On the same night, the local police received a great gift.

Two foreign outlaws who had committed a few crimes here were finally sent to the police station by somebody unknown.

After going through everything they did, Rufus and Cassandra no longer felt over-fed.

Later that night, Cassandra lay in Rufus's arms. Her eyelashes slowly fell as sleep gently took hold of her.

Rufus kissed her earlobes and cheeks gently and lovingly.

"Cassandra, let's have a baby." This was for the first time Rufus brought that up since they got married.

Ever since Cassandra's miscarriage, every mention of a child would bring back the memory and fill her with deep sadness.

This time, though, things seemed to have changed. Cassandra knew Rufus might want a child to finally complete their family.

The thought of Rufus, her, and a child of their own looked so perfect in her mind.

Despite her shyness, Cassandra nodded. "But please," she said bashfully, "be gentle."

Given her permission, Rufus no longer needed to restrain himself. In that beautiful night, the two of them indulged themselves with endless intimacy.

Birds greeted the morning light as it started to peep inside their window. It was a beautiful day in Melbourne.

The newly-weds opted not to have their breakfast in the hotel. Instead, they found themselves a small restaurant by the road, enjoying the local scene. They ordered several delicacies that covered their whole table. Both Rufus and Cassandra enjoyed the breakfast wholeheartedly.

"Do you like this place, Cassandra?" Rufus asked with a smile on his face as he put his bowl down on the table.

Cassandra's lips were currently covered with white foamed milk, but when she heard Rufus's question, she just smiled.

The Mighty Soldier King is back!

With the original intention to protect his beautiful boss, he accidentally gets involved in dangerous adventures and trouble.

Will our Mighty Soldier King be defeated? Or will he sweep away all obstacles?

a moment. They had, indeed, been walking for quite a while already. Plus, she was wearing high heels. It was natural for her to feel tired.

"Take off your shoes and let me have a look at your feet," Rufus said as he sat down beside her. He wanted to check if her feet had accumulated blisters.

Cassandra seemed to avoid his eyes. "My feet are alright. You don't have to check."

Noticing this, Rufus felt even more certain that something was wrong. Despite her refusal, he placed her feet on his legs and took off her shoes as carefully as he could, and then, her socks. And there, he saw them. Blisters were all around her heels. His eyes was filled with pity.

"You're so stubborn. This must hurt badly. Why didn't you tell me as soon as you began to feel uncomfortable?" Rufus said with displeasure, frowning.

Seeing his displeasure, Cassandra hastily tried to comfort him. Smiling, she said, "No, it doesn't hurt. I'm used to walking in high heels. They're not as bad as they look!"

Rufus didn't believe a word she said. With a serious expression, he looked at her and said, "Let's go back to the hotel and we will look for the farmhouse next time."
