If she were given a choice, she would gladly to stay in this office with Rufus forever, even if they were only allowed to have a workplace relationship. She would hope that no one would disturb them. A private space with Rufus was all she ever wanted.

"Okay! It's time for me to go home." Due to his promise to Cassandra, Rufus stood up, ready to leave as soon as it was time for him to clock out for lunch break.

The smile on Winnie's lips transformed into a frown. "Mr. Luo, are you heading back for lunch? Wouldn't it be too troublesome for you to go all the way home, just for lunch?"

Rufus, however, seemed to be in a very good mood as he smiled and answered, "I have to keep an eye on her when she eats. Or else, she might not eat properly."

Although Rufus didn't explicitly spell out who he was talking about, it was quite apparent that he was talking about his wife, Cassandra.

Envy brimming her eyes, Winnie said, "Sir, you're such a good husband. I wish I had someone to care for me as well."

Rufus answered, "You're a good girl. Surely you can find an outstanding partner for you."

He waved his hand at her. "I'd better get going. You should also get some lunch."

Winnie stared at the back of man as he left, the light in her eyes gradually dimming down.

Suddenly, her phone rang and an unknown caller ID popped up on her cellphone screen.

Out of curiosity, Winnie answered the call. On the other end of line, the trembling voice of a weeping girl managed to squeeze out a few words from her mouth. "You promised me that you would give me the money after the job was done. My brother is still in the hospital. I need the money to..."

Winnie impatiently interrupted her. "I know that. I'll give the money to

"You're my wife in name only, on paper only. My heart and love will never be yours."

Edward made it clear to Daisy that she was nothing to him. They were both victims of family greed -- the marriage was arranged for them.

Six years passed. She remained quiet, gaining a reputation in the army as a tough-as-nails colonel. When she walked into his life again, Edward fell in love with this woman...

od lightened after he said that. "Mark your words, Rufus. Mom, I'd like to eat fish tomorrow as well. I find your cooking irresistible."

Edith replied, "No problem. Fish is my specialty. Moreover, it's good for your health.

By the way, Cassandra, have some soup as well." Edith started to fill Cassandra's bowl with pork rib soup.

Cassandra immediately raised her hand to stop Edith. "Mom, I'm already full. Look at my belly. It's round now!"

Rufus looked at her and said, "It's not good to over-eat as well. Get some rest on the couch now."

Cassandra rubbed her belly and slowly moved to the couch.

"London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down; London Bridge is falling down; My fair lady..."

After he finished eating, Rufus walked over to Cassandra when he heard her singing the nursery rhyme.

"What's with the sudden appreciation for nursery rhymes?" he asked, grinning at her.

Cassandra caressed her stomach. "It's antenatal training. Don't you know this?"

Rufus paused for a second and said, "If you really want to do antenatal training, go for something of a higher level. Maybe you can train it to be a prodigy."
