835 Killing a Dragon

After the matches, Lu Li and his teammates went training together. As promised, he summoned the Silly Husky.

The Silly Husky was a giant silver wolf that looked mighty and powerful, but had a friendly, rather amusing expression. This began to attract the attention of some onlookers.

"Hey, what are you looking at? I'm stronger than all of you; I could kill you all," the Silly Husky said. It had come from a mercenary background, so its character was a little crude.

"Dammit, it can talk," Azure Sea Breeze commented as he blinked.

"Is it supposed to attack people like that?" Wandering asked as he lazily raised his hammer and squinted at Lu Li. "Clearly, a pet is exactly like its owner."

"Wow, this pet is so cool! None of my pets can speak," Dreamy said, immediately feeling a bit insecure.

"Psht, what's the big deal? My dragon will probably speak a foreign language," Hachi Chan pouted, but she wasn't lying. Ever since her dragon had received the essence of the Green Dragon, it had become much smarter and was able to carry out some orders autonomously.

As for whether the dragon would speak a foreign language in the future, this wasn't an impossibility.

"Why don't we go kill a dragon? Maybe it'll drop something that your dragon pet can eat," Lu Li proposed.

"What dragon?" Azure Sea Breeze was suddenly interested.

Many people fantasized about being a Dragon Warrior when they were young, but some continued to, even after they grew older. Azure Sea Breeze obviously belonged to the second group.

"Azshara has an Azure Dragon Boss and I have a way to kill it," Lu Li said. He was a little anxious to use his Gnomish Poultryizer.

"What level is the Boss?" Wandering asked.

"It should only be level 45 right now," Lu Li answered unsurely after thinking for a while. This was a Wild Boss, so its strength would increase from time to time.

At the beginning it would have been level 30. Many players tried to kill it early on, but were unsuccessful.

By now, it was probably level 45,but this wasn't the Boss' final form. When Lu Li faced had him in his previous life, he had become a level 70 Boss and had killed plenty of players.

"Well what are we waiting for?" Azure Sea Breeze's big axe had been thirsty for a long time.

"I agree. If we can kill it, it would be a waste not to," Hachi Chan said as she waved her fist. Her brain cells had been completely captivated by the word 'dragon'.

She was intent on making sure that Dragon Essence was dropped so she could feed it to her dragon pet.

"Let's go ahead and teleport to Azshara then."

Lu Li could only hope that the Wild Boss would be generous enough to compensate for some of the Gnomish Poultryizer's costs.

The Gnomish Poultryizer used a lot of exquisite materials. It was like he was using gold coins to fight the Boss.

Azshara was also the name of an early ruler of the Night Elves in the lore, and was the so called 'Queen Azshara.'

The point of her character was to demonstrate the grief that came with a woman ruling the country.

Azshara was a strong woman; her aura alone was strong enough to knock down other men in battle.

According to a bard, she was a "woman deluded by Sargeras and deserted by her own people, "a lonely sensual animal", and "a woman whose intelligence was crushed by her loneliness."

In fact, at the beginning of Azshara's recorded story, she wasn't that unbearable.

At that time, she treated her people with kindness and love, and her beautiful appearance and heart was adored by all.

Later, Azshara built a palace on the edge of the Well of Eternity and studied it with her servant – Quel'dorei, the narrow minded High Elf.

Although the civilians of Kalimdor continued to love Azshara, they were arrogant, self-righteous, complacent and self-serving. They seemed a lot more like Quel'dorei.

However, even these circumstances didn't explain the queen's misconduct.

Later on, Sargeras appeared in the Well of Eternity. As everyone knew, Malfurion led a counter-attack as to destroy it.

This devastating attack rippled through the entire world and threw Azshara and her unruly followers into the sea.

In the aftermath of the explosion, the strength of the Well of Eternity twisted Azshara and her followers, transforming them into the Naga.

Although Azshara lingered under the waves, she and her followers continued to patiently wait for the day of their return and revenge.

Prior to the Great Cataclysm, the Night Elf City Adilas was thriving.

Many believed that this once prosperous castle ruin was home to many powerful ancient High Elf relics.

The Azure Dragons had been guarding these powerful relics and magical knowledge for generations, ensuring that it didn't fall into the hands of mortals. It was only until much later that the High Elf relics would be obtainable Legendary items.

However, the emergence of the Azure Dragon Azuregos seemed to imply that some of the most powerful relics were buried in Azshara's wilderness. Perhaps even the legendary Bottle of Eternity was there.

Regardless of what Azuregos was looking for, one thing was for sure – the Wild Boss had a target on its back.

This was the target that Lu Li wanted to kill, and it was a rather unique one.

First of all, he was the only dragon that could be transformed by the Gnomish Poultryizer. This was shameful for a dragon, so much so that some dragon NPCs would refuse to talk about it.

It was only until later that a certain System update would finally smooth out this fatal flaw of the dragons.

Before that, Lu Li would be able to use the Gnomish Poultryizer to kill this Wild Boss.

Officials didn't seem to think that this was a bug. They seemed to want to tell everyone that Engineering was good and encouraged people to invest in it.

However, no one listened, because the Gnomish Poultryizer was just too expensive. The cost of a Gnomish Poultryizer was 70 gold coins and it would be used at least ten times in this fight. Lu Li estimated that he needed at least a dozen more of these. He had used up all the materials in the warehouse in order to make them.

This battle was going to cost more than 100,000 dollars, an amount that a smaller guild simply wouldn't be able to afford.

Even the major guilds had to consider whether this was something worth the price, but this assumed that they had an expert engineer who could produce a Gnomish Poultryizer.

Of course, Lu Li couldn't rely on this small party to kill the Boss – that would take years. Instead, he had instructed Square Root 3 to assemble a group of the guild's best damage output players.
