Special Facility? Altar?

Lin Ke raised his brows curiously. Was this the Elemental Tower’s Special Facility?

He felt like it was not it. The Elemental Tower should be related to elements. Why would there be an Altar?

Ultimately, it felt like it was linked to some sort of Devil Fortress.

Lin Ke stood up quietly. The Altar was something that was already finished building and did not require Players to build it. Hence, he could immediately head over to look at the Altar and inspect its function.

However, Alice arrived along with his breakfast before he was able to leave the Dormitory.

Lin Ke resisted the urge as it was more important to fill up his stomach first.

The Altar would just be there. It was not like it was going to disappear.

The breakfast consisted of a scone that was completely filled with minced meat. It also dripped with some sauce that nobody knew where she had gotten it from. What a pity, Lin Ke was very worried about the taste as he could see some mixture of fruits inside as well.

“This was the breakfast made by Dra this morning. I’ve warmed it up a little bit.” Alice smiled gently as she had a wooden tray in her hands with many scones and minced meat on top of it.

Lin Ke had briefly taught Dra how to make food and yet, she was able to come up with something presentable.

Lin Ke’s eyes widened the instant he took a bite.

It was incredibly delicious!

The taste had reached the very limit!

After Lin Ke took the first bite of this unappealing food, he swiftly finished everything that was in his hand.

The sauce carried a hint of sour and hotness, turning the scones into incredibly delicious food.

Lin Ke ate three at one go and his stomach even bloated up. He reluctantly placed down the fourth scone as he could no longer stuff another one in.

“Okay, I really can’t take another.”

Lin Ke realized he had to stop and waved his hands at Alice.

Only then did Alice pick up a scone for herself. She had been standing to the side while Lin Ke was eating.

“Why are you waiting?” Lin Ke felt an itch on his nose as he saw Alice’s actions. He raised up his hand and scratched it while telling her awkwardly, “You don’t have to wait for me to finish before you start eating. You can eat together with me and the same goes for everyone else.”

Lin Ke was referring to Dra and the rest. They always ate together with Lin Ke instead of waiting for him to finish his food before they began their meals.

“It’s the role of a housemaid to wait for her Lord to finish eating,” Alice said in a serious tone before swiftly finishing the scones in her hand. Then, she cleaned up the plate before heading outside.

Then, Lin Ke noticed that her originally conservative maid costume’s skirt seemed to be missing. It was now a mini skirt.

The bare skin between the white stockings and mini skirt was incredibly eye-catching[1]. Lin Ke could not help but take a second look. He soon realized it was improper and shifted back his gaze. It was then that he was tempted to ask out of curiosity, “Where’s your skirt? What happened?”

However, Alice was already out of his sight before he was able to pop the question. The short duration of surprise made Lin Ke ponder for a while.

“Nevermind, I feel like there’s something I haven’t been told.”

Lin Ke sighed. He got up and started heading towards the Altar.

However, when he arrived at the Altar, he found out that the Facility was actually called the Elemental Furnace!

“… Are you f*cking kidding me?”

Lin Ke called upon the System Notification earlier and saw that the word Altar started twitching and soon changed into another word.

Obviously, it had turned into the word Elemental Furnace.

As if it had noticed Lin Ke’s awareness, the transformation hastened its pace and the word Elemental Furnace appeared instantly before Lin Ke.

Lin Ke was completely dumbfounded as he stared at the notification. He then shifted his gaze towards the facility as he was still at a loss for words. Perhaps he should just commit suicide.

There were only a few possibilities for the change in names.

Firstly, the System had made a mistake, stating the word Altar instead of Elemental Furnace right before him and self-corrected its mistake.

Secondly, the reward was supposed to be the Altar. However, due to the Elemental Tower being there, it was turned into the Elemental Tower’s Special Facility.

Naturally, there was also the last possibility.

That would be the System’s error, assigning another Fortress’s Facility to the Elemental Tower. Then, the Elemental Tower corrected it forcefully, turning the Altar into the Elemental Furnace.

Regardless, what appeared before Lin Ke was the Elemental Furnace, not the Altar as stated by the System Notification.

Lin Ke took note of this incident as it would be likely that he would obtain a new Special Facility. It would be best to take a closer look at it when the time came.

As for what was in front of him, he entered to check it out. Just what could the Elemental Furnace’s function be?

Firstly, the Elemental Furnace’s area was not big. The room did not require any space to be placed down.

Lin Ke felt like hitting his head as he tried to inspect its Attributes.

Since it was a Special Facility, it would not be providing any EXP Points!

What the f*ck! Not only did it not provide any EXP Points, but it had even taken a slot as well! Lin Ke was extremely irritated as he saw this.

He decided that if this Facility could not provide anything useful to him, nobody could blame him for destroying it and making space for other Facilities!

It was not like Players were not able to destroy any Facilities. He would be wasting his time at best!

After taking a closer look at the Elemental Furnace’s introduction, Lin Ke’s expression became weird as his eye kept twitching while staring at the furnace.

‘What the f*ck! Is this a place for gambling?!’

The Elemental Furnace’s function was simple. Players could temporarily place any unneeded Special Items and Special Resources such as Upgrade Stones, Divine Fruits, Forbidden Fruits, Elemental Cores, and even Silver into the Furnace to obtain a certain amount of Smelt Points.

Players would be able to turn the wheel of fortune at the top of the furnace when they had accumulated 300 Smelt Points which had a total of twelve options. The players would obtain the reward that the arrow pointed at.

Naturally, Lin Ke had the right to an advantage since it was a Facility.

He could spin the wheel of fortune once per day every day.

Naturally, he would have to pay the price if he wished to spin more.

Lin Ke tried throwing an Upgrade Stone into it and he had obtained 20 Smelt Points. In other words, 15 Upgrade Stones would give him a try at spinning the wheel of fortune.

It was the same for the Divine Fruit and Forbidden Fruit as they gave only 20 Smelt Points.

10 Elemental Cores were equivalent to 1 Smelt Point. This meant that he would need 3000 Elemental Cores to spin the wheel of fortune once. Lin Ke shook his head as this was not worth doing so at all.

He could only do so if he had so many Elemental Cores that he could not finish them.

Silver’s rate was even worse. 100,000 Silver could only be exchanged for 10 Smelt Points. Spinning it once would cost him 3,000,000 Silver. Lin Ke would rather convert the Divine Fruits into Silver if he could do so.

Fortunately, confirmation was required before he exchanged them into Smelt Points. Had Lin Ke not been able to put away these items, this little experiment would have cost a fortune.

After many trials, Lin Ke had finally found the best thing to place into the wheel of fortune.

Diamonds.

30 Diamonds could be exchanged for 300 Smelt Points, which was one spin.

This was probably the most cost-effective item.
