Chapter 146 - You Are The Bastard Marvin?!

"Marvin, keep attacking the same spot!" Hecathe shouted as he instructed the boy, however, this instruction was also heard by the mecha-suit and the man surely didn't look to be happy as he heard Hecathe calling Marvin's name.

"Marvin?!" The mecha-suit repeated as he gritted his teeth and turned to look at Marvin.

Hecathe gulped as his eyes widened ever so slightly.

His tongue had slipped... And he regretted it...

He was not supposed to reveal Marvin's real name but it had already been done.

"You're the bastard Marvin?!" The mecha-suit exclaimed angrily as he glared at the boy and the aura around this mecha-suit seemed to have changed yet again.

LeiLei sighed as she rubbed her head in disbelief and disappointment. The girl already knew that Raven was also called Marvin and this was because she had heard the name slip from Hecathe's mouth countless times, and hence, the girl was not the least bit shocked to hear the name that she also occasionally used while referring to the boy.

Marvin gulped as he cursed under his breath and jumped back a few steps as a precaution.

Marvin was infamous among the mecha-suits and the reason why he was so hated by these metallic giants was because he had betrayed Alphius.

According to the rumors, Alphius was like a god to most of the mecha-suits and hence, the one who betrayed their god was nothing more than a demon that needed to be burned in hell for all of eternity.

To put it in simple words, Alphius was a God to them and Marvin was hated by them all.

From the current expression plastered on the mecha-suit's face, it could be clearly seen that this rumor wasn't baseless.

The mecha-suit's really did hate Marvin to the core.

Marvin gulped as he looked at the mecha-suit who didn't seem to care about Hecathe anymore and straightforwardly focused all of his attacks on Marvin.

The mecha-suit pulled out a small handgun and immediately shot it at Marvin without any second thoughts.

His actions were impulsive and quick, but it didn't look like there would ever come a day when he would really regret this decision.

The punch thrown at Marvin was strong and if it hadn't been for LeiLei's fast thinking, then the mecha-suit would have really succeeded and killed Marvin.

LeiLei clicked her tongue with a frown on her face as she commented, "You better keep your guards up, Marvin. This mecha-suit is not playing around anymore."

Although LeiLei had temporarily saved Marvin by teleporting the bullet away from him, she still warned the boy because she knew that the demeanor around the mecha-suit had drastically changed.

Even Hecathe couldn't help but nod his head with a sigh as he heard the girl, "He's trying to seriously kill you this time."

"..." Marvin pursed his lips into a thin line as he heard this and didn't dare say anything to that.

It didn't take a genius to understand the seriousness of the situation.

The mecha-suit also looked to be focused as he continuously kept on attacking the boy. He tried to find an opening, but Marvin was also not casual this time as he was forced to seriously fight against the mecha-suit.

The bullets could be avoided with the help of LeiLei and her ability, however, to stop the punches and kicks that came for him was not something that could be considered that easy, especially not if the opponent throwing these physical attacks had a metallic indestructible suit covering his body.

Marvin's eyebrows furrowed together and he continued to take steps back as he avoided all the punches and kicks that were being thrown at him.

Hecathe could take the punches and still survive because he was inside Alphius's body which had a special ability to regenerate itself. It was only natural that Hecathe could handle the mecha-suit and his punches, however, Marvin was not the same as Hecathe. He didn't have any regeneration abilities so if he were to be punched a few times by this mecha-suit, he couldn't be too sure whether he'd survive or not.

Hecathe frowned as he tried to attack the mecha-suit from behind, but this time, it wasn't easy for Hecathe to land a clean blow.

The mecha-suit was constantly moving and on his guard as well so every time Hecathe threw a punch or a kick at him, the man would simply avoid it effortlessly.

At the end of the day, Hecathe could sense that the mecha-suit was no longer fighting against him and was completely focused on killing Marvin.

Marvin and Hecathe shared a look of understanding and Hecathe sighed as he softly nodded his head and stepped back from the fight.

It was best just to let Marvin handle this since Hecathe couldn't really put an end to this mecha-suit's rage.

He wanted to help Marvin since Marvin had also stepped forward to help him just a few minutes ago, however, although Hecathe wanted to help the boy, he was still not able to do it.

LeiLei also shook her head in disbelief as she saw Hecathe stepping back from the fight.

The girl hadn't even tried to openly join the fight. She had surely helped the two from the sidelines by looking out for their backs but that was about it. She didn't bother even trying to engage in hand-to-hand combat with this mecha-suit that was much bigger and stronger than her because she was well aware of her limits.

Although she wasn't a bad fighter, it was still impossible for her to win against this mecha-suit if she were to rely on her fists.

"Sir, do you know what Mecha-suits are made up of?" LeiLei asked as she innocently tilted her head.

Hecathe's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as he heard this question.

With such an intense fight going on in front of them, why would the girl be more interested in knowing what the mecha-suits are made up of...?

It simply made no sense!

LeiLei smiled thinly as she waited patiently for Hecathe to give her an answer.

"Why are you asking that?" Instead of giving a straight answer, Hecathe asked back with a frown that was apparent on his face.

LeiLei sighed as she shook her head and responded, "Just answer the question. What are the mecha-suits made up of?"

Hecathe looked to be a bit suspicious of the girl as he heard this, but he still couldn't bring himself forward to give an answer so he simply waited on the spot for the girl to continue speaking.

LeiLei shook her head in disbelief as she got this wordless response and spoke up, asking another question this time, "What do mutants absolutely love to eat?"

Hecathe's face seemed to have cringed up as he got even more confused after hearing this question.

At first, he couldn't see any connection between the two questions. To him, it sounded nothing more than random questions that LeiLei was asking just for fun, however, this was simply not it.

Hecathe had to think about it for a few minutes before he realized the connection between the two questions and he got surprised as he understood that there really was a connection between the two questions.

Both the questions had the same answer!

The man gulped as he put the two pieces together and made sense of what the girl was trying to tell him.

"Zelium..." Hecathe muttered as his eyes widened ever so slowly, "It's Zelium!"

LeiLei chuckled as she heard the man exclaim in joy, "That's right. It's a bit disappointing to see that master hadn't thought of this."

Hecathe gulped as he heard this and he couldn't help but feel a little impressed by the girl and her quick thinking.

The mecha-suit was made to be indestructible and the main material used that helped in the working of the suit was Zelium that the mutant's loved to eat.

Alphius had created the mecha-suit for the people who had no abilities and hence, although it was more powerful than the ability users, it was not indestructible in front of a bunch of hungry mutants.

The mutants that Hecathe had previously invited were waiting on the spot patiently with their droll trailing down their fangs and dropping to the ground.

The sight was truly a bit disgusting, however, Hecathe couldn't help but smile brightly as he saw this.

It was a bit shocking for him that he wasn't the one who had come up with this idea.

The only reason why the mutants weren't killing the mecha-suit was because Hecathe had ordered them not to. If it hadn't been for that then the mecha-suit would have truly been gobbled up by the mutants without any mercy.

Hecathe's eyes narrowed down on the mutants and the mutants seemed to have sensed that Hecathe wanted to say something so they all immediately turned to look at Hecathe.

"Just make sure not to kill him," Hecathe spoke with a dry chuckle as he commanded the mutants.
