56 How shameless The Gods's Decree

" Then she is worthy to be by your side kid"

Seeing the boy before him seemingly delving into his feelings he could only smile.

" To live a life without feeling love is not living but being an existence."

" There will come moments in your life that you will need someone to be close to you."

" This closeness comes not from power or fame but a bond that is as old as time itself. "

"Child based on what you have told me about the looks in those cultivators eyes after your result, there is a huge destiny on your body"

Deep down worry brew in Old man Ming as he thought of what he was told.

"As such you will find that as your potential is revealed more people will be drawn to you."

" Now I know I don't have to tell you this as you have probably thought about it yourself but I feel it's my responsibility to at least say it"

He continued on with a warning to Taf who still laid on the ground.

" So knowing who is genuinelythere for you will become harder as times go by. "

Hearing his words Taf could only acknowledge his point.

" That's why I'm lucky to have met her when I did, "

He finally sat up no longer looking at the stars but thisold Man to his side.

" Thank you"

Old Man Ming hearing the words could only laugh a bit as he responded.

" Kiddo between us there is no need for such words"

The night never went back into silence as an old Man and youth sat on a roof laughing and talking way into the night before the sun showed its splendor.

.....

As the new day arouse Taf was busy about helping in the restaurant. In the kitchen there he was with his chef hat on. Surrounding him were huge pots and pans of varying sizes.

Orders kept coming in droves ashe shared one meal after the other.

" Table four says they want the special but they want the sauce that you prepared for the oxtail"

A young girl in waitress uniform came in with seeming twenty different orders. Her face showed pity as she looked at Taf that begun to sweat perfusely due the heat in the kitchen.

In his mind he was fuming none ending when he saw the orders that he had to fill in quick time.

" That...that old man will pay for this"

Scenes from earlier in the day played out in his head and the more he saw them the more pissed he became.

He saw an Old man grinning as he had risen from his long sleep after staying up all night.

" Kiddo, I swear the Gods themselves sent you as a blessing. When news got out that you were the Mouse and you prepared a special for my little restaurant."

" Well let's just say the seat were no longer needed to be filled as the floor seemed just as good for the numbers that came."

When he had gone down stairs he saw people packed in the restaurants and there was no exaggeration. They sat on the floor and that was not the end as a long line could be seen leading from the entrance.

" How did they 'find out' over night old man Ming?"

He had questioned after become suspicious.

" The heaven are mysterious in how they bestow their blessings"

A seeming innocent response was heard fromthe Old Man that was before him.

" Besides.., this is your last day and you cook the best around".

" How about you help this old man out."

He had patted him on the shoulder with a sincere appearance.

" Who is going to help me out?"

" Did the heavens bestow me with extra hands too"

He raged as he looked at the old man that stood before him.

" I did say the heaven are mysterious"

" Who am I judge on its practices....."

After recall the events earlier in the day Taf could only shake his head and lament.

" How could someone be so shameful....?"

" It's a good thing that I have such an impeccable saint like character or else I would fear some of his traits might have rubbed off on me."

He then went on to toil through the day until evening came.

...

Outside a door that shared its space with beautiful roses and flowers to each of its sides stood a youth. There he inhaled the fragrances that seemingly drifted the mind into sweet serenity.

Knock knock!!

He knocked the door twiceafter taking some time to come back to reality.

A few seconds later he saw the door then open. There to greet him was a beauty dressed in a white dress. Around her neck could be seen a neckless that seemingly ensensuated the beautiful innocence she was.

"My...my.. are my eyes deceiving me?"

" Who is this handsome fellow I see. So dashing that I am so tempted to drag you in before all these ladies in the city gubble you up, Mr charmer"

A big smiles could be seen as she eyed the youth before her.

" You don't know the half of it as this handsome being nearly didn'tmake it in time. After seeing this perfectly carved faced and structure, goddesses and angels fell to this mortal earth just to stare at me in awe"

Taf replied as if in reminiscence.

" Do they know of this young lady's presence. How dare they try to lay claim to my brute. If they fell from heaven does that mean they want to be dragged to hell after this lady lays seige."

A clever retort was heard from beautiful girl in white that was May.

" I stated out loud..., whether goddesses or angels these eyes are only metfor one. She supersedes all in quality and pose. When I a man have found such a treasure, how could being mortal or goddess compare?"

Taf smirked as he saw the blushing May in front of him.

" Come in you brute before the bees also lay claim to you"

She laughed and gripped his hands dragging him through the door.

Inside a comforting feel greeted him as he surveyed the house. As he went deeper in the home he saw a few individuals that had been patiently waiting for his arrival.

There stood a woman and a male. Taf was shocked by the appearance of the woman as he looked at her. If he was not certain that it was May to his side, she could definately pass for an older version.

They looked similar to twins as the only difference was the slight age lines and more mature body.
