Chapter 25 - The state of Fiore (1)

"Of course not! I'm yours forever, I will never betray you! Please believe me, Master!" Rin's eyes showed sincerity as she begged for Alex's trust.

"Mhm... of course I trust you. Now, I have some questions to ask you. If you answer them well, I will give you a handsome reward." Alex replied.

After getting an affirmative confirmation from Rin, Alex asked, "What exactly happened three days ago?"

"Three days ago, the enemy of the lamia clan, the beast demons came to assassinate Lord Rena on the surface. But, in actuality, they were here to rescue their princess that was locked up in the mine's dungeon. A month ago, we have secretly captured their princess, and we were tasked with the mission to escort her back to the capital. I fought with them but was defeated despite my best effort. Fortunately for me, Lord Rena did not blame me for my incompetence, but my fellow knights were not so fortunate. I have no idea how this information was leaked, but it was most likely the doing of a spy in our ranks. Is my answer good enough, Master?" Rin answered as quickly and detailed as she could, like a dog asking for a treat.

After listening to Rin, Alex's eyebrows were tightly knitted. It seems that there was more to this world that what he had learnt. The two beast women that he encountered must be the rescue party.

Furthermore, how dare his slave address someone else as her lord. He decided that there was much more training to do. As a master, it was his own negligence that caused this, and he needs to fix this.

Regardless, training had to wait. There was more urgent issue at hand.

"Good answer. You can lick my bone as your reward." Alex smiled whilst he hoisted Rin's head towards his p.e.n.i.s. Stuffing her entire mouth until her cheeks was bulging, he asked another question.

"What is the state of Fiore now? What is the relationship between the beast faction and the lamia faction?"

"Fiore iz divided inzo sezen terroritties. Puahh... Hah... Hah... Master, please let me speak properly." Rin asked for Alex'a permission as she could not speak with his monstrous d.i.c.k in her mouth. After getting a nod from Alex, she continued the previous topic, but not forgetting to lick the sides of his d.i.c.k occasionally in between her sentences.

"Fiore is divided into seven territories with the seven Great devil ruling over them separately. In the beginning, during the war of genesis, a demon lord was chosen to band together all demons to battle against the Gods. However, the demon lord's position had been vacant for a long time after the previous demon lord had died. Thus, the demons factions had devolved into seven different states in the continent."

"The strongest faction is the dragon clan. But their powers are decreasing rapidly because of their low rate of fertility. Master, you should know that it is hard for demons to reproduce. And it is especially so for the dragon clan. That's why many clans are trying other methods to increase their numbers. The ritual that Lord Rena was going to perform three days ago, was one of the method. With certain conditions, Lord Rena will be able to convert the female human to lesser succubus. The only disadvantage to this method is that we can only recruit weak demons into our ranks."

"Follow closely in line behind the dragon clan will be the Undead army. Although they lack in power in battles compared to the dragons, their numbers outnumber every other clan. Furthermore, with the dreadful Liches and Dullahan leading the charge, they are ranked the second among the demon clans."
