These little Dryads in the forest had given themselves a cute name – the Laughing Sisters.

These fascinating Dryads were the daughters of the demigod Cenarius. They were a mischievous bunch that lived in the depths of the quiet forest in harmony with the other creatures of the forest. Although Dryads hated unnecessary violence, they were willing to fight if forced to do so. If that happened, they would defend Kalimdor would their lives.

However, their carefree lives were finally ended with the deforesters.

Warsong Soldiers began to slaughter the forest Elves that prevented them from cutting down the trees. If they weren't supported by the Night Elf Druids and the Keepers of the Grove, these Dryads might have lost their homes.

"I have seen a Dryad called Shael'dryn. She is one of the most beautiful creatures of the world," Lu Li said in admiration.

"Shael'dryn is now responsible for guarding the Moon Wells, and is unable to deal to deal with the invaders. My friend, I hope you can help them. The Laughing Sisters will help you fight off the enemy," Remulos said.

"In the name of the forest, these deforesters will be judged!" Lu Li declared sincerely.

Helping the Laughing Sisters repel the Warsong soldiers was actually a free quest because the Warsong Soldiers were very low-levelled. When Lu Li was levelling in the Grey Valley, these Warsong Soldiers were an invincible enemy.

They were generally around level 35, with a few Elites that were around level 40 to 50.

Now that Lu Li was already at level 60, these Warsong Soldiers that used to kill him, would now be slaughtered by him. By the time he cleared them all out, he had killed 100 Warsong Soldiers.

Even so, one shouldn't think that these Warsong Soldiers were weak. If Lu Li continued pushing into the Broken Wood Outpost, he would be asking for death. The soldiers of the Broken Wood Outpost could transform into a form that was ten levels higher than the player at any time.

A ten level difference didn't make them invincible, but it wasn't something that Lu Li could fight alone.

"Thank you, Elf," a Dryad came over and thanked Lu Li.

Lu Li looked at her name – Bethel. She seemed to be the leader of the forest Dryads. They had been limited by the System, so the Dryad leader wasn't a high level either. Otherwise, if she was a Boss, the Laughing Sisters wouldn't have been defeated by the Warsong Soldiers.

"Greetings, I am an Elf from the Stronghold, and I was instructed by Lord Remulos to support this place," Lu Li introduced himself.

"Remulos? Oh, that's great."

As soon as she heard the name Remulos, Bethel let her guard down. The Dryads and the Keepers of the Grove were children of Cenarius, so they were obviously on the same side. Since Lu Li had been sent by her brother, there was no need for any hostility.

"He was very worried about you," Lu Li said seriously.

There was no need to convey how close Lu Li was to Remulos. His actions were sufficient. Since Remulos had expressed concern before Lu Li, he decided to share that sentiment of his own accord.

"You say that you are from a Stronghold. Is there such a place in the forest?" the Dryad asked curiously.

"Not before – it only appeared recently. It was built with the help of Lord Remulos," Lu Li explained seriously. "The evil foresters had to be punished, we had to decisively fight them off."

"Really?" Bethel's eyes widened in wonder.

In her experience, the adventurers were generally not very enthusiastic about Grey Valley's dispute over the deforesters. There were only some adventurers that were willing to lend a helping hand to the Dryad sisters.

She didn't expect Lu Li to do something like this.

"I will send my people to protect the forest, and do my best to protect the Dryad sisters," Lu Li promised. Although he had killed all the Warsong Soldiers here, there would soon be new ones arriving. Lu Li intended to send Thieves here to be on duty. There would be a group of two that would come and each group only needed to work for an hour.

"Thank you for your generosity. The Dryad sisters would be willing to form a permanent covenant with you," Bethel said happily.

The System prompted Lu Li to accept the friendship of the 'Laughing Sisters'. This allowed him to summon five Dryad sisters to fight as allies every week. Each death reduced a certain amount of goodwill, which meant that the number that arrived next time would be less.

Lu Li was very satisfied with this result.

Some people thought that these Dryads were weak. After all, they weren't able to beat the level 30-40 Warsong Soldiers and relied on the Night Elf Druids and Keepers of the Grove to survive.

However, there was something that most people didn't think of.

When Lu Li had come here to help the Dryads, he was at level 60. He was still level 60 after killing the Warsong Soldiers. His level didn't change to become the same as his allies or enemies.

If an NPC participated in a player's fight as a mercenary, their level would not be their original level. If the Dryads appeared within the Stronghold fight, they would become the same level as the players. The Keepers of the Grove were similar, which was why Lu Li wanted to get their help.

Of course, once he started to cut down trees to build the Stronghold, he wouldn't be able to enlist them anymore.

The purpose of getting their help was to overprotect the Stronghold. He was confident in the defense of the Stronghold. He had 80 defenders against 80 attackers, but he also had defensive structures on the wall. In addition, there were several Keepers of the Grove and Dryads. If anyone attacked them, they would return empty-handed.

The extra help was going to make Ruling Sword a lot of money.

The Stronghold's walls had now been upgraded. They were a lot more solid than the original walls. This was the result of Ruling Sword's 100,000 members working endlessly for a few days. Their two allies, Drizzle Court and Peerless City, also contributed a lot of the rocks required.

The 80 players to participate in this battle had been selected. PVP players and strong ranged damage output players like Lonesome Flower and Sesame Rice Ball were chosen. Those ranged players didn't need to do anything other than stand on the wall and cast their skills.

In the early Stronghold battles, the Hunters were very effective, so Lu Li selected ten to participate.

At 8 o'clock on Monday morning, Ruling Sword's Grey Valley Stronghold entered the auction time. City Warfare Administrators across all the major cites were flocked by organisations big and small.

Although only eight organisations could qualify, they didn't lose any money for placing a bid, so there was no reason not to try. Perhaps there wouldn't be enough people applying and you would receive the opportunity. Perhaps Ruling Sword wouldn't defend properly, and suddenly, the Stronghold would be yours.

Those who were lucky never lacked anything. People needed to dream, just in case their dreams came true.
