Chapter 260 - Extra 7: Inari, the Strongest Disciple (2)

Two years had passed since I arrived in Uzushiogakure no Sato along with the other villagers of Nami no Kuni, as well as meeting Mikoto-san and Sensei's other wives.

My training was now full time, as Sensei did not have much to do after the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War.

I was now using x10 Gravity Seals and according to Sensei, I had the level of a medium, almost high Chunin Rank Shinobi, which is pretty impressive for someone who has only been training for almost three years.

My body was getting stronger and stronger and my muscles were firm, to the point that when I practiced with other kids my age in Taijutsu, I felt almost no pain, of course, unless they were Hyuga.

At this time, we were in Konoha, or rather outside Konoha, in front of the entrance to a small hut.

"Inari, this will be the most difficult part of your training" - said Sensei seriously - "Your talent in Ninjutsu isn't very good but your talent in Taijutsu and Kenjutsu is admirable, that's why I brought you to this place"

"Where are we, sensei?" - I asked curiously as I looked up at the cabin.

"You will soon find out," said sensei as he knocked on the door. After a few seconds, it opened, showing a man who was wearing a green latex suit, black hair with a bowl hairstyle and eyebrows that seemed to be alive - "Kurama-san? It is a surprise to see you in my abode"

"I am also glad to see you, Gai-san" - smiled the sensei as I opened my eyes in surprise because in front of me stood none other than Maito Gai, Konoha no Kedakaki Aoi Moju (The sublime green beast of Konoha), and the greatest Taijutsu expert of the Elemental Nations - "How have you been?"

"A little bored now that I can't train like I used to" - sighed Gai-san while shaking his head - "I know that Hikari-san can heal me to the point of being able to do light training but that would only end up hurting me more because I know that I won't hold back in my training... but let's leave that for another time, why did you come to my quarters?"

"First, to tell you that within a year, Tsunade-chan is expected to find a cure for your leg" - said Kurama sensei with a smile as Gai-san seemed to find the light amid darkness - "The second thing is to ask you a favor"

"Does it have to do with the young man you brought?" - Gai-san asked as he looked at me with curiosity - "I see potential in him, I guess it has to do with the hellish physical training you're so fond of"

"Exactly," Sensei nodded with pride in his eyes as he stroked my hair, "But there is one problem that I am sure you will understand"

"I know, I can feel his chakra" - replied Gai-san as he looked at me for a few seconds - "After I opened the last gate of the [Hachimon Tonkou] and survived, my senses were greatly heightened, making me now able to feel the chakra of others".

"Then I don't have to tell you what the situation is all about" - sighed sensei as he stroked my hair again - "Tell me, Gai-san... Could you train Inari this year?"

"Hmm..." - Gai-san began to think when he heard sensei's question - "I don't know... I said that Lee would be my last disciple... but at the same time, I am bored without being able to train... I suppose it would not be a bad time to take my mantle as a sensei again and teach the new generations the wonders of Taijutsu..."

Gai-san continued to think aloud as he looked at me from time to time, until after a few seconds, he nodded - "Ok, I'm going to train the boy for a year... although in return I'm going to ask you to show me the method you used to strengthen your body"

"I have no problem with it," nodded Kurama sensei as he took out a scroll from his storage seal and handed it to Gai-san. "Inside that scroll is all the information about my training method, also the advanced version which is to use the elemental chakra of the environment to temper the body"

"Excellent!" - exclaimed Gai-san with a huge smile on his face - "Come, young Inari! It's time to light your Flames of Youth!"

"Oh, I was forgetting, without making him wear the Alien suit" - said Kurama sensei before he disappeared.

"It's not an alien suit, it's the unique uniform of the Maito family!" - exclaimed Gai-san as he began to mutter things about not appreciating the beauty of the green color.

"This will be a long year..." - I thought as I shook my head.

The year passed quickly and it was time to finally return to Uzu for a short break.

Kurama sensei appeared from time to time to be able to observe me and for some strange reason, his look felt a little conflicted, as if he felt guilty for something, although when I returned home, I understood the reason.

I am honestly not surprised in the least, not when I noticed the look Kaasan gave sensei when he picked me up for training during my stay in Uzushio. What did surprise me was that Kaasan ended up pregnant but far from upsetting me, it only made a smile appear on my face because I always wanted to be a big brother so I could protect my little brother or sister.

With this news, my d.e.s.i.r.e to be stronger grew and my relationship with Sensei changed to one that was much closer. Before he treated me as if I was important to him, and now he treated me as if I were his real son.

I continued to call him sensei despite the change in our relationship as a form of respect because he had been the person who had made me see what I wanted to be.

We decided that I would take a short break of two months to be able to spend time with Kaasan and the other members of the clan, as I had spent all this time training, and then we would see where I would continue with my training, although from what he told me, after the break we would go to Kumo to talk with Killer B, the former Jinchuriki of the Hachibi and a master in the art of Kenjutsu.

After meeting him, I discovered a frightening detail... all my teachers were weird, although I wasn't sure if this was because they were strong or the other way around.

After my time training with B sensei, it was the turn to go to Kiri and train with the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist, although I spent most of the time with Kisame sensei and Zabuza sensei, old friends of Kurama sensei.

After my time in Kiri, we went to Iwa to train with Onoki Jiji, and with him, I learned to dodge and sharpen my senses. It was difficult at first because the attacks came from all sides but with time, I managed to overcome his trials and gain his appreciation.

Finally, we went to Suna, and there I was placed under the tutelage of Kankuro Nii, who taught me the arts of poisons, their respective antidotes, as well as coordination.

Three years passed and I was now 17.

Tousan and I had returned to Konoha for the last part of my training, the name of my new sensei was Tenten Hyuga, a brunette woman who was a master of arms and one of Gai Sensei's students. She would be responsible for teaching me the mastery of weapons other than swords.

"You owe me a favor for this," Tenten said as she looked at sensei who only told her that it was because of his help that she had ended up with her husband.

"Okay, you win this time," Tenten said in annoyance, then looked at me, "Look, kid, I'm not going to be lenient with your training"

"Nor did I expect any less..." - I said seriously - "Not when I was training with pure psychopaths"

"I'm sorry to hear that," Tenten said as she looked at me with compassion, though it didn't make the training any easier.

After 6 months, my training with Tenten sensei ended and I returned to Uzushiogakure no Sato, where my last teacher was waiting for me, although if I am honest, she was the most normal of all, I suppose it was because she was the kindest of all. Please do not tell anyone that I said this because I do not want my other Sensei to punish me for speaking ill of them.

"Kurama-kun told me that you wanted to learn how to block and destroy Genjutsu despite your low chakra level" - said Kurenai as she watched me for a few seconds before nodding - "I have no problem teaching you, Inari-chan I have a perfect method for you"

That leaves us today...

Remembering my life, I realize that I am the disciple of the 6 greatest powers of the Elemental Nations.

I strengthened my body with Kurama sensei, the leader of the Uzumaki clan, and the strongest Shinobi in the world.

I studied Kenjutsu with the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist, as well as with Killer B, the former Jinchuriki of the Hachibi and younger brother of the current Raikage.

The former Tsuchikage taught me to sharpen my senses and think at high speed.

The brother of the Kazekage taught me coordination and how to deal with poisons, among other things.

I learned Taijutsu from the greatest exponent of the Art of Hand-to-Hand Combat of the Elemental Nations.

The Konoha Weapon Master taught me how to use all types of weapons, as well as how to find their weak points.

The Master of Illusion taught me how to resist Genjutsu.

And it's because of all this that many gave me a nickname that I feel fits like a ring on my finger... Inari, the strongest disciple...
