Chapter 110 - Hidden Quest

Chapter 110: Hidden Quest

"You can only buy three pills each," Aakesh expressionlessly said after glancing only once at the shining supreme Primal stone.

"Why would you set a limit to your pills selling quantity?" Evelyn asked with a hint of surprise in her voice after not finding even a hint of greed in Aakesh's eyes.

"Because qualities only have value until they're limited," Aakesh responded right away.

Evelyn smilingly nodded after hearing Aakesh. "Okay, give us three pills each," She then said while pointing at the counter.

Aakesh nodded and stood up to take the pills out of the counter. It didn't matter to him what his customers were going to do with the pills, except when they sold his products to make profits.

He then took out six pills of each category and handed them over to Evelyn. He then told her the price, "1260 ordinary Primal stones, and 1050 inferior Primal stones."

Evelyn nodded and extended the supreme Primal stones toward him, but Aakesh raised his hands to stop her midway. "I can't take it since there is no conversion rate for the stone," He expressionlessly responded.

"You don't need to worry about it. We would be coming here regularly for some time," Evelyn smilingly responded as she liked Aakesh more the more she talked to him.

Aakesh wanted to respond, but he didn't speak, as the next moment, several system alerts appeared in his head.

[Ding.]

[Host, congratulations for completing the hidden quest: Conversion rate.]

[Mission reward: A card machine, successfully rewarded.]

[Host, tell the system after selecting a location where the machine would be placed.]

A confused expression appeared on Aakesh's face after hearing the system alerts.

"Hey, system, What's this quest?" Aakesh asked the system in his mind.

While George, seeing the sudden change in Aakesh's expression, asked, "What happened?"

Aakesh didn't respond to George as the system was currently explaining the quest to him.

When Aakesh opened the store, there was always going to be a powerful or rich customer who would pay a superior Primal stone for the product costing ordinary or top Primal stones, so the system set a quest whenever that time came.

Being the store owner of 'The First Store', Aakesh didn't need to pay the remaining fee, and nor could he take more than the cost of the product.

The system made it a hidden quest whenever that situation arose, with a reward, so that no more of these situations would occur in the future.

After learning about the quest, the system explained about the card machine. As its name suggested, it would create a card for the customer to act as the exclusive credit carrier for the store.

Aakesh then surveyed the store for a good location, and finally, he selected the area next to his chair so that he wouldn't have to stand up whenever someone decided to buy a card for themselves.

The next moment, a white light appeared on the area, Aakesh had chosen. The sudden appearance of the light stunned both George and Evelyn.

Aakesh ignored their reaction and instead focused on the white light. Right at that moment, Maria spawned in the store after dying in Panagea. She also decided to wait for the white light to disappear and see what the situation was, rather than entering Panagea right away.

The white light slowly started disappearing after a few seconds. When it completely disappeared, a square box the size of Aakesh appeared in the store.

It wasn't the end as slowly patterns started appearing on the box. When the process finally ended, 'Card Machine' appeared on the top of the box, in golden fonts.

Below the name of the box, two square blocks appeared. On one square block, the pattern of a black hole emerged, while on the other block, a small opening appeared.

Below, the block containing the opening, three switches appeared. Below the switches, top, superior, and supreme were embedded.

"Senior, what's this?" Maria couldn't stop her curiosity, seeing the square box, so she asked Aakesh.

Evelyn and George also looked at Aakesh, waiting for his answer. After reading the name of the box, they had a somewhat understanding of its function, but they waited for Aakesh to explain it first.

"It's a card machine," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

"We can see that," Evelyn scoffed while pointing at the golden fonts on the box. "What kind of cards does it create?" She then asked.

"It creates an exclusive credit carrying card for the store," Aakesh responded. He didn't stop and continued, "After getting a card, you don't need to carry Primal stones in your space rings. You can add as many Primal stones you have in your cards."

"See these three switches. They represent top, superior, and supreme Primal stone," Aakesh added while pointing at the switches. "You can get different cards for different grades of Primal stone," He said and stopped speaking.

"What's the difference between the three cards?" Evelyn asked while Maria had a shell-shocked reaction as her eyes finally fell on the shining stone floating next to Evelyn. Despite feeling pressured by it, she felt the urge to steal it deep in her heart.

"Top Primal stone card has a single function. It could store Primal stones," Aakesh said while pointing at the switch that said top.

He then proceeded to superior and said, "Superior Primal stone cards can store Primal stones, they also can self-destruct, and they have the ability to contact."

He then proceeded to supreme switch and explained, "It has all the functions of the previous two cards. It also has the ability of teleportation. From anywhere in the Primal dimension, you can teleport to this store if you have the card."

He didn't stop and continued, "The contact ability of the supreme Primal stone card is also better than the superior Primal stone card. The superior card has limitations when it comes to several areas where contacting someone isn't possible. But for the supreme card, there is no such limitation. You can contact your partner from any area in the Primal dimension."

All the three people in the store had shocked reactions after learning the details of the cards.. Even Maria had to stop looking at the Primal stone after hearing the details about the supreme Primal stone card.
