Chapter 101: Nothing In The Pot!

"I will let you know when the right is for the training." The old master disappeared with the portal leaving no trace of his presence.

The whole space was empty as if there had been not a single soul in there. Le Fang Ling clutched the jade locket in her hand with all her might. Only when she felt that it was there that she snapped out of her thoughts and confirmed that everything that had happened was real.

She put the locket around her neck and patted it twice but there was no any reaction from it.

'I think I can only wait for him to say something,' she sighed as she retraced back her hands.

Le Fang Ling and Nagina stared at the empty space for a while in silence. Le Fang Ling reached out and held Nagina's hand.

"Shall we go?" She said smiling at her.

"En, let's."

Nagina nodded her head in approval and lightly squeezed back her hand.

"Congratulations on finding a master, Host!" she said as she raised her waist a bit and wrapped her arm around her neck.

Le Fang Ling was taken aback by her sudden advancement that she was at loss of words and action. She was a bit stiff but quickly placed her arms around her and patted her silvery hair.

"Thank you, thank you for being with me." Le Fang Ling whispered in her ear. Her sincerity and love was crystal clear in her voice.

"Thank you for everything, you are the best thing that ever happened to me in both of my life." She tightened her hug and after a while slowly retraced back her hands.

Nagina said nothing as she let Le Fang Ling rub her hair and even mess with it.

"Heh, let's go." Le Fang Ling gave one last pat and started walking with Nagina accompanying her.

Both of them descended from the top of the hill and reached the bottom in around 10 minutes.

"Grrrr…."

Something growled right after they had reached the compound of the Sect. it sounded like a roar of a hungry beast.

"What was that?" Nagina asked as she scanned the perimeter for any kind of beast that could jump on them. Unluckily, she could find nothing at all.  There was nothing that posed any harm to them at the moment.

"It was nothing, ignore it." Le Fang Ling caught hold of her  hand even tighter and started the way back to their quarters. Nagina said nothing as she simply nodded her head as they continued to walk.

No sooner had they  walked a few steps, there it was again. The painful cry of a beast.

"Growl~~~~, Growl~~`'

"….."

"…."

This time, the growl was more prominent than before and to Nagina, it was even closer. She sharply turned her head and looked at the place where the  loud growl was coming from.

"Host, don't tell me…." she said as she looked at Le Fang Ling who was starting to flush red in embarrassment.

"Alright alright, tsk tsk." Le fang Ling clicked her tongue as she tried to hide her embarrassment.

"Heh," Nagina curled up her lips in a smirk as she looked teasingly at her host.

Le fang Ling saw that look on her face and she could not help but let out a gasp of horror and surprise.

"Hey, wipe that smug off your face!" she warned at.

"Heh," Nagina smirked again. instead of  compiling with her, she intensified her smile and let out a mocking laughter.

"What a dangerous beast! Pfft!" she laughed as she peeked at Le Fang Ling.

"I am not but, if you want, I can be a beast in bed for you."

Nagina: "….."

She was speechless at the shamelessness of her host. She was talking about those things in a broad daylight such as this!

"Shameless!" she scowled at le Fang Ling. She felt embarrassed talking about it even though she was an AI but her host..

Tch tch, she was on different level.

Le Fang Ling touched her stomach that was growling loudly.

"I am a human Nagina," she said as she let out sigh.

"And I have not eaten anything for the whole day!!" she complained.

"Also, after what we did last night, I took part in a fight without eating anything!" she herself was surprised at her endurance of her hunger.

"It's only fair that I am hungry now…" her voice trailed off as she looked at the sect canteen in front of her.

She unconsciously licked her lips as she thought about food.

If she remembered correctly, it was time for the mid day lunch for the disciples.

"Ahh, I arrived right on time!" she snickered as she touched her flat and growling belly.

The sect canteen was located in one of the corner in a quiet place. Although the students were free to eat and drink whatever they wanted, they were still highly encouraged to eat in there.

Le fang Ling had visited this place only once or twice as  she preferred being alone and when she was training her body and soul to learn the basics of cultivation ,she did not feel the need to eat food.

But she was still a mortal and food was a part of her body. She needed to eat to get the energy she needed for going about her day.

"I really hope I am not late for lunch," she prayed silently in her heart as the entrance of the canteen appeared in her sight.

The canteen hall was also divided into two different sections. One was for the outer sect disciples and the other one was for the inner sect disciples. There was no discrimination on the quality and number of food given.

But no matter what, she could not understand one thing.

"Then why is there separation even when having food?" Le Fangling had asked Nagina the reason as to why the cafeteria had to be different.

"That's just how rules are," Nagina shook her head as she answered her.

"The inner Sect disciples have their own choosing when it comes to food that can match their body and affinity types."

"Then what about the outer sect disciples?"

"It's mostly because the inner Sect disciples are given more privileges." Nagina had said.

Le Fang ling mused on the fact but simply accepted it as this was something that had been prevalent in this world. In this twin star continent that was far beyond her imagination and reach.

"You do know where you should go, right?" Nagina reminded her once again about it as they entered the canteen.

"Yes," she nodded her head.

Le Fang ling quickened her pace finally reaching a traditional styled door and to her saw that  from there disciples were coming out with a little bloated stomach and satisfied smile in their face.

Upon seeing Le fang Ling and Nagina, they paused and stared at them as if they had seen a ghost or something. While the few others ignored them or chose to take another way so as to not cross oaths with Le fang Ling.

But that did not change the fact that they were exiting the cafeteria!!

That only meant one thing.

"All of the food must be gone by till now." Horrified Le Fangling increased her pace to the extent of running and reached the designated area for the food where big pots of rice, curry, dumplings and meat was kept on the table.

Le Fangling looked into each pot one by one, her movement fast and precise as she opened the lid of the pot with her one hand while sniffed the fragrance with her nose feeling hungrier than ever.

"Nothing!!"

The rice pot was empty.

"Nothing!!!"

The curry pot was empty.

"Nothing!!!!"

The dumplings pot was empty.

"Nothing!!!!"

The meat container was empty with not even a drop of gravy left.

After she was done checking all of the pot, Le Fangling hunched down her back and walked away from the table with a sunken cheek evident.

Nagina watched her check each jar of food as if she was a starving beggar and wanted to face palm. But she also felt that it was kind of cute seeing her flustered.

The senior brother and senior sisters who were in charge of cooking food saw that they had a late comer. They watched her checking the pots and could not help but smile.

"You didn't get food?" one of the senior sister approached her and asked with a smile on her face.

"Yes, T.T" Le Fang Ling was almost crying as she replied back to her with droopy ears and wet eyes.

"I kind of messed up timing with my training," she sighed looking at the warm and approachable smile of the sister.

The senior sister was named  Xin Yu, and she was in charge of cooking food here. She looked at the cute junior sister in front of her and chuckled lightly.

"It's fine," she said as she  placed away the empty pots.

"I have something for you." she winked at her as she wiped her hand on a towel.

A few moments later…

"Enjoy!" she smiled as she entered the cooking area, leaving behind Le fang ling who was standing with three sweet potatoes in her hand.
