status to see how it had changed.

[Name : Natsu

Class : Dungeon Master (Lvl 1), Legendary Class - Elemental Shooter (Lvl 1/ XP :50/100)

Number of Dungeons : 1

Strength : 7

Mana : 0

Vitality : 9

Agility : 8]

Seeing his status, Natsu was filled with many questions, but he was sure that most of them would be answered once he killed another Dwarf.

With such thoughts, Natsu raised his gun which caused all the humans and monsters to tremble, and aimed it towards another Dwarf, which wasn't far from the one he just killed.

Pulling the trigger, Natsu effortlessly killed his second Dwarf of the day.

This time, however, Natsu had shot it intentionally and aimed for the Dwarf's head, due to which it instantly died.

[Killed a Lvl 1 Dawrf. Obtained 50 XP.]

Receiving the same notification as before, Natsu reopened his status, which as he expected answered a lot of his question.

[Name : Natsu

Class : Dungeon Master (Lvl 1), Legendary Class - Elemental Shooter (Lvl 1/ XP :0/100)

Number of Dungeons : 1

Strength : 7

Mana : 0

Vitality : 9

Agility : 8

Free Stats : 1]

Like he had guessed, just killing 2 Dwarfs wasn't going to increase the Level of his Legendary Class.

On the other hand, once the tally of his XP reached 100, it had reset into 0, and instead gave him 1 Free Stat. And this most likely could be used to increase his stats.

Very curious to try it out, Natsu ignored the various looks he was receiving and started thinking on which Stat he should invest.

While he did know what each Stat represented, the problem was that he didn't know how much effect adding 1 point of Free Stat would bring forth.

That's why after thinking for a few seconds, Natsu decided to go with his Mana Stat.

Not thinking too much since it would only lead to him second guessing himself, Natsu directly invested his first Free Stat into Mana.

The next instant Natsu felt warmth originating from his inside, and at the same time a stream of warm energy made its way inside his body from the outside.

Spreading his palms around and stretching his arms, Natsu looked around in surprise towards this new source of energy which he couldn't completely comprehend, and only feel for now.

But, even though he could only feel it, Natsu realized that he was completely surrounded by mana.

Not just him. Everything and everyone including the monsters, Dungeon walls, and even the small rock in front of him contained mana!

Wait... Not everyone contained mana.

Because, of the remaining 3 humans, only one of them possessed mana. And that too, was a very minuscule amount of mana.

If he wasn't wrong, that woman must have also invested a single point in her Mana Stat.

Ooohhh... She's quite good looking.

Shaking such thoughts away, Natsu rechecked his situation and understood that he could only sense mana, and not use it.

At least not yet, he couldn't.

But, as Natsu closed his eyes and deeply concentrated, he could barely estimate the position of living beings which were emitting mana.

The only drawback was that he couldn't sense farther than five feet, and even within the radius of five feet, Natsu could only sense where the creature which was possessing mana was at.

He couldn't tell which Race the creature belonged to, its size, if it was about to attack, and so on.

Not thinking too much about all of these limitations, since Natsu guessed that increasing his mana would do the job. And therefore, he raised his head while his eyes were still closed causing the remaining three humans to tremble and think of running the other way.

In the end, however, they were too slow because Natsu had already pulled the trigger and shot at his target.
