Chapter 359 - Late

Chapter 359: Late

"Store owner, can I buy as many weapons as I want?" Sarbal asked Aakesh.

"No! You can only buy a single weapon per month," Aakesh expressionlessly answered the man.

"What if I pay twice the quoted price?" Sarbal asked once again.

Aakesh didn't say anything but instead pointed at the rule board.

Sarbal couldn't help but be dumbfounded, reading the rules. 'How am I bargaining? I am offering you double the quoted amount,' He cried out in his heart but didn't dare to utter that loud.

Sarbal then looked at Aakesh, only to notice that he had already closed his eyes.

For a moment, Sarbal didn't know what to do, so he just stood there stumped.

After finally calming down, Sarbal shook his head in disappointment, as he could only buy a single weapon when he wanted to buy so many.

If there were a limit of one weapon per day, even then, he would've understood, as, in a few years, he would be able to buy all the weapons he wanted.

But the limit was one weapon per month. If Sarbal were to buy even a hundred weapons of his liking, it would still take him several years.

But since the store owner didn't seem to change his mind, he had no choice but to go through it. He decided to buy a single weapon of his like for now.

He then fell into a dilemma of what weapon he wanted to buy out of the hundreds of those he had selected.

He wasn't going to select other weapons as seeing newer weapons would make him feel very uncomfortable since he wouldn't be able to buy all of them.

After a lot of consideration, Sarbal decided to buy a Mythical-grade disc.

It was an orange-colored disc with eleven spherical ends. There was a pattern of the sun engraved on both sides of it. It was priced at one hundred superior Primal stones.

Even though it was of no use to Sarbal, he decided to buy it, as he hadn't seen a single weapon of such quality in his life, despite seeing some King-grade weapons even in this store.

Since he had already made his decision on what weapon he was going to buy, he didn't wait and returned to the weapons room.

He then approached the pillar, marking discs, and then began searching for his choice in the Mythical-grade section.

Sarbal had thought that it would be hard work to find the disc again in the lot, but unexpectedly, the first disc he took out turned out to be the one he wanted.

Sarbal thought it was his luck, but it wasn't. Even though the system didn't allow the customers to take the weapons out of the weapons room or permit them to buy more than once a month, it still remembered which customer had selected which one. It helped the customer when they returned to the store after their cooldown of buying the weapon had returned to zero.

After taking out the disc, he exited the weapons room right away. The more he stayed there, the more painful and uncomfortable he felt, thinking of the weapons not being in his hands.

"Store owner, I will buy this," Sarbal told Aakesh after exiting the weapons room.

Aakesh only took a glance at the disc in his hands, and its price automatically appeared in his head. "You need to pay hundred superior Primal stones," He expressionlessly told the Dwarf.

Sarbal only nodded and took out the required amount from his space ring. He then handed it to Aakesh.

Aakesh waved his hands. The next moment, the Primal stones disappeared from the store.

Since Sarbal had nothing else to do in the store, he decided to leave. When he had only reached the door, he couldn't help but turn around to take a glance at the weapons room. A disappointed expression appeared on his face. With a sigh, he turned around and exited the store.

"Are you serious?" A shout rang in the area as Sarbal showed the disc to his teacher and told the story behind it to him.

His teacher thought that the disc was an ancient treasure his student had gotten from some ruins during his journey when he saw it. But when Sarbal told him about the store that sold it, the teacher couldn't believe his student.

"Yes, teacher, I'm telling the truth. I bought it from a store," Sarbal responded with a sincere face.

Even though it wasn't his creation, he still felt proud for showing the disc to his teacher.

"Take me to that store," The teacher ordered Sarbal after staying silent for some time.

"We can't go now, teacher," Sarbal answered right away.

"Why?" The teacher confusedly stared at his only student and asked. The teacher could see from his student's face that Sarbal was even more excited than him for wanting to go to the store.

"The store closes at sunset. If we were to leave now, our journey would be wasteful," Sarbal stated the reason, as the sun was going to set anytime.

He was confident that the store owner would not open the store for them after the closing time, so he didn't want his teacher to go on a wasteful journey.

After further discussions, the duo of the teacher and student decided to go to the store tomorrow morning. As for the limit on buying weapons, the teacher already had a solution.

If one person could only buy one weapon, he would take as many people as the number of weapons he would decide to buy if what his student said turned out to be correct.

Time flew by.

The light hid back after the sunset, and it brought the augment of the night.

After every customer left the store, Aakesh closed the door, marking another end of the day for the store.

For some reason, Lily hasn't returned until now, so Aakesh decided to wait for her, while he thought about his strategy in today's battle against the being.

Aakesh didn't have to wait for very long, as suddenly a door in the air and then stairs connecting it to the hardwood floor appeared in the store.

"Kacha!"

The door then clicked open, and soon Lily stepped down the stairs.. Seeing the store closed and Aakesh waiting for her, she jumped on his head.
