11 Carla the Fairy

Looking back towards the Fairy who was looking at him, Natsu unconsciously stretched his finger forwards and touched her cheek with it.

Upon touching the tiny human with wings, Natsu could feel how soft her skin was.

Hearing how cute the Fairy's voice was, Natsu chuckled and began rubbing his finger until the Fairy's face turned red and her eyes looked like she was about to cry.

Shouting loudly, the Fairy flew and increased the distance between them and looked towards Natsu with an aggrieved expression.

But Natsu felt that the name quite suited her, who had splendid white coloured wings out of which sparkly dust fell.

Bobbing her head which caused her short white hair to move around, Carla said, "How can Carla help you, Master?"

"Wait a minute, there's something else I need to first."

Carla nodded her head and flew even closer to Natsu, and sat on his shoulder while enjoying the scent his body was releasing.

"Rias, how many ways are there to control the monsters and limit their area inside the Dungeon?"

Smiling brightly towards this question which she could answer, and not suggest, Rias said, "You can either convey what you want out of them with your words, or use the Dungeon interface to assign them a location and keep them from leaving that spot."

Thinking for a split second, Natsu decided with the second option since the first one would form an informal chain of command, which he didn't want.

Opening the Dungeon map, Natsu could now see the whole Dungeon's layout, and the number of monsters inside it.

Natsu's current dungeon didn't look anything special with an entrance followed by a long and wide cave which connected to the huge empty space he was currently in.

According to the map, Natsu could see that the Dungeon could be extended a lot more on every side, especially around the tunnel which connected the wide open space to the entrance.

However, Natsu currently didn't have enough points to do any of them.

Therefore, he teamed up a Goblin and a Kobold each and placed them in five locations where small rocks gave them cover.

Next, he looked towards Carla and said, "Later on, tell the Goblins and Kobolds to work together and prioritize on killing the intruders using schemes, instead of fighting them head on."

Nodding her head Carla was about to fly away, when Natsu held her by the leg and pulled her back.

"Bad Master, is taking advantage of me again!"

"I said to tell them later, not now."

Pouting from thinking that she was being unfairly treated Carla once again sat on Natsu's shoulder, causing Rias to lightly chuckle.

"For now, ask the Dwarf regarding when he can start making weapons for my monsters."

Despite having summoned 5 Goblins, and 5 Kobolds, none of them had any armour, and their weapons were made from wood with only the tips and blades being made of metal.

Due to this, Natsu was very eager to give them real weapons and armours which would increase their strength and survivability.

As Carla conveyed Natsu's words to the only short Dwarf with a long beard, he showed Natsu three fingers.

Translating the other way as well, Carla said, "The Dwarf says it'll take him 3 days to mine the required materials to set up a place where he can start forging weapons at."

Nodding his head Natsu saw that the male Dwarf had a lot of items with him including a hammer, pickaxe, and a few more due to which he didn't offer any more assistance and ordered the Dwarf to get to it.

Once all the monsters other than Carla had been sent away, Natsu first changed his clothes during which Carla kept on calling him a pervert and peeked through the gap in her fingers.

Next, Natsu used Carla properly and made her use her magic and arrange the various furniture close to the wall, and giving it a pseudo room like feel.

"Now tell me Carla, what else can you do?"

"Hehehe, I can do a lot of things, Master."

Showing a triumphant smile, Carla puffed her breasts which were quite good for her size, and continued speaking.

"Other than moving things, and communicating with every type of monster, as long as I have water, and seeds I can hasten the growth of plants and provide everyone inside the Dungeon with food."

It was only now that Natsu realized he forgot about food completely.

"Rias, do I need to feed all the monsters?"

Shaking her head, Rias said, "Not all monsters need to eat, darling. Most of them will consume the flesh of the intruders they kill, before their bodies disappear."

"Other than that, the Dungeon will also keep their stomachs full at all times during mana, so that they won't feel exhausted due to not having any food."

"However, there are indeed a few monsters who you will need to feed. But, most of them are high level so you don't have to worry about them for now, darling."

Sighing from the fact that he didn't need to feed the various monsters, Natsu began pondering over what he should do for food.

"Darling, since you are most likely the first one who is going to use the lucky draw, I suggest trying it out since you might obtain what you need from it."

"I don't know the reason, but using a lucky draw in the early stages always fetches items which you need the most. However, after the lucky draw has been used many times it gives random items, and no longer gives you what you need."
