Everything happened so unexpectedly that Cassandra didn't know what to feel.

She couldn't believe what was happening in front of her and all she could do was stare at what was unfolding before her eyes.

"Cassandra, marry me."

Rufus suddenly knelt down on one knee, the sound of his voice came out of the broadcast and echoed in the park.

Everyone was buzzing with excitement. They were turning their heads from all directions waiting to see what was going to happen. Suddenly, someone spotted them on the Ferris wheel and everyone followed suit.

Rufus was holding, in his hand, an open jewelry box with a diamond ring shining inside.

Although he looked calm, there was still some trace of tension in his eyes.

This wasn't the first time he had proposed. He just never expected to do it again and get rejected.

They clearly loved each other but just couldn't figure it out.

They cherished each other and opened their hearts to one another yet they still kept messing up.

But today, as they stood on the Ferris wheel that Cassandra designed and he built, in front of so many people, under the night blanketed with stars, he knelt down on one knee and proposed to her.

Rufus, the proud man that he was, had doubted if it was such a good idea to propose in front of a crowd with the possibility of getting rejected again. He didn't want to get humiliated.

But there was a voice in his head and a tugging feeling at his heart that told him if he didn't do this right for the woman that he loved, he would regret it his whole life.

So despite his doubts, he pushed through with his plan of a grand proposal in front of a crowd.

Rufus hoped that if Cassandra said yes to him, the good energy of the crowd would lift her spirits up further.

Cassandra's mouth dropped open as she stared at Rufus, still a bit confused.

Everything was happening so fast that she didn't have time to figure out what exactly was going on.

She thought Rufus was just showing her the Ferris wheel. S

"You're my wife in name only, on paper only. My heart and love will never be yours."

Edward made it clear to Daisy that she was nothing to him. They were both victims of family greed -- the marriage was arranged for them.

Six years passed. She remained quiet, gaining a reputation in the army as a tough-as-nails colonel. When she walked into his life again, Edward fell in love with this woman...

s and couldn't help but smile.

Before he met Cassandra, he had never expected to meet someone who would turn his world upside down. He was no longer cold and aloof for Cassandra turned him into the soft and tender gentleman that he was now.

His and Cassandra's story started from that fateful night on the cruise ship so many years ago.

Rufus looked at the little white unicorn by the bed, and his eyes began to grow deeper.

He lowered his head and planted a soft kiss on Cassandra's forehead. He was afraid to wake her up.

'Cassandra, you can sleep safely and soundly by my side for the rest of your life.

I'll protect you all the days of my life, ' he thought to himself.

Each morning that Cassandra woke up to find Rufus beside her was something she treasured. She slept like a baby and woke up to find that she slept on top of Rufus's arm the entire night.

Cassandra quickly raised her head and let go of his arm, apologizing.

"Can you still feel your arm?"

She was used to sleeping on his arm but she would turn every now and then. But last night, she was so tired that she slept like a rock the entire time.

"It's not numb. I'm happy you're here."

Rufus woke up earlier than she did but he didn't move because he didn't want to wake her up. Instead, he just stayed there, staring at her as she slept.
