Chapter 300 - Cap 278: Past, Discovery (4)

"And then I said, 'Ero Sennin, look behind you'..." - said Kurama as he looked at the two blue-haired women - "He slowly looked back, only to turn pale when a 'small' group of women were silently watching him with multiple blades in their hands"

Konan's (?) lips trembled at how funny the situation was, although the original Konan only looked at the redhead with her cold eyes.

"You should smile more" - said Kurama as he shook his head when he noticed the almost zero change in the expression of the original blue-haired woman.

"We have known each other for a long time, so it is obvious that you should know by now that I am not the type of person who smiles a lot," replied Konan while giving him a blank look.

The two shinobis had been practicing some things, taking advantage of the fact that they could invoke almost anything to this place because they were inside the woman's head, as well as the fact that the time was much longer than outside.

"You should relax a little, Konan" - replied Kurama as he shook his head.

"I will do so when I am strong enough to be able to defend myself" - answered Konan with neutrality - "I have had enough of being considered weak by my companions, especially by those bastards Zetsu and Obito"

Kurama said nothing more, he just continued to help the woman as he saw time moving on.

"That woman..." - mumbled Konan(?) as she shook her head because she was noticing that this was taking too long - "I guess I'll have to use plan B"

* * * * *

"It's a little confusing to know how long we've been locked up in this place..." - murmured Kurama as he let out a sigh.

". . ." - Konan said nothing in response, she just watched the sky in silence as she noticed how the clouds began to move - "Honestly, I feel that being locked up in this place is not so bad... no worries, no fears, no weakness, just you, me, and my annoying other selves..."

"But we can't stay in this place forever, because this is just an illusion" - replied Kurama as he shook his head.

"An illusion..." - Konan murmured as she closed her eyes for a few seconds - "But... an illusion that I don't want to wake up..."

Kurama gave her a look before shaking his head - "An illusion, it is an illusion, just a residual image, an ephemeral landscape that can explode at any second like a bubble"

Konan was silent when she heard this, only to frown when she felt a chill run down her back

"What's going on?" - Kurama asked, noting the woman's sudden change.

"I don't know... I just feel that something very bad is about to happen..." - said Konan as she looked at the redhead,

Kurama frowned when he heard this because within a person's mental space, they had better senses and instincts, often making it easier to feel the danger that was approaching them - "How dangerous?"

"That's the strange thing, I don't feel danger..." - replied Konan as she frowned again - "It's as if it were something bad, but not to the point of threatening my life..."

". . ." - Kurama relaxed a bit, only to frown when he noticed that the inner Konan was nowhere to be found - "And your other self?"

". . ." - Konan looked around, only to also frown because she didn't feel her inner self either - "I have no idea"

The two looked at each other in confusion, only to open their eyes in surprise when they heard the voice of the 'person' they were looking for.

"I am sorry to have to do this, but I have no choice but to put my cards on the table..." - said Konan(?) as she appeared next to the Konan who represented her l.u.s.t - "This is taking too long, a time that is crucial not only for us, but also for Nagato..."

"!" - Konan opened her eyes when she heard this because she was so focused on her situation that she had completely forgotten about her only remaining friend - "Nagato..."

"Right, remember that Nagato is in a bad situation" - answered Konan(?) while looking neutrally at the external self - "But look at you here, praying that this illusion will continue for all the eternity..."

". . ." - Konan could only look at the floor in shame, only to shake her head and look at her inner self - "Tell me then, what do I have to do?"

"I told you, we have to become one again," answered Konan (?) as she snorted angrily.

"I can't find a point that connects us, so it's impossible," replied Konan as she shook her head.

"That's why I brought my sister," replied Konan(?) as she sighed with grief. "Honestly, I didn't want to do this because I feel that things will get out of control, but I have no choice but to do it..."

"What are you planning to do?" - asked Kurama as he frowned.

"L.u.s.t, it's different from me, she can make direct contact with my outer self," replied Konan(?) as she shook her head. "That means she can merge smoothly with her, making her emotions come out again in the process"

"Why didn't you tell me that before?" - Konan asked with a frown because this sounded too easy.

"Because I want to see you happy, not turned into a whore," replied Konan(?) as she shook her head. "Look, l.u.s.t with love is not a bad thing, that's why I wanted us to become one again first, but I realized that's not possible because you keep unconsciously rejecting me"

Konan tried to say something, only to feel the words getting stuck in her throat.

"See? You can't lie in your mental space because it's connected directly to your subconscious" - sighed Konan(?) as she shook her head - "Konan, I love you because we are the same person and that's why I know you need more than a little push to be able to take the first step..."

Internal Konan quickly made a hand seal - "I'm sorry, Kurama-san"

"I'm sorry?" - asked Kurama in confusion, only to open his eyes in surprise when he noticed how his body seemed to be trapped by invisible chains - "What are you doing?"

"This is my mind, Kurama-san, here I am invincible" - answered Konan(?) as she shook her head - "Here I can do whatever I want, but that doesn't come to the point..."

Kurama frowned when he noticed that if he used force to break his imprisonment, he would practically have to attack the conscience of the blue-haired woman, and although they were still not intimate, with all the time they spent together the two became friends.

"I'm sorry..." - apologized again Konan(?) as she made a second hand seal - "I promise to release you when you start doing it"

". . ." - Kurama frowned before feeling his bind weakening slightly. He slowly looked in the direction of the outer Konan, only to notice how it seemed to be concentrating on something.

"A wonderful effort, my outer self, but you have to remember that I have been in this place much longer than you think, so my control is much greater," said Konan(?) as she shook her head.

"Ugh..." - Konan could only groan in pain as she grabbed her head.

"There are other ways to do this," said Kurama as he looked at the inner Konan.

"I know... but time is not enough, not with the speed this is going on" - replied Konan(?) as she sighed with regret - "Believe me, I don't want to do this either because I am practically releasing one of the reasons that destroyed our life"

Kurama saw how the eyes of the Konan that represented her l.u.s.t began to glow slightly. He knew immediately that the seal that had trapped that personality was being broken.

"S-Stop... I don't want... to experience that again..." - grunted Konan as she grabbed her head.

"Believe me, I know, and I don't want to experience that again either, but..." - said Konan(?) as she disappeared - "It's the only option"

"Fufufu" - the Konan who represented her l.u.s.t only smiled when she noticed how she could finally move her body - "Ara? Aren't you a handsome guy?"

". . ." - Kurama only gave the last Konan a blank look, who seemed to be devouring him with her gaze.

"I have never seen such a handsome man, tell me... Do you want to have a good time with Onee-chan?" - asked the third Konan with a smile full of d.e.s.i.r.e, only to frown when she noticed how her movements seemed to freeze - "Really? More than 10 years without being able to move a muscle, and the first thing that happens when I am released is that you try to lock me up again?"

"G-Go away..." - grunted Konan as she continued to grab her head.

"Allow me to decline, I have been out of the game for a long time and I wish for some action" - replied the Third Konan while snorting with disdain - "And as a note, do not try to blame me for all your sufferings after the loss of our beloved and our son, I am only the result of your weakness, my original self..."

". . ." - Konan tried to defend himself, only to notice how her words had once again become stuck in her throat.

"You see? Unconsciously you know that everything is YOUR fault" - said the Konan who represented the l.u.s.t of the blue-haired woman as she walked to her original self.
